Dear CO,I'm in Albury for the weekend with my GC Adventure friends, DarksideDan and QueenK8, enjoying a fun-filled geocaching trip. Its been a fantastic opportunity to explore the area, find hidden treasures, and share some laughs along the way.We found this cache and signed the log as DQK10. It was great to see how well-maintained it is, so thank you for putting in the effort to keep it in good condition. The hide was cleverly placed, and we appreciated the thought you put into it.About this Cache:Found easily! Loved the traditional. Coordinates Accuracy: The cache was very close to where our GPS pointed us. Nice work on the placement!Hint: The hint was very helpful. Cache Condition: The container and logbook were in great conditionalways a joy to see. Thanks for giving us another memorable adventure to add to our trip. Well be on the lookout for more caches as we continue exploring.More adventures ahead!Kind regards,C10Appel
I'm in Albury for the weekend, geocaching with DARKSIDEDAN and C10A. This is one of the caches that we found. Log signed DQ10.Thanks for the cache, Thewins5
Setting out for a day of caching along the border between Victoria and NSW. This was the first find for the trip,. Unfortunately the lid is cracked and has a damp log .
Found out in the open. Container is very wet and log damp. Drained water and replaced with a bit of cover over the blue clips. Thanks for placing.
Found it! Lid on the cache was cracked so it was full of water - I emptied it out. Log was dry inside the plastic bag.
Hello Thewins5 thank you for the cacheA quick find.I found this cache during our Newcastle 2024 trip to see the grandchildren.Found on Thursday, 02 May 2024 at 1601**TFTC**
This was a good one that took a little bit of hunting. Found a trackable as well so kids were pretty happy. Left another in its place. TFTC

New and last of the Victorian LGAs to discover..a small detour on my destination to pick up this cache. Very pretty looking place..I shall endeavour to return to explore some more when time permits.
With Featherwaite we're on our way home from Canberra after the GeoBash Mega over Easter. On our way we set our route to take in LGAs that I have no finds in. Day 1 we made it to Wodonga and Day 2 we arrived in Terrick Terrick NP and Day 3 we were home.Unless stated this cache is in good condition.Apologies for the generic log.TFTC
Found with Team Waldron on our way back to Adelaide after attending the Capital GeoBash mega event in Canberra over the Easter weekend. Stayed in Wodonga overnight then headed westward to Mt Terrick Terrick campsite near Mitiamo, searching for caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Thewins5!
On our way to Canberra Mega, decided to spend a few days in Albury as we cache our way to 4000 caches.Today was the day we wanted to explore Lake Hume. A Willie wagtail showed us the way to the cache. Tftc.
Found before travelling from Albury to Canberra (home) after having been in Ballarat to complete the GeoTour. Quick find at GZ, awesome views from up here. TNLNSL. TFTC Thewins5!
A special pre-Christmas weekend in Albury/Wadonga with my partner catnap777 visiting family and a whole heap of solved mystery caches. This was one trad' I really wanted to add to the list simply because it was close to the border of a county I hadn't yet cached in. What I wasn't expecting was to be introduced to such an amazing location. This was the first time I laid eyes on the bridge or the quarry and... WOW!! Awesome. Actually, I think it was my first visit to lake hume too. TFTC Thewins5..... and the views.
I was in the north-east to spend a few days in the Snowy high country with the MX-5 Club... starting tomorrow morning in Beechworth... so I had driven up from Melbourne today for an easy start in the morning... and to find enough caches in the Towong Shire to be able to cross that LGA off for the **WCW - The 80/20 Rule Challenge**... something the beginning of the **Border Loop** series was perfect for.Now back across into Victoria, time to start my cruise along the *River Road*... which, unlike my previous trip, would be quite slow as I would be stopping regularly along the way for caches. First stop in Victoria was an easy find... if you didn't mind getting your socks and shoes full spiky seeds. Thanks to **Thewins5** for this cache... and the series.
Day 128 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic which started in June, and day 127 of a streak. With QOGM done and dusted for it's final year we are heading the caravan towards home, well sort off. Goal is to tick off LGA's and missing sectors in 360 degrees from home. With that goal in mind, we are heading across the border today to tick off Toowong LGA, gathering smilies as we travel, and our first in this LGATFTC TB's visited
At first we thought it was gone but we found it looks like an animal lives there but found it

Cache relocated to new coordinates. Hopefully it lasts here.
Will need to walk a little to enjoy the view

Cache is ready to go - just need to get out to place (in a new location I suspect). Hopefully will get a chance over the Easter weekend.
This one has had problems recently - container is now smashed but I have the log (those ticks were a fair way from the original hide). I will replace in a new location nearby over the next few weeks
Found GZ based on GPS coordinates and likely hiding spot, however based on previous cachers post, it appears that the log is gone. Maintenance required

After completing one LGA, it was now time to move onto the next one.
I headed out on a road trip to concentrate on 3 particular LGA’s finding enough caches in each so that I will finally qualify for a particular challenge cache.
I was passing by this one so I stopped, it wasn’t long before the cache was found and the log was stamped.
**Thanks to Thewins5 for placing this cache.**

The background to this cache location was quite interesting especially since how the dam was constructed is often ignored when traveling around Lake Hume. In fact how dams are constructed often vary from location to location to it was good to read about aspects of the evolution of this dams construction.

Found on the trip home after another awesome, annual QOGM event. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

Thanks for the hide.
Cache was back in its spot - I suspect someone knows the hide as I removed the offensive note left in the cache (hopefully not any more further along the road).
Will keep an eye on this one and move if it is going to be problematic- the hint will move with it.
Tb is also missing

Had been worried this had been moved - it should not take 20 minutes to find.
Finally visited today and cache is gone. Contacted last finder to see if I can track it down but will be back soon to replace.

Jumped too early. Hunted a bit more and found the cache about 8 metres from original spot. Returned to where it should be.
There is a bit of disturbance around here so I will keep an eye out

Very interesting took 20 mins to found but very thrilling need to look around
I made a short detour up to Toowong LGA from Wadonga to fill a missing LGA on my map.
The cache was found without problems in a logical place. All good here.
Thanks for the cache Thewins5.

TFTC. We are stuck in Albury for a few days while waiting for part for our Motorhome. so many decisions as to which way to cache. We tossed a coin and decided to make a start on the Border Loop series. We went out as far as Tarrangatta creek. A lovely trail and great views everywhere.

Crossed the bridge back into Victoria for a great little find closer to sunset. Thanks.
Just catching up with some late logging on caches found with ilook4geo. This was one of the caches we found and the log was duly stamped with both names. Thanks go to Thewins5 for placing this cache.
Went out on the caching hunt with goingplaces2 and found this cache. No problem with the find and signing duties were soon done. TFTC.
Getting closer to the end we continued our adventure with Papi4506 and Geoturtle37 along the Murray taking in the magnificent vistas of the tree clad hills one way and calm waters the other.
We watched a couple of jet skis from up here, very envious of them.
Thanks Thewins5 for the placement.

A slow meander after a busy weekend at the Wangaratta Mega. Collecting a cache in Towong Shire helps fill in a gap in my LGA challenge.
Came here as the closest doable cache to Albury... lolA quick find with an awesome view.TNLNSL Thanks
It was an amazing find it was super easy to find I liked this one it was fun to find it
Out caching with JOELISA on this fine December day. Pretty cool driving over that bridge, I always think it’s way too narrow but it just gets the job done. Simple cache, confident start to the border loop series. Thankyou!
Great fun racing to find this cache with the family. Beautiful views in nature.

To celebrate my birthday, Mrs. Dozzie and I drove down from Sydney to Albury to spent a few days exploring the area, including Rutherglenn, Beechworth and Yackandandah. Of course a few caches had to be added to the program, including a few along the Hume highway.
The surrounds of Lake Hume and Bellbird are quite depressing. No trees, a boring lake and where do people do their shopping? Not a place I would like to spend my vacation.
Luckily there were a number of caches in the area which made it still worthwhile to drive up here.
