Same deal. was giving up to walk back away from the water side and there it was. Tftc
Had a quick look, but the ground is all freshly mulched and wood chipped so it didnt feel right tramping around.
Scrambled amongst the bushes for a half hour. Nowhere to put a micro. Hate micros. We give up.
Unfortunately crashing around in the bush and even looking at past finds didnt quite become a success. Last few cachers logged dnfs so maybe its missing? Who knows
Popped in to check on but it has gone so now replaced all good to go.Sorry for those with the DNF
Looked and looked with busy paws. Found lovely rock at GZ but nothing there. Tried hanging and all other trees and flax.
Tftc, not the typical container we have usually been seeing, once we stopped looking at our feet it became obvious
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288
This is the 2nd bluey that we have found today. 2 years ago we logged a DNF. Thankfully today is a smiley
Cheers, Cympull.

So hard to see, but very clear once you see it, what a good hide. All in good condition, thanks Stretch.
Staying in the NZMCA Park nearby and went searching without geopup Finn this time. No long vegetation to contend with at this time of the year. Reasonably quick find today. TFTC.
Saw some swans here today. Started walking before lunch but we should have eaten first. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee road trip to Nelson. Today we cruised around Motueka, after the morning rain had stopped.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Crashed around in the bushes until a bit of colour caught my eye.
No reflections for me,thetidewas well out

No reflections today, with a bit of wind, and it took us quite a while to access and find this cache. We suggest the difficulty should be at least 2. TFTC
Ones like thus you either see right away or never. This time I saw it to make up for my dnf last time. No reflections. No water!!
Having spent a useful hour or so at a CITO event in Nelson I took the opportunity to head out to Motueka, a caching area I have neglected for too long.
I was unsure what I might be in for here as all the signs were that it was going to be snuck away a tree somewhere.
Taking a bit of a direct route I was pleased to spot the cache pretty quickly all things considered.
Thanks Stretch0

On a walk with my 4 1/2 month old daughter and saw it was close, Beautiful spot! Sadly didn’t have a pen on me but will be back later!
Ufffff, no hint and so many possibilities!
It took me some time and it was probably the typical moment about to give up when I lifted the view and it was just there!
Easier in winter time I guess, but it still was a longer search for me.

After climbing through bushes to GZ, discovered there was an easier path A little bit of searching and then we spotted it.
This could have been a much tougher find, but I was lucky enough to spot the glint of metal pretty quickly. Thanks that it’s not a camo! TFTC Stretch0.

Lovely tiki tour into Motueka for lunch after the Mapua Easter Fair. Had the best lunch ever at Toad Hall!

Found with NZDi. It is Easter and NZDi decided she wanted to go to the Mapua Easter Fair seeing she missed out last year due to Covid-19 Level 4 Lockdown. Also we purchased a caravan late last year and as Easter is traditionally the last outing of the season before caravans are closed up for winter, we didn't want to waste this opportunity even though we have another trip planned next month.
So the plan is to set up at Motueka Top 10 Holiday Park for three days going to the Fair on Sunday, then on Monday look at the weather and decide whether to spend another three days in Golden Bay or head down the Wet Coast. In the meantime there is some caching to do.
Having cheekily checked in early at the caravan park and scoffed a lunch we prepared at home before we left, we headed out this neck of the woods on our MTB. On our way here we got the info for a puzzle and two multis, but the puzzle final was some distance in the future and the multis had us confused so we figured we would work on them back at the caravan. So now we are heading south along the coastal track heading for the other end of town picking up caches along the way.
This was our twelfth find of the day and surprisingly it was easier than the previous one by this CO. We usually have trouble latching on to these type of hides but this time this wasn't the case, maybe because the colour stood out.

A bit breezy for reflections today, but the swans were in attendance watching me carefully. A slight geotrail led me to gz, then a good stare at likely spots had me finding the good hide. Had a nose around the empty bike track nearby, I don't think I'll be braving those jumps.
Thanks very much!
Thanks very much!
No reflections today ..the tide is out...but I am guessing it would be superb thanks for the cache and bringing me to this great spot
We are biking around finding caches this afternoon. Finding a way in here was the issue. Lovely estuary views. Thanks for the cache
After spending the day over takaka way we are back for dinner in Zara. This one is on our back door step so come for a walk after dinner to get this one snagged and tagged. Cheers
Saturday 13 Feb - Motueka - Takaka - Pupu Springs - Collingwood - Riwaka and back to Motueka. Another fun day.
A surprise call from Taybee NZ wanting to do the PWGT series inspired us to come to Tasman for a 3 day weekend with Zara and Toby. We explored some awesome spots in Collingwood, Takaka, Kaiteriteri, Riwaka, Wakefield, Nelson and Cable Bay. Thanks for al the COs who helped this happen. Enjoyed reading all the cache pages relating to NZs history and events.

Found while on a nice walk. Beautiful little view of the eastury from the cache. TFTC
No luck for geopup and me today. Too much wind creating ripples for reflections so missed on both counts. Maybe another time.
When I first arrived at gz I was pretty sure what kind of cache this was going to be. Sure enough after a quick follow of the geotrail I had the cache in hand. Tftc
An early morning trip over from Takaka to find a cache or two to keep the numbers ticking over. took me a few moments to spot. TFTC
Found last month on the 24th but forgot to log on here. Signed the paper tho. TFTC. Beautiful spot. Kids had a ball on the bmx track
