Would love to go back & try this again but no finds in 8 months & no CO maintenance
This park was a little busier than others I have visited today Being vertically challenged “above head height “ could mean a great distance for me
Hmm? Spent some time here and came up empty sadly. Will come back another time. Thanks for the hunt handshow.
Just moved in across the street. An easy find to get me back into caching after a long absence. TFTC.
Thankfully the muggle sitting near GZ moved on as we approached. Just as well as it took quite some looking before La Kedi finally spotted it. TFTC
Looked here there and everywhere for this one before spying it neatly tucked away. TFTC handshow
There was a chap on his phone very close to GZ on arrival, but fortunately he left before we started our approach. It took quite a bit of looking in quite a few spots before I spotted the little cache hidden up high. An unusual style of hide! Plenty of work going into the new playground here.
TFTC, handshow. =^.^=

A sneaky hide in a good location. It looks like the nearby park is getting a real makeover and will be fun for lots of kids to play in very soon. The hide is well camouflaged amongst the foliage but we manage to make a find with very accurate coordinates.
Thanks handshow

Due to several recent DNFs, I've disabled this one. I will check on it this week.
No luck unfortunately, looked all over, without climbing any tree. Hopefully others more successful:)
After 3 successful finds this morning, this one has stumped us.. #birthdaycachingdayout
[Logged 3/09/20 - sincere apologies for the late note!]
Found with a friend on a caching trip. Park-goers nearby made me worried that we were going to have to leave this one behind but luckily upon spotting, it was a quick and easy retrieval. TFTC

Out today with just a couple of hours free before work starts, I need to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day. While I am very close to finishing my cache a day challenge, it is getting harder to find a cache close to work and also near home, while still being able to fulfil work commitments.
Today I zipped over to East Brisbane and Norman Park to try my luck with a few caches, I managed to grab a few and got a couple of dnf’s as well.
After a couple of dnf’s I was thinking this is going to be the worse day in caching history three from three and all dnf’s. Determined to get a least one cache and I need to get at least one cache, I continued on and finally got a win.
This was my second find for the day, a relatively easy find as the hide did stand out. Thank you for placing this one here, all good with cache and with log signed and cache replaced it was off to find another, hopefully.

Continuing my stroll around the area...
There were a couple of guys finishing a workout at the rotunda but I found I was able to access the cache and sign up out of their sight.
The cache and log are in surprisingly good nick and seem secure here so TFTC.

Should have been a quick find. It wasn't. Took me 3 laps and a moment of doubt. Tftc
Second last of the ten caches I managed to find today on my meanderings.
This was one of the fastest ever finds, an actual park and grab as the first place i rode up to and leaned over on the tredley, there it was.
Thanks handshow for hiding a cache here!

They were 16 Traditional, 1 letterbox and Virtual which was FTF.
Sorry for generic post

Sunday cycle and was the first of hopefully many today. Quick find. Although the bag has been compromised and the log quite damp. Didn't try to use my pen on this one
I bought a new bike and today was my chance for a bigger test ride and legally being outside doing exercises.
Found quickly.

What a cutie. As I pulled up I made a guess that the cache would be at this location but after circling around once I began to wonder. Then I spied a tell tale sign that a cache was nearby

Day out with Mahonys4171, kudos to Rusty for the find. I've been past this park many times but never explored, I will be back. TFTC
Wonder how I could miss that one? Third time lucky here.
Happy to add this to the list of finds.

After work I decided to go for a bike ride and this was my second cache today and a 8km ride. I went round the tree twice before I spotted this cache. Thanks for the fun
The recent DNFs almost put me off...but 2 recent finds Its there alright. Bear in mind it is a SMALL plastic container, indeed, likely the smallest u will eva see, & these trees have LOTS of hideys. I had to shoo a small huntsman to retrieve the container; man, can they scuttleT4TC
Headed south early to try and find a few caches before the big gaseous ball in the sky made outdoor activities unpleasant.

Nice easy cache found whilst taking junior to the park around the corner from visiting the fam. At eye level for me, so quickly spotted.
I'm on a mission to fill in the gaps on the map between my usual hunts, so happy to get this one.

Same parking spot as yesterday. The trees in the park are in flower and very pretty right now. The park was empty when I arrived and a short hunt soon located the cache. Glad I hunted before my walk. A few dogs and muggles in the park when I got back, as well as the road workers across the other side.
Got this one easily tonight as it was missing last time I looked and has just been replaced. Lucky for me as that is day 4 found and logged with 3 remaining day. Signed the log and replace as found. TFTC
I checked today and the cache has indeed been stolen. Its replacement has been located in a slightly different spot. Coordinates have been updated.
Coordinates changed from:
S 27° 28.632 E 153° 3.485
Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 28.639 E 153° 3.472
Distance from original: 82.0 feet or 25.0 meters.
The previous cache has been stolen. This slightly different location may mean greater longevity.

Perfect timing replacing the cache, thanks Handshow . I was looking at my streak week list thinking about which cache I should try for on the way home when I noticed this one was back in play. Yay! Just a very short detour on the way home and a quick find to boot! Day 3/7 sorted. Tftc
Ghostgums and I dropped in for a quick scout around, but were not expecting to find the cache with previous DNFs and a suggestion that one was with a previous finder. We covered the obvious areas on multiple trees, but came up empty handed.
Checked the obvious spots but nothing located. Someone likes to use the trees as an ashtray apparently. Treeworks currently being undertaken in this park
Sadly I've registered a DNF on this one as I'm with DeafPhantom who had found it before and it is not where she found it. CO is going to check it out soon.
I was focusing on the wrong thing but a quick call to the local constabulary put my on the right path and I quickly had it in hand. No sign of the possum mentioned by the previous finder. I suspect he must have been thinking of the other cache around the corner. Thanks for the cache
After parking close to the search area I headed in for the search and didn't see the dead possum until I moved the covering off it . I wonder how long before it starts to stink? It will be interesting to read the logs then.
A couple of circuits around the spot before I located the cache.

Up early for a massage booking and decided to clear the new local caches With my muscles pimped and prodded it was time to clear the map... again
Parked up and headed towards GZ. Spotted the crime tape around a couple of trees. Maybe the CO is cleverly hiding the bodies near geocaches to thwart the good Captain Vimes in his quest to clear the local area of vagabonds When the dumbphone settled it led me to another spot and soon had this sneaky cache in my hand
TFTC handshow A FAVE point here.

Another STF … LOL
Gazumped again by Captain Vimes!
Back to the Watch with you before I 'go spare'!
Another quick find, parked the Geo-Beast so close we almost ran over the cache, figuratively speaking of course!

Not far on from the dragons I managed to catch a couple of non licenced theives trying to relieve the Agony Aunts from their bags... must be new to the city. I think it will be a while before they are both upright and walking again.
