In Leeds for the cricket and with a spare day I headed out to try a few earthcaches. Managed to walk just over 4klms and pick up 10, as well as virtual and webcam.
All were interesting spots, with some info quickly gathered, some that took a bit of re-reading and research back at the motel. Answers have all been sent and hopefully all is good,
Thanks for the lessons Hillgorilla, something new was certainly learnt.

Completing some earthcaches today. This one we found the most difficult. Our attempt at answers sent to CO. TFTEC
In Leeds to see a customer with work. Spent some time outside the shop nite book in hand and examined the cladding in front of me. Another Earthcache where I’m not entirely sure I’ve got things 100%. Correct but once again it was interesting to look at things from a different perspective. Answers sent to the CO. Tftc
Plan B today after heavy rain at home put paid to Plan A so it was off to Leeds to locate the 5 new earthcaches. Answers sent to CO. Another excellent earthcache which it would be very easy to walk past and ignore. Tftec.
My seventh urban earthcache of the afternoon, and just when you think you've seen all the unusual features that Leeds' granite has to offer, along comes something different! I'm not sure I've ever seen flow banding in granite before, so this was fascinating to see up close and learn about. Answers all sent - thank you!
Been today gather information interest earth cache answers sent by preferred method TFTC
After my day in the blazing sun & with Cathryn at work I got her to drop me off in Kirkstall Road so I could pick up the new EarthCaches & a trad.
It's been fabulous walking around Leeds today. The scenery has been beautiful to say the least .
Answers noted and I was soon on my way again.

No problem finding the shop and the granite cladding. My Muggle wife left me to wrestle with the flow bands and went inside to do some shopping. Yikes. Could get expensive. I had made my notes when a couple of Geocachers from Essex rolled up and I introduced myself in the hope they might give me a clue. They were very friendly and more relaxed than me about the task in hand. Perhaps they knew what they were doing. Anyhow, many thanks to the CO for creating this EarthCache. Answers to follow.
Execellent hint led us quickly to GZ, where our answers were obtained and submitted to CO.
Thank you Hillgorilla for another interesting Earthcache.

A day in Leeds city centre with my caching pal Simwil (Simon) to, once again, clear it of unfound caches.
Seven Earth caches attempted and I have the answers which I will forward to the CO, on behalf of us both, in due course. In the meantime I'll be cheeky and log them all as found.
Thanks for setting these and giving us an excuse to use public transport to visit Leeds

A day out in Leeds with Kevin of the hairyfairies to sort some recent additions to the map. Now for seven earthcaches and Kevin kindly agreed to submit our agreed answers for both of us. Fro the questions we knew we were in the right place. All interesting.
Another Earthcache off our list of 13 this short stay in Leeds, staying at Leeds Dock. Interesting to see if there is any flow banding visible, we soon had our opinion on that. Monday afternoon and Briggate was still very busy with muggles and entertainers. TFTEC.
Another EC that’s been on my list for a while. It didn’t help my embarrassment that there was a window dresser dressing a mannequin....I was taking photos and I wonder if he thought I was taking them of him!
Calculations taken, answers sent to CO. TFT Earthcache.

Answers sent to the CO. Thanks for setting this EarthCache, something we have never come across before.
. WoW a real treat today at GZ we saw a supermarine spitfire which was in service between 1936 and 1955. In this time it was the UKs main fighter aircraft and it had a vital role in seeing us through WW11 there was also plenty of other military stuff to see. Oh and some granite too
