Logs
Little geo man at it again with the find, new log in a water proof baggie as log is soaked, put back with new log. wiped out container of water, signed log, kids took the wet stickers. TFTC placed back as found
Log soaked, could not sign. I didnt have spare paper or ziplock bag to replace it. Sorry!
What a magnificent tree! While we were admiring it, the Eagle eyed Goldberry17 spied it, had it out, and was just about back to the car before we even realised what was going on. TFTC.
The tree was majestic and its leaves very spiky indeed. Log is wet and full - sorry I didnt have a replacement log with me. TFTC
A quick find here today thankfully. Visiting my grandfather who resides a couple of hundred metres up the road :O. TFTC!
We nearly fenced ourselves in looking for this cache due to the abundant needles. Tftc
I've just been next door to visit some relatives, an odd experience as I've never been before and I wasn't sure what to do or feel. It was nice to see such beautiful grounds and that people are care to remember our history through the people who meant something to them. But with that done I thought I could fit in a cache, especially one so conveniently placed, before heading to work for the afternoon. I parked within metres and began my search. I haven't come across a Bunya for a while. Lovely spiky leaves for which the evolutionary imperative isn't immediately obvious, although they've been around since the dinosaurs so they must've done something right. Mind you don't get hit by a falling cone, they get as big as bowling balls and nearly as heavy.I found the cache quickly - it was either going to be on my left or my right and I couldn't see it to my right. But then a ute pulled over almost next to me as I was signing the log (which is still a little damp). I waited a few minutes until I thought they were looking at their phone and not the odd person on the side of the road before replacing the cache and moving swiftly on.Off to work, starting with lunch, in Avoca. I'm there all week so hopefully will find a few more caches.
Easy find for the little geocacher Left some stickers and a trinket as it was looking a little empty
Great little cache to find with the kids. Sturdy shoes are a must to prevent the spiky droppings.
This was a nice little cache I was thankful for the close parking and as I was walking around to GZ, although it was only a shout walk over, I just couldnt help myself from admiring the area all around me. Im here visiting from Canberra, and the scenery is sooo different from home.I took a moment to admire the big tree before focusing on finding the cache, and luckily I could see it slightly smiling through the leaf litter on top, so I didnt have to do much digging to get to it. I only had to move minimal tree droppings to get to the cache and cover it back up on return, but as per the tip in the description, I did get a few small pokes, as if they were gently reminding me that they were not to be messed with. The area is beautiful out here, and I dont often see trees of this size / type back where Im from, I was quite intrigued with the spiky, spiralled leaves it drops. Thanks for the cache!
I stopped here a few years back, but when I saw that GZ was covered in blackberry bushes, I moved on with no intention of ever returning. I was, however, passing by today and saw that all the bushes were gone and that the area around the big tree was pretty clear ... so I stopped and made a quick find. Luckily, the cache had been found recently so it wasn't buried under pine litter.
TFTC and a nice quick find on my way down to see my granddaughter all dressed up for her year 10 formal.
Easy find with Spartman and gambella. Thats an amazing tree with an amazing girth. Ta
Did get spiked, spotted the tin and the cup before CIH, cheers for the hide.
Wow awesome hide friend found four today. This one was tricky with all the prickles. On the outside fenceline, no need to dig too deep.TFTC
Thanks for the hide lucky there are lots of sticks to dig around with cache in good order
yes very spiky needed to review past activities to help locate it
logged the find thanks for sharing this beautiful tree with us ️

The only thing we managed to find was a big ass turd. Unfortunately, when we came across that we stopped looking. #traumatised.
No luck today, we thought we moved every pine needle we could but just couldnt find it, assuming we were looking in the right spot.
Looked for this one often when we come to visit nearby. Finally ticked this one off. Thanks for your contribution to geo caching
DNF ?? atleast I had fun riding here.Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
Searched all foliage and after many stab’s from the sharp branches did not find
Had a pretty decent look and couldn’t find this one. Was on my own though so might try again another time.
No cache for us - having a better read of logs on the PC, although we scanned through OK, may not have focused on the right spot as much as we should have.... it was damp, spiky, dirty and rubbish strewn though. We'll drop back another day once we see some finds/maintenance.
Quick stop in here while visiting the family’s nans grave. Those pine needles here aren’t kind on those wearing thongs! Strategically placed tree litter was a true tale on a geocache hide. Enjoyed the hide. Hated the pine needles!!

Happy new year! Found with MrsCowell23, and the warnings about the trees weren't kidding - these things go straight through clothing without effort.
Found it with Laimelde. Got a spiky thing stuck in my little toe, and bled while looking for this one. I advise wearing closed footwear! Thanks!
Looked for a while before finding this one. Definitely a few pricks along the way before signing. Thanks for the cache
Thanks, that was our first time starting geocaching. Glad we were able to find it
A quick stop and finding. I was lucky to look the right place! Ouch!!
Thanks GeoMonster10 for placing c.a.r.e.s 3!

Found it!
My car has a dodgy battery and it died again this morning (it's getting serviced this week!), so what better way to charge it than to drive around caching!
I left the car idling near GZ and began my search. Soon I spotted the familiar colour of a cache - but the next challenge was - how do I get to it?! The hint and previous logs certainly weren't lying!
With a bit of manoeuvring, I was able to retrieve the cache, sign the (damp) log, drop a TB, and rehide.

Dayboro trip. Day 2. After an evening being lulled to sleep by the roar of traffic, I was up with the sun and ready to head further north. The Sydney Toll roads make the whole place disappear and Newcastle was in sight. I stopped as I could on the way targeting about 10 caches for the day. My plan to stay at Port Macquarie was stymied by the flooding, so I ended up at Waughope. The road past Taree showed no signs of being wet or damaged, so just a speed limit to show for all the drama.
Plenty of signs of water, but the cache has survived, the ground cover is as sharp as ever.
Thanks.

#7475 (2 of 2 today)
Up on the Central coast today for Christmas with friends, but let's be honest, I can't pass up the chance to grab a few caches up here...
I was also after a few calendar finds today, so decided I'd sneak away during that post-lunch lethargy that often descends after a good feed, and grab two finds.
Had three possible candidates, and once I was unsure of one during my drive-past, I had my two targets.
Got both. HUZZAH!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Quick and easy one here - and not the first in the series I've grabbed either.
Parked over the road and walked to GZ. Once the metres had counted down I spotted what looked like camo. And it was.
Time to head back and see who is still awake!

TFTC, a nice distraction after laying my grandmother to rest and paying respects to all those previously lost. Time to head back home to Queensland.
A day off work, what better way to spend it then geocaching.
Great location, TFTC

Sounds like I was in for something spikey! Wasn't sure at first how I was easily going to search through all the organic (spikey) material when the GPSr pointed a few metres away where I could see the cache. No worries. Signed log and replaced as found - with some spikey covering. TFTC!
Thought we found it a few times before we actually did - a lot of bottles and general rubbish that looked like it could have been the geocache. Found after 5 mins!
Found in the dark at the end of an eventful day which included 3 of some of the oldest caches still active in nsw
