Unfortunately there has been no response (or regular update) from the owner within the time requested and as per the original note this geocache has now been archived. If you wish to replace it please submit a new listing via [this link](https://www.geocaching.com/play/hide).Jingeri
Have another maintenance run planned for in a couple of weeks with some replacement caches. Although we did get our muggle son to check on this when he went to the nearby Surf Club and he reckons it is there!
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Auswanderers for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Another play day with Peppa, this time finding caches to complete a Challenge from the Northside. It was suggested we go South today and with showers happening all day, it was a bit of a challenge to try and stay dry.
Unfortunately we searched all around the area and above, getting covered in pigeon poo and making sure not to have my mouth open. Resorted to a PAF who confirmed our location even with a photo, still couldn't locate this cache. May need the CO to check on this one.

Patrol14 still had caches to find for the latest Challenge on the Northside of Brisbane so I suggested a trip to the Fabulous Gold Coast…
It turned into a day of random caches, some found in the rain, some in clear weather… it was just that kind of day…
Our first DNF of the day… even after a couple of PAFs and a very specific picture in return we failed here and returned to the car much wetter than when we left it…

A quick find after being in the park across the road. Seen a few of these before but it's patina really helps it's placement. TFTC
Out today to finish off the nearby AL. Nice and quiet at GZ mid-morning on a weekday. Sometimes I get lucky and go straight to the right spot.
Searched for ages in totally the wrong spot, then read some previous logs and changed my focus, then quickly found, thanks
Caching on the Gold Coast with RoddyC, Hatsoff, Grannysmith47 and this one was on our radar. Quickly found before we got eaten. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
A Day on the Goldie working our way north from Palm Beach
Took a while because of the oxidation. Not the end of the line for us today. Off to do that nearby Adventure Lab.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 12:06 PM on October 16, 2021. TFTC, Auswanderers

Caching today with RoddyC imbunda snickersallan and GS1947 on day 2 to the Gold Coast.
This was the start of our line in this area today. Great to start on a positive note although we wished we had a can of spray. (Next cacher might like to bring one).

A day around the Gold Coast & surrounding areas clearing up a few AdLabs (plus a few bonuses & a random cache or two) ... Mrs VC has taken quite a shine to them.
#9 of 35 smilies collected today.
Coordinates were spot on & a quick find made here.
No muggle strollers or fisherman so it was a breeze here today.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

I eat lunch from Mon-Fri quite close to this cache, but wanted to wait for Mr DominTee to search. Of course, the better seeker of the 2 found it fairly fast. TFTC
Another over exuberate newbie logging maintenance because they cannot find something. All good.
Just happened to look at the right spot. It’s a Friday- we had to find a cache!! Out with PirateLinda
Great walk through NP. Hadn’t been here for many years.

Found out with Giraffe 18. Read a few logs to get some clues. I touched something Giraffe touched something else and came up with the goods. Lovely walk around the headland to get here. Favourite for use of natural Camo
Found whilst attempting adv lab closeby. No end of problems with telstra today. Cache all ok. TFTC
Collected on the way back from a walk around the headland. Found in between muggles. Tftc
We tried these some years ago with little success. Today being more aware of this cache owners devious and creative hides we had more success. Fav point alloc. Thanks Auswanderers. Very pretty along here and parking was no problem.
A rainy mourning presented the perfect opportunity to come back and search here without a constant flow of muggles.
Looked at a different altitude yesterday but too many muggles prevented a search in the right spot.
Tftc had no pen but can provide a photo to prove if required.

We were in the area doing the AL cache and stopped by for a quick find. Thanks...
Brislions and I had completed a pleasant stroll of Burleigh headland, following the new adventure lab. We stopped by this cache on our way back to the geomobile. At GZ, something was spotted that "wasn't quite right". Closer investigation revealed it to be the cache. With our names added to the log and everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Selva Girls and I headed down to the Gold Coast today, chasing a FTF which I notice the other day. So today target was Adventure Lab which a bonus cache.
So the count was 3 mystery, multi, earthcache, 16 Traditional and AL with 5 waypoints. 26 finds.
Sorry for the generic post.

Teenager wanted to stop off here to get some amazing sunset shots. While he was busy doing that I headed off to make this find. It took me a couple of goes but I got it eventually. TFTC Auswanderers
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
Found on my second attempt after getting a hint from a previous finder. Suddenly like a bolt out of the blue, I spotted the cache and was able to sign the log. TFTC
Found on 16/03/2020 before the CV restrictions. I am catching up on my logs

Well we moved further up the coast today so that we could get the caravan in for a service, so with nothing else to do we did a spot of caching. Managed to get a few along the shoreline, but still missed some.

This one gave me a laugh for what was going on around us, some people, I think they were international visitors were jumping from the bridge, they would run past very excited and then you could hear the fear come in, then the do I have to do this, then the I do it, okay!!!! one had not jumped in the whole time we were there... Cache was quickly found, log signed and we moved away. TFTC
Took a little longer than it should have over thinking things I think , I used to paddle my board down this river around to Burleigh Heads to work 25yrs ago it wasn’t so busy back then that’s for the rehash of memories

Came to grab this one first before we parked other side and walked,on to this one in a flash.TFTC
After a great lunch at the nearby tavern, I realised I'd missed this one last time I was in the area. TFTC
TFTC. Quick find at the start of our walk around the hill. No equipment on us so hope a pic will do.
Third find this morning. Hide so nifty that it’s a favourite point from us. No pen & my pic would have been a spoiler so You’ll have to trust us! TFTC
Good hide! Be careful as while we were looking some passers by asked us if we were looking for the python living under the bridge!
A lovely walk across the bridge to look for the last in this most enjoyable series that is full of wonderful scenery & views. Great hide here that suits its location, well done CO.

Our final find in the Tally series - after walking across the bridge and waiting for various muggles to keep moving on - we made a rather quick find and sign. Photos taken and back to our cars. Thanks.
Phew! My mojo hasn’t completely left me. A nice quick find here with great relief after spending way too long at the last one which was a DNF sadly. So smiles are back - in the log and on the face. Thanks AusWanderers!
Cheers and happy caching!

Took a while as we had eyes around us but we found it ! No pen to log but thanks for the find
I only work over the hill, in fact I travel over this bridge every morning on the way to place of said employment. Today I seemed to be at one….long....meeting. So when the cache notification came through I thought it was an opportune way of clearing the head of facts, figures, and procedures. I just had to actually leave the place the pays me the little $$$ first.
Tossing up which one to do first, I decided on this one since I was travelling through Koala Park anyway. I pulled off and parked in Awoonga Av. Its normally quite packed on a nice day but the stiff cold breeze and threatening rain clouds chased away everyone except the solidary ardent walker, and apparently two geocachers. Thinking about the name of the cache there were a number of possibilities here, I checked several, returning to the first and stepped up to the mark and found it. Unrolled the log to discover it empty - yes! *ftf* - been a long time since we had one of those.
Signed the log, tapped off a quick note to say I had found it, and bundled myself into a warm car. According to the BOM site the apparent temperature was 8.7c with the wind at 26 km/hr from SSW. Congratulations to GurTheWanderer on finding the other new cache, sorry to disrupt your streak.
Thanks Auswanderers for the new cache.

Huh! Just goes to show how quick you need to be to make the FTF. I was feeling pretty smug after locating the one close to the beach and I’m glad I found that one first. But I was surprised to see this one logged as I was walking over!! it would have been nice to sweep all these but not meant to be.
This is a clever hide that takes a bit of lateral thinking.
A good series TFTC.
