An enjoyable evening walk around the reserve picking up caches on the practice night tour. A great way to spend Saturday night. Thanks for bringing me along.
We spent earlier in the day down in the tunnels with a group of people, then it was time to spend the evening in the dark with another group of people. We put our hands up to join this night Geobash sample tour. Which was a great walk in the dark with torches shining every which way. We split off from the group after the tour and decided to head to this one with a much smaller group. Couldn't leave a greenie on the hill. Cache was found quickly, pity it has seen better days. But log was fine and we were all able to sign and return to the cars. Thanks for the hide Dwarf Exploder
After wandering the hill with a number of others on the tour sample, we all went our separate ways. A couple of us still had this one without a smiley, so we made our way back to it. Located the cache, signed the log and turned it into a smiley.Unfortunately this one is looking a little worse for ware these days however we got the log signed. Thanks for the cache placement Dwarf Exploder
Found with fitzy_1965 on a warm summers afternoon. It was a little bit of a trek but we managed to find our targeted caches. Thanks for placement.
34,023. Found with minniek during our afternoon walk today. Our walk today comprised of this wonderful little reserve down south. While I have cached in here before it was minniek's first time. A nice simple walk along the trail with some gates allowing access to certain caches - awesome. Once at GZ of this one we made a nice quick find on the remains of this one. Shame we never saw it in it's full glory. As usual Dwarf Exploder has come up with a masterpiece. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, took a photo, then continued on to the next cache on the list. Thanks Dwarf Exploder !! Really enjoyed this one.
Saw the biggest red fox near GZ thankfully it soon scattered away when I yelled out hey.... . I was definitely more startled than it was ....l then made my way to GZ to find this cache.
A lovely sunny day in the ACT. all blue skies.
So we took the dog for a walk over Mt Stranger and collected a few caches.
There are some nice views from here, but the cache needs a bit of TLC.
Thanks, Robmc.

I wish I'd come across this cache when it was in its prime. Still plenty of room in the log. But the container has seen better days. TFTC.
Took a detour on our usual run/bike ride to collect a few caches. This was a bit tricky to get to on the bike, but we pushed through, knowing there'd be a cool cache at the end, being a Dwarf Exploder one, and based on all of the favourites. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived at GZ to find the remnants of what was probably something impressive lying in pieces on the ground. We still signed the log, and replaced it where we think it was meant to be, but this cache definitely needs to be repaired. Log signed as "S+C".
Found it 15m from where it was meant to be. It's been destroyed like its been lit up with a fire cracker. Pieces everywhere.
Out for an early morning walk to the summit Mt Stranger before departing Canberra. A quick find here. Lovely views. TFTC!
Was on the other side of the fence but found some fence handles . Very much enjoy the haunted series. TFTC
Over the years of caching you get to know the big guns out there with cache placements, ingenuity and just a personal reward when finding their caches. TE, Farmers5 and DSD to name a few each have great caches and now I have to add Dwarf Explorer to that list. The creativeness of his caches are second to none, and if you’ve got a friend out there who wishes to begin caching, take them to these caches. They’ll become addicted.
After doing DSD mythological series across the river, I decided to end the day behind bonython. I wasn’t disappointed at this cache location with views over the valley, down to the river and beyond to snow clouds in the distance. As for cache, excellent design. Tftc

Stroll over the hills and far away on on very wet windy winter day. All in good condition.
Grateful thanks to CO for placing and maintaining these caches that continue to entertain me on my caching journey.

I'm in Canberra for the June long weekend and of course Geocaching will be apart of it. I picked a couple of areas around that I wanted to find caches at. However, I certainly didn't get to all of them BUT I did find caches else where. I found a mixture of both GC and GA and various different cache types. I visited many places I didn't know about which was full of history, fun and unique scenery. This was one of the many caches I visited and may/may-not have found sometime over the weekend. It was a fun weekend meeting up with friends and caching as much as possible. If I found the cache, a TB visit has been placed on the cache page. I would like to thank all CO's of the caches I found and for allowing them to me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTC's
Ha ha! Clever name, awesome cache, took a photo for the geograndson. Views lovely except that today it is misty and showery but somehow was just right. Thanks for this, I enjoyed.
My first cache of 2021. I'm out with a mob of kids hunting amazing caches. This one certainly qualifies. Thanks, Dwarf Exploder.
Heading down to Tharwa for an event and stopped by to collect GreyHams along the way with a slight detour for a spot of tree fishing. A nice day to be out so was pleasant to spend some time out in the sunshine at the event before heading off for some near by caching at Lanyon. First time to visit Lanyon for me so was an unexpected delight. Lovely location and very much enjoyed exploring the area. A few caches as we past by and an enjoyable afternoon with a variety of caches found, thanks for the cache Dwarf Expoder, loved this cache!
Dove into Lanyon after the event, this is such a fascinating place and loved the history here.
Love it.... fave point for sure

I don't think a hint is needed for this one...you'll know it when you see it, or maybe when it sees you! Monster TFTC!
I’m really loving this series after discovering them only yesterday. A straightforward find, but love all the work that goes into making the caches. Thanks Dwarf Exploder!
Cool cache, cool views. Worth the visit. All good with cache.
Out and about with barb2e and Kittykatch on a lovely arvo. TFTC Dwarf Exploder

Quick find after an uphill walk. Good day to be getting some exercise. Great fun hide. Tftc
Today's main goal was the new adventure lab around Stranger pond. That went smoothly and all the answers were found without any problems.
On my way home I stopped off for some other caches in the area. A walked over from a nearby suburb street and was very impressed by the complexity of the hide. I will have to seek out the others in this series, as I am sure they will all be great fun.
Thanks for the cache Dwarf Exploder

This was a reasonably straight forward find whilst admiring the views along the way. I fooled myself at first by thinking I knew where it would be but checked out the wrong feature. A quick scan of the surrounds showed me where to go and the hide, well it really couldn't be anything else but the cache lol! The hide is brilliant. A great idea and well executed - wish I had brought my grandson with me as he would have loved this one. Bonus for this find is that it is the last one I needed to complete my Finds Hidden By Date stats box - YIPPEEEEEEE!!!!! TFTC and the fun.
This morning's rain put a damper on our Plan 'A' which was to find the ACT's lowest point cache. Plan 'B' involved rock climbing so that too was out of the question. So Plans 'C' & 'D' were hatched that would keep us safer from slipping in the wet. This was Plan 'C' picking up 2 caches and sitting down for lunch around Pt Hut Xiong walking 3.62kms over 1.5hours with just 113m ascent/descent. Plan 'D' following around the Greenway hills walking 3.65kms.
We walked here from Pt Hut Xing so this was fun as it was mainly a 2.5km flat walk until the last 50m up the hill. We found another scary cache camo to admire WOW! TFTC Dwarf Exploder.

In these coronavirus times, the activity of geocaching seems to fit the bill, providing ample fresh air and exercise opportunities. This afternoon, in the company of Elleise, I sought a few caches in and around Bonython and Gordon. This cache was an absolute beauty; the name makes so much sense. It was a straightforward find, being visible from some metres away and on the coordinates. Thank you Dwarf Exploder for installing and maintaining this magnificent cache.
Definitely best views in Tuggeranong. Less than a km from home on the other side of the hill this was a great choice for palindrome day. Great container. FP. Orroral valley fire settling down a little today. TFTC DE.
Found with my mum while clearing out some caches in the Lanyon Valley. This was our last one for the day. Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ. Quite a hot and windy day, not the best conditions for the nearby Namadgi fire. We had a clear view of the huge plumes of smoke at GZ - a photo is attached. There would be impressive views here on a clear day. Awesome hide, love the container, thanks Dwarf Exploder.
Another great one in the series. Parked nearby and wandered over the hill to find this one. Nice views here towards the hills (and the approaching rain).
Thanks,
Thanks,
Nothing like being retired and the weather is not throwing blocks of frozen ice at you – caching time. Trusty geobuddy StrangeTrousers – we stamped the logs with our Kayak Cachers team stamp. We headed out for a bit of fun walking up and down the hills and marvelling at the great cachers out there. Ahhh the views some scary and some beautiful. One of the highlights of the day was seeing a tortoise and making sure it was moved off the road before it became roadkill.
Loved this one a lot - brilliant

#5672 1st for today
Logs signed using our "Kayak Cachers" stamp.
A mixed day weather-wise today. Quite breezy and the temperature varied quite a lot depending on the wind and cloud cover. CC & I were keen to try out some of the new "Haunted Tuggeranong" series, at least those that did not require too much climbing. I think we found a good balance today. I was also keen to plan and use CacheTur for the trip. It's taken quite a bit of learning, but I think I've finally got the hang of it. It should be a fantastic tool for planning future trips.
A fantastic creation. I hope it lasts out here.
Thanks Dwarf Exploder

Found with The Matetrix. Found with The Matetrix. A quick find, hard to hide this one. Appreciate the effort in the preparation, you don't see this too often. TNLNSL TFTC
I LOVE THIS HAUNTED THEME SO VERY CREATIVE, but, we can’t find no. 2where abouts is it located-Charlie
Was nearby doing a lift for a friend and decided I better find a cache whilst here
Was down here the other day and grabbed a quick and easy one, so today I decided to look for something a little bit different.
I spotted this new cache by Dwarf Exploder, and if going by your series's down in Namadgi is anything to go by, I knew I was in for a treat! Already has accumulated a bunch of FP's too!
Parked in the nearby street, jumped a fence and soon arrived at GZ. Took me a minute to spot it for some reason but got a bit of a fright when I did!
Well done another fabulous cache container and effort gone into this, really remind me of your trails! A favourite point from me! Thanks DE

After finding the first two of the series earlier in the week, I was inspired to look for more. I had only half an hour to spare but happened to be driving past and this was a quick find. I was pleasantly surprised by the great view this cache has. Again, the quality of the cache's construction gets a favourite from me. TFTC.
Quick Sunday arvo walk with the dog and made the quick find. Super cool hide with some nice views on the background. Tftc!
A bit of a wander from the previous cache (Haunted Tuggeranong #3) but I soon found myself at gz, and once again facing a meticulously made container. Nice attention to detail, though I did find one part a bit creepy .
Signed log and replaced as found.
TFTC, Dwarf Exploder!

GPS had trouble settling. Had to give up but stumbled onto the cache as I was leaving. Excellent.
Being rather busytoday, I hadn't much time sparefor geocaching today; but I managed a little bikeride down to Gordon to get a few I had thus far passed by.
Having done a few of DE's trails before, I knew the quality of craftsmanship to be looking for here... and I was not disappointed! This one was artfully gross.

Returning from this morning's orienteering in Tidbinbilla, I took the opportunity to grab a few other caches on the way home. As I approached I found I wasn't alone, GLISS! was already searching near GZ. My GPS was pointing 20 or so metres away, so I headed off but then overshot with seeing the cache. As I retreaced my steps I spotted the amazingly created hide. TFTC.

I picked this one as my Bonython cache for the mapping challenge. Not sure if it is suburban enough to count. As I was closing in on the gz, I hearda familiar "Hello" and up walked TikvaNZ. It was TakvaNZ who first spotted the terrific hide. Another fabulous cache from Dwarf Exploder. Have a fav point.
Kids loved it!! What a great cache. Found this one while out collecting other close by. Considering this is #4, we are now inspired to find others in the series! TFTC
A beautiful day to do a few urban caches around south Canberra. What a great cache container !! TFTC.
It was in the line of what I expected to find, seeing who the CO was , but that tongue was 'something' else ! TFTC Dwarf Exploder.
Great name for the cache .
Hopefully it will never be accidentally found .
The eye of the beholder had top views of the mountains as well .
A fav tick for the craftsmanship,
Views of the mountains and well blended colour hide at the location .
Many thanks to Dwarf Exploder .

Wow!!! Such a great cache! Really enjoyed the find, and the geokids got a nice surprise! Thank you!!
Chooo ooo [FTF] on a mild winters evening. I wasn't going to head out tonight, due to being in the process of dinner, but this one was too close to let go! So headed off. Luckily only a short bush walk and quickly made the find! Now I don't usually give favourite points for fancy containers, but this one was so good, I couldn't resist! Love it, so a favourite from me! Thanks Dwarf Exploder!
