After 2 visits here with friends and lots of searching high and searching low and not wanting to pull off any more bark from her beautiful trunk....I still have not been able to locate the cache / Chris Pratt...wondering if I have the correct place? Or if the cache has been taken?
Found poor Chris Pratt stranded so returned him, sure it’s right sort of area but not sure if exact right hiding place. Fantastic idea, will have to steal it for home!!!
I had been here a few months ago with a DNF, so with the CO having checked on and replaced the cache, it was a return visit for me this evening. I was heading out to see my partner at the Adelaide Fringe, so wanted just a quick cache find today.
This cache had me looking a fair bit. After 5-10 min of searching, I first found "Blue". Only I didn't realise that that was the cache container, as the hint suggested it was at the height of blue, and beyond bark etc. So I continued to make loops at GZ searching for a specific container, but kept returning to *Blue*. Finally, the cache container caught on, and I opened that up to find the logbook. An interesting cache container indeed.
Hoping times are much better for you MissyFarted, and thanks for replacing the container with your ongoing maintenance efforts. A nice park area also.

Today's goal was to collect at least seven different types of geocaches in one day, as we need this to fulfil the requirements for a Challenge at home. Adelaide with lots of caches seemed to be a good place for that.
While doing to nearby Whereigo I made a detour to this little tradional box. At GZ I saw something suspicious, but this cannot be the cache, I said to myself. So I looked around, but no cache to be found. So I took a closer look to the suspicious object, and yes, there it was. I had some difficulties to get the logbook out, but finally found an object on the ground, which helped me.
The idea of this cache is great, I am glad to leave a FAVO and maybe will copy this idea at home..
Regards from Switzerland.

With the string of DNFs, it sounds highly likely that this one is missing, so a CO check may be required.
This geocache was just around the corner from home, so I thought it was going to be a nice strategic one to leave for when I needed a find. I saw a DNF go on this recently, and thought dang. So this afternoon, I thought I would come past and have a look for myself.
Unfortunately, after doing a pretty detailed search of the area, no cache was found. There was a mug and thongs left on the likely GZ tree, but not much else. I suspect it is missing, so a CO check in the near future may be needed. Thanks anyway MissyFarted.

There are still some people living rough here.
Thanks for bringing me here.

There have been several caches to find on my stroll through Adelaide. Just arrived today at our our journeys final destination all the way down from Cairns.
Sad story to read, but I hope you’re doing well today and have fun with Geocaching. As well as me . TFTC!

Maybe no the most comfortable place and way to live, but also even not the worst. Thanks for sharing your story.
Beautiful morning in the park watching nephew soccer practice. Lovely walking trails. TFTC
Found at 19:12 on the way to dog training with Luna.
I hope you're doing better these days, and I hope you're still geocaching

An interesting story about the origin of this cache. Hoping you’re back on your feet and life is treating you well!

Took a few minutes longer than I expected.
I was looking on the usual geocache in a bush locations at first. Then I expanded the search and the cache was found.

TFTC bro. Out for a nice ride on the electric unicycle. Glad to hear things are going well for you now. Log is not water damaged and is a little under 50% full. Cheers
dont know if caching alows this, i wanted to reply to all those who gave me best wishes of now having a safe place to live, i do, even have a cheeky lil fur baby. next finder, could you give me an indication of how the log is doing? ie what fraction full, has wet weather affected it?
We have been a little occupied with things other than caching recently so it had to be Geocaching Day that got us out for a walk today Late afternoon not many people around and a quiet place to search for a hide with being disturbed. Took a while but eventually we managed to get our hands on the cache. TNLNSL TFTC
Sitting at home watching the Crows vs Collingwood, which is a far cry from sleeping rough. Had a chance to search for this cache while near the city. I could actually visualise camping in this location. I hope that you have a good place to live now. Thanks for the cache and to bring to out attention the plight of too many people.
Cache #62 - I walk past here alot with my dog and he always wants pats from his friends in the trees so we may have crossed paths. Hope you have a nice warm place now. TFTC
A quick find between work & meeting, with Moneydork...
I was surprised to see all the renovations here and the creation of a lovely renewed park...
I could only imagine what it would be like to be homeless and sleep rough...

Making the most of the afternoon sun, and the fact that I was already out running a few errands, I decided to fit in some caching as well. Picking up a few trads, a puzzle that previously had me stumped and some multies that I had previously worked out, it was a pleasant afternoon as all caches were found in good order.

Went for a quick scooter and then jog to this one during my lunch break. Being only with a phone, the signal was jumping around a bit, but settled down eventually and I zero'ed in on the find. Dad and child were BBQ'ing at the nearby gazebo, but had their back to me the whole time so were none the wiser. TFTC!
After an event in the city at lunch time today I zipped around on my bike to collect a few caches near by. This was a nice and quick find TFTC
I couldn't imagine having to sleep out here for a week, let alone 6 months .
So happy that things have got better and you can look back on that time with a 'been there, done that' attitude [^]. I'm sure it helps having a furbaby as a friend (apart from the farting) [:o)].
TNLNSL.
Thanks MissyFarted.

A nice walk through the parkland & cyclists and dog walkers were making the most of the day.
As we were away from the path, searching was easy & we soon had the cache.
Thanks for the hide MissFarty

On a Monday I usually have a big walk between trains and try to find a cache. But yesterday I had to do our food shop as we had been away for the weekend. So that shifted the big walk and a cache to today instead. I am running out of options in the city other than hard puzzles and long multis so was very happy to see this new trad pop up recently. I had been 'saving' it for a today like today where I needed a cache to keep my streak going.
My plan had been to catch the tram up from North Terrace, walk to the cache and then to the Showgrounds station. Then I realised that the trams are not running at the moment. So it turned into a mammoth walk! My iwatch said I had walked 12km for the day, my feet and back felt like I had too.
Thank you for placing this cache where you used to sleep rough, and good on you for turning things round so you aren't sleeping rough now. I can't imagine what it would be like on these cold nights and indeed very hot ones.
Quick find and sign here and then onwards with the march to the station, made an on time arrival for the 6.26 to Seaford.

Found on a run with my pup. This area looks nice with the new additions. Thanks for the cache, and hopefully that you have somewhere warm to stay nowadays
We spent the better part of three weeks travelling, seeing the sights, visiting with friends, and caching the best Australia had to offer!
Where ink was required, we signed the log as "221B?".
Where we visited Earthcaches, 'Library Ladies' or 'DaxVolks' sent in our required 'dissertations'. Thank you for the 'geo-lessons' we learned!
All the best to those who place and maintain caches for others to find (without you, there is no game to play)!
Cheers!

Group find for team 221B️. We are a group of cachers from Texas and are having a great time caching in Australia. This was a fairly quick find in a very nice park. TFTC.
I have noticed a few people sleeping rough here over the summer but no-one here today. It's been very cold the last few days so it's good to see some places elsewhere open their doors to people who are less fortunate than us. Never take what you have for granted because it could all change in an instant. TNLN. Cheers.
Ouch, I've never had to sleep rough (apart from my time in the Army) and hope I never get to the stage I need to. I like my creature comforts too much. Good to see you're back on your feet.
Thanks for the cache MissyFarted.

I had been MIA for the last few Wednesday Wanderings of the Puzzled Puzzler group for various reasons. So it was good to be available to join S.A. Sewer Rats, Blackadders and sushilord for a wander about in search of solved puzzles and anything else that we were passing. [^] In particular the last three offerings from BFE had been solved and needed to be collected.
Meeting up down near where there is to be an event in just 10 hours time we piled into one geomobile and set forth in search of smileys. This was the first one on the list. I couldn't believe a new cache could be inserted into the parklands. I didn't think there was any room left! But there was and after a short walk the cache was soon in hand and the log book signed.
**Thanks MissyFarted for this cache. **

Taking the hound for a quick walk on a dreary Sunday afternoon and stopped by for a quick cache !
One last cache? Why not! Of course, parking at this time was an issue and the walk was much longer than at first anticipated. Cache not found in the first place looked, but was eventually narrowed down.
I never 'Sleep Rough' coz i love my creature comforts too much.... Always a motel and bed for me when interstate and or on trips away
Today after trying out the new Coopers XPA fruity-type beer at the Coopers Ale House not too far away, i made my way to this one to make a most swift find in the 1st place i looked (for once ha ha). Must've been the Coopers XPA kickin' in

Having spent 4 days in Sydney where we walked everywhere I was motivated to go for a walk during my lunch break. Also motivated that a cache was reasonably close - 1.1 ks as crow flies - & surely could be found during my lunch break. Tftc
Mr Tardis made a detour on the way to work to find this one.
I found it in the first place I looked- don't you just love it when that happens?

Thought it was about time that I made the find on this one as it is close to work. Had to leave work early to drop off some supplies and made the slight detour on the way. Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ. GPS drove me crazy. it had a mind of its own but I had a general idea where to head so put it away and started the search. Found the cache in the last place I looked which was not the first place I looked. Signed the log and replaced. Commenced the log entry as I wandered back to the car. Good to have this off the map.

I don’t think I’d do this at night without Skippy.
Saw a guy with a pick axe wander past. I watched him through the trees. I don’t think he saw me.
Thanks MissyFarted and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

I had been to a CITO at Kingston Park and thought I would come for a drive to find a few of the newly published caches. [^]
As I was driving to the first cache the heavens opened up and I thought of turning around and heading back home, but I kept going and as I approached my first cache it had stopped raining.
By the time I got to this one there was some sun shining through the clouds which made the parklands look really nice especially as everything was looking green and wet. [^]
I had a nice walk to GZ admiring all the work that had been done in this section of the parklands since my last visit here. Found the cache, stamped the log then headed back to the car after stopping to watch some parrots in the trees.
