First to sign the new log! Grateful I brought a geokid for collaborative retrieval. 9 of 11 searches today!
I fear this one maybe be missing as it seems like a pretty straight forward find, however could find nothing there
Didn't manage to find this one. The structure of interest was clear fairly quickly after reading the hint, as well as corroborating information from previous logs. However, despite carefully inspecting and combing all the crevices of the structure in question, no cache was found. Disappointing result in the end.
Cockburn Crew on tour to the Canberra Mega. Day 1 involved a bunch of caching around Sydney before making our way to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. We found a huge variety of caches, and its great to cache in new territory that we havent explored much in the past. Unlike our home state of Western Australia where we have found just about anything and everything.A beautiful day with great weather and even better company. Thank you to the local COs for a great day in and around this great country of ours.
Out and about again, headed over to Sydney early in the morning, grabbed a hire car and got some local hides before driving to Canberra for the MEGA. Super excited my first MEGA and heading over with 2 others from the Cockburn Crew - signed log as WAC to save time. This is 14211, hoping to clock over the 15,000 finds in the week in New South Wales and ACT.Thanks to outback_australian for the caches we found.********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********Head over to Australian Capital Territory for Capital GeoBash MEGA - Canberras first ever Mega Event. Easter 2024 (GC9PNFB): - 5 day event at Canberra Park adjacent to EPIC (Canberra Showgrounds) on the Federal Highway, only 6km from the centre of the city. The mascot for the Mega is Gangles the endemic Gang Gang Cockatoo, a bird you may see or hear while in Canberra. The official website - geobash.ozmega.com.auACT has over 4700 active caches, power trails, and over 100 Lab Adventures. Heaps of challenge caches, hikes for geocaches for all levels of skills and fitness.
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra on Good Friday, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. Arrived in Sydney today after an overnight journey via Melbourne. Feeling pretty buggered, the time difference, short flights and transfer of aircraft in Melbourne didnt help. Despite a sleepless night, we had to push on, and the plan was to catch up with a friend in Coogee. I live near Coogee in Perth, but we pronounce it differently. I eyed off a few caches and LGAs to clean up in the process. If youre receiving this log, the chances are that todays mission was a success. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers outback_australian! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
just got into sydney with aus ballet, noticed there was a cache 100 metres from my apartment.now to do the rest of the city.tftc.
I posted an OAR log due to a full log back on the 19th June. After seven weeks of no response from the CO, I posted a RAR log requesting Reviewer intervention. A geocacher (studyguru) did say they would return to replace the log, but doesn't appear to have done so. As another OAR log has now been posted, I again bring this cache to the attention of a Reviewer via this RAR log.
TFTC! Lid wasn't on properly so log got wet in the recent rains, log is full anyway so needs replacing. Easy find after doing Tote Park a few minutes prior.
As I had to wait for some friends in the morning, I strawelled around the area to find some geocaches. Some of them were very well hidden.

Cache appears to be there and in good order.
Did not retrieve as a result of previous comments but will return later in the week and replace the log so this cache will not need to be archived.

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Although this cache continues to be found, the nano log is totally full. There's been no CO response to my log dated 19/6/23, requesting owner attention.
As such, it's time to bring this cache to the attention of a Reviewer to determine its future.

My normal modus operandi when there's no response from the CO to a Needs Maintenance log after a month is to post a Reviewer Attention Requested log. I'll give this one a little more time and hopefully there'll be some action.
I came here about 4 years ago for a dnf, I was heading for another until a PAF came to the rescue, grrrr. Now how did I miss that before and now? Thanks
The log is full on this cache so a maintenance visit by the CO is requested. Thanks.

Out and about with Rama497 picking up a few local caches. This was one of them. Thanks for the geofun.

A quick stop and find here today, no one around made for an easy find
Today before a lunch time appointment with some work friends in Mascot, I headed to green square/zetland area for a morning walk and to find a few caches
Thanks for the cache

Exhausting day but staying only 200m away I had to go and find this one after dark. Easier with nobody around anyway. Took about 5 minutes but turned up the elusive nano. Log paper is full but managed to make a mark. Can't be sure it is legible though. Thanks for the cache.
I often come along the freeway past this area but there's always so much traffic and after a day's outing doing whatever I'm usually ttoo tired so I don't stop.
Today after the community Celebration Event in Sydney Park and morning tea with afriend from Primary School I wove my way round the streets finding a spot for the geomobile within walking distance of this cache.
Nice park, a pleasant spot!
My father bought one of those early Morris cars as his first car in the 1950's. He didn't sell it till 1970. It was still going well and I saw it on the road a couple of years later.
Spotted the cache easily enough. Getting it out was harder, and finding somewhere to sign on the log sheet was even harder. Finally squeezed my name along the side.

Another great find in Zetland, but unfortunately the cache was too wet and full to add my name to it. So a photo log instead.

Little difficult with the hint but I soon as I saw it I knew where to look. No29 was complete faded so took up the spot. Tftc
I worked on lots of their cars back in the day. Of course, they needed lots of work. There's a good reason that they don't make then[m like they used to. Looked in the trickiest spots first and soon found. Thanks outback_australian.
TFTC,
Continuing with our personal challenge to lift our finds on the 366 day grid to 10 per day.
The God's have shined today and the predicted Rain Bomb hasn't arrived. Nana nel spied this one and I recovered it. Signed the log, visited trackables and returned as found.
I have a special note for this cache and am adding a favourite. I purchased my first 1949 Riley RMB for restoration in 1986 as a basket case. There has been a lot of work done on it but at this time is still a work in progress. Number 2 came from a Deceased Estate in 2007 and is closer to getting back on the road. Number 3, a 1950 model came from another Deceased Estate in 2017 and was fully registered. With a lot of work, I have fixed most of what was wrong with it and have completed many long distance interstate trips in it.

This morning wazza9 & I were planning where we would geocache today, the 1st cache I clicked on was this one and I knew all about Nuffield. So this was our 1st of 5 finds, checked it out on Google Earth, I made a quick find, wazza9 extracted it and we stamped the log and replaced. Thanks to outback_australian.
Back in Sydney for work and a good chance to continue on some caches plus a few new ones.
Searched here and there then almost by accident I saw it.
Thanks to outback_australian for the placement, fun and adventure.

Too many people, best time is probably night time when hardly anyone is there.
Surprisingly quick find even with many muggles - guess after you've found a bunch of nanos they get faster every time.
Lid was on tight but after opening faced the next challenge - none of my pens seemed to be able to write on the log. Quick trip back the the car to grab a gel pen and cache stealthily replaced...
Thanks

We were enjoying our walk around Zetland whilst 'caching. This was another nicely hidden cache. TFTC outback_australian
Nice easy find with the hint. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

cool spot. perhaps it has been put back differently as people kept mentioning being tall. definitely ok for average height now. the clue makes perfect sense in the end. also i have not seen a cache so small.
Found with Arwen21 and Felix the spy. Plenty of muffles about, so left it in position and didn't retrieve or attempt to open. TFTC!
Easy find, but like the others before and have said, cannot unscrew lid. I'll come back with some pliers and see if that helps
Cute nano, hint led us right to it but unfortunately we couldn't get the lid open!! Oh well.
Simple enough cache.. lids on a bit too tight - even la couldn’t open it :0 tftc
What is this x people speak of...
The cache name makes more sense to me. GZ was about 5 members away for me.
