### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information.. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Good search at GZ but no luck here Sad

21-Mar-24
Currently playing the patience game with a muggle or are they a fellow geocacher who is 'taking photographs' until those muggles sitting in the car move on

21-Mar-24
The muggles moved on and both frmen1 and I had a good look. Beat us this time

22-Jan-24
Not sure its still there and there were too many muggles in the area to search too closely.

06-Jan-24
Maybe not such a case of DNF, but rather muggled out at GZ. Quite a few walkers, fishermen and picnickers using the area on this sunny Saturday. We will have to try again on our next Tasmanian visit. Thanks for pointing out those marvellous tree carvings.

Nice quick find on a cool morning.

We stopped here to watch a ship come in and had lunch at GZ.
Unfortunately having lunch didn't help us find the cache.
It was a DNF for us.

We stopped here for some morning tea. While enjoying that, we spotted a seal frolicking just off the shoreline. He was having a great time!
Then I checked the app for a possible cache hide. Lo and behold, I was right at GZ. Cache found, log signed and returned. Thanks for the geo-fun.

11-Feb-23
More a could not attempt. While in George Town from 8.30 am to 11.30 am Mrs W visited GZ numerous times, even sitting there an hour but too many parked muggles looking straight at GZ. Not wanting to compromise the cache hide, she will have to return.

Quick find once I was muggle free.

Travelling around Tasmania on our family holiday with TT016, PrincessAria1 & LittleG00sE.
Today we travelled North of Launceston to Beauty Point, Beaconsfield, crossed Batman Bridge, up to Georgetown & Low Head.
We had some time to kill before dinner and the Penguin Tour at Low Head so we stopped and got a couple of caches and a play on the nearby playground.

Another piece of interesting history at this location. Nice easy find. TFTH

15-Jan-23
On the foreshore and admired the interesting wooden carvings. Easy find here of this nano as per hint. Last find and time to head back to the Country club room for the night.

Today we are on the move, heading from Hobart up to Launceston. We decided on a route up across the Highlands and via the Great Lake and the day was cool as 11 degrees at it's lowest and finished the day in mid-30s in Cataract Gorge.

We had a weeks holiday booked in Tasmania as a way of celebrating mrs capperz's 60th birthday. What can I say but WOW. What an awesome state and was everything we'd seen and heard about this gem of a place. My main PQ had only Earthcaches and Virtuals and aside from an old cache for my missing month stats I only turned the GPS on when we were stopping somewhere anyway, what a great way to tour a place. Managed one complete set of Ad Labs at the airport, and started another 6 adventures with no intention to complete. Over 50 'real' caches were completed and left behind a couple of trackables to continue their journeys.
I will upload the associated pictures and answers over the next few days or so, need to start to make a dent in my finds backlog.
Oh, and thanks to all COs for their hides, much appreciated for this New Zealander.

02-Jan-23
Another beautiful spot to relax

01-Jan-23
Lovely view from here, thanks for the tiny cache.

28-Dec-22
The Muggle mate and i timed it perfectly today as the huge Bark-Chip Ship called the Green Emerald silently sailed in with a big tail breeze past the GZ of this cache some 20 minutes after i found and signed it at 13:50 on Wed 28 Dec 2022. (We drove back to watch the ship, took pics aswell)

I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.

The cache owner needs to:

* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.

Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.

Alternatively:

* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.

In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Grumbligrot and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*

The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

We were visiting George Town today to see the car show. After seeing that and having a bit of lunch we went off in search of caches to finish our day.
No luck for us finding this one.

Checked the likely suspect at GZ and couldn’t find it - maybe we are blind Try again next trip!

08-Mar-22
Away for a few days so doing some of the back roads and weaving our way around, picking up some more of the hides, which we haven't got previously.

It was a slightly windy day but we were making the most of it. We had a lovely day taking in some beach and river views and finding some great hide. Had a few DNF's but was very happy to pick up some unloved finds.

I knew where to go for this one, as I have been here before. Couldn't find name in log, so happy to sign it again. The tide was out today, so it was a different view.

Thanks Grumbligrot for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

26-Feb-22
Found it on my second trip to George Town.
Cheers and TFTC

#12692 - 11:17:00 AM; Jumped through all of the hoops and made it to Tasmania for a couple of weeks of R&R with family. Decided on a mission to George Town this morning to tackle the NT Trail, thinking it would be a straight forward run along a quiet country road. WRONG! After a semi successful run, I headed into town to grab a few more as I headed back to base. Spotted this one quickly at GZ and replaced a little more out of view after signing the log. TFTC Grumbligrot Smile

TaurusSix and I had our eye in now and found the cache quickly.

27-Jul-20
Have cached at the monument before but this was a much easier find than the last one.
Had lunch here and it would have been nice to sit outside but it was just too damned windy.
Would have liked to clean up Georgetown [yet again] while we were here but time got away from us and we still had relatives to visit in Beauty Point and needed to get home in time to feed the cattle so I guess we'll have to come back again soon.
Thanks.

15-Jul-20
Muggles around but followed the advice of Lil Rafa and all was sorted. TFTC

04-Jul-20
Thanks for the cache Grumbligrot.
Spending the weekend in Low Head with RLD4963. After a slightly delayed start today (due to hot water issues at our accommodation) we headed out for a day of cacheing.
We stayed here in George Town a couple of years ago, and this one wasn't here then, so it was nice that there was a new one in town for us to look for. A couple of muggles riding by, some walking their dogs, others parked nearby in cars, but we were able to search and make the find by using the structures as they were intended, without anyone the wiser. Thanks for adding to the caches in the area.

04-Jul-20
out and about caching with 1 Lil Rafa in the Low Head Georgetown area, TFTC TNLN log dry easy find with clues this time we had time to tidy up loose ends or caches unfound from our last trip. this was one of them. everything is good at GZ.

02-Jul-20
Caching in the area we found your cache along the way. Very windy and cold today, but made a quick find.

Cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks Grumbligrot for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

09-Jun-20
I had been wanting to get back out to George Town for some time and today seemed a good day to nab some geocaches. This was a nicely placed one and a great little walk along the river.

07-Jun-20
This was the first one we attempted for the day, just as the sun was rising. Unfortunately there were too many muggles about. Our patience was rewarded with an amazing sunset. Tftc!

06-Jun-20
Out for a evening drive with Gridge98 this evening, stopped by this cache and made the quick find. Bloody nanos, a mint tin is much nicer.

Out playing tourist today and since we stopped to look at the view I also of course checked GC... A quick look about soon landed us this little gem. TFTC

10-Mar-20
T-Tech and I are down from Brisbane for a meandering holiday around Tasmania. We flew to Melbourne where we picked up the campervan and spent a day caching there, then took Spirit of Tasmania I to Devonport. Tick that one off the bucket list!

Today we are travelling from Low Head via George Town, Bridport, Scottsdale, Legerwood and Derby to Pyengana. After a quick drive around George Town, we ended up here and stopped for the view. Better get the cache then Razz GPS said over there, but of course we ignored it and searched the more obvious spot first, without a smiley! Soon we went to the right spot, and after being meticulous, had the cache in hand. TFTC, Grumbligrot.

10-Mar-20
Down from Brisbane on hols with IolantheK.

Took a walk out to the lighthouse before it got dark.
