Working my way to Canberra for the four day mega event. Meeting up with people along the way and doing a few caches of my own. I got a myself set up for a couple of target caches around Sydney way and the out skirts of town, this was one of them.Wow i am glad i got here earlier in the day. I had to come back past or through here on my way south later n the day and was stopped by Bulldogfans going to the game. The infamous Belmore was putting it on today and it was packed. Awesome to see however I had plans so couldn't stay. Thanks for the cache and the hide and the walking I did here, lol.
Quick find. Worried about spiders though but it was fine. I would expect difficulty to be more of a 2 though. TFTC
Well you never look sus when scratching places not sure what you're going to find !Ha ha Took a few minutes with muggles and reading previous logs for hintsTFTC
Quick find so I wouldnt say its D4.5 or T2! I DO prefer correctly rated ones so geocachers could feel satisfied with seriously difficult ones after much effort beforehand. A nearby DT 1.5 rated cache was more difficult for me. With TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck and Pittiplatsch in tow.
Found after the nearby event made a couple of laps surveying the area till I ventured in
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache bushnoob and for Oh Purple One now looking after it

I thought this would be a completely different hide but I found it rather quickly in the blistering afternoon sun today. TFTC
Had to wait about 15 minutes for a pair of muggles to leave who were, of all things, practicing their fencing next to GZ. But a quick find once they were gone. TFTC
Grabbed this one during half time at the NRLW match today. Tigers won again. Nice to have a Tigers team I can watch win!!!
Had to run an errand down this way this evening. I knew this cycle way existed back to the Cook River and stopped for this one on route. Very dark, a little misty and zero people allowed for a reduction in D and for me to get in good position to make this find. Thanks for sharing this location Purplepeopleater #2049
Eventually just had to bite my tongue and shove my hand in, but it was actually okay. Not sure if the difficulty needs to be so high

Quiet day about and it made the hunt easier. Found high and dry with not too much trouble. Go the doggies! TFTC

Streak Day #3617 - Over this way with Dave8153, took a couple of mins but we found it and was a quietish area today. TFTC
I'm down to just a few squares in my DT grid so have been eyeing this one for some time, not sure if I have ever caught the train so far down this line before . It was lunch so I was surprised there weren't more people relaxing in this nice park. Couple of joggers, couple of jog walkers. I felt OK hunting at GZ, soon had the cache in hand, or should I say 'a' cache, from other logs it sounds like there may be more than one?? Anyway I signed and replaced the cache as found. Glad to tick this off, and also glad to get out for a wander and go for a stroll in a previously unexplored area. TFTC!
Was able to visit Mecca in lunch today and knew what I needed to do and hence a nice quick find.
I've been here before but on game day it is a bit hard to be looking! I have some great memories here and continue to visit- haven't missed a home game back at Belmore in the recent era.

Came down to Sydney today to attend 2 CITO events. Been wanting this one for an age, as it fills a spot on my DT grid for my first loop. So in between events, i drove here, and soon found a park, glad there was nothing on at the oval. Soon found gz, and seeing there is not much more there, i investigated the location thoroughly, and soon had cache in hand. Actually i found 2 containers. The original, and a replacement by a new CO. Now i cannot remember which one i signed. LOL. TFTC.
I noticed the trio of high difficulty caches in this area and decided I wanted to attempt them before heading out of Sydney and back to Canberra!
This was the first one I parked at, but someone was literally using the structure it was hidden on as a workout tool. So walked straight past and attempted the one at the other side first which I ended up having no luck with.
After spending a long time on the other cache I was finally back here and the place was free! Although the workout lady was still doing laps of the park, but no longer at this spot
Managed to find this cache with relative ease, retrieving it proved to be the challenge but with some determination it was achieved and replaced as found
TFTC bushnoob! Glad to have found 1/3 caches! (the last one I didn't end up attempting, as I tried to park closer but gave up looking for a parking spot, oops!)

Found myself in doggy territory and found this cache too after doing a few doggy moves which must have had some of the passing muggles worried. Thanks bushnoob.
Down in Sydney for work today picking up a car from the nearby auction house. My colleague drove it back after a brief carpark service check-over while I came over here for another look after my DNF some time ago. It was nice to find a geocache today; something that has not really been possible for some time due to a myriad of unforeseen events and setbacks, apparently defining the year that is 2022. It has been very frustrating to not even be able to get out for the recent geocaching world record and so I am very much looking forward to seeing the other side of all this and getting back to signing some logs! After the find here I went on westward along Canterbury road to pick up some supplies for the new vehicle... but I digress yet again! TFTC, bushnoob/ PPE.

11047 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Nana Nell and Wazza9 at 1100. on our urban caching drive to pick up some of the GC caches and some LGA's. Wet trousers today with all the water about.SL Tnx bushnoob
TFTC,
Working on a personal challenge with Nana nel to lift our found on every day count to 10 per day. For this date Nana needed 5 and I needed 3. We knew that 3 previous DNF's in the area were adopted and probably in good condition under the new CO so caching in this area would probably be good to us. 5 finds and 1 DNF, thanks to the CO's who take care of their caches.
Don't think I looked in that spot last time. Didn't have gloves and am happy that a stick was available to help me with retrieving the cache. Visited trackables.

Found with wazza9 on a beautiful sunny morning. Stamped log and replace. Thanks to CO.
My son and I had planned a memory day as my mothers day present but had to change our plans to no hills or steps , As he hurt his ankle. So I decided to start our day at this cache as it filled a DT grid space I needed. I came prepared with gloves and had read past logs. There were no muggles around as it was early in the morning. So I was able to get down low and search methodically and surprisingly made a quick find. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Being a Parramatta fan, I have never ventured into this part of deep dark Dogs territory. Found after a long search. Made sure I wore gloves as a quick peak revealed a mob of red back spiders lurking about.

Wow,
Not saying it isn't there, just that it was too good for us if it is there. What started as a good start the day soon went bad with 3DNF's in a row and only 4 finds from 9 attempts.
I have been set a personal challenge by another cacher to lift my every day finds to 10 per day.
To complete this by the end of 2022, I have about 60 days that I must cache on and need to get up to 6 caches on the worst day. Since my local area has been almost cached out, it is necessary for me to travel to new areas or areas I have not cached in for some time. Unfortunately, my success rate is in the hands of the CO's maintaining their caches. An hour drive each way today for a les than 50% result will not bring me back in a hurry to this area.

For the second time today I feel like I need to rebrand as TheWimpyCacher because I gave it a red hot crack but the threat of a spider bite was too much for me
No joy for the tribe here today. Got down and dirty but still nothing. Stuck fingers in all kinds of places too. Will keep an eye on this one as it fills a nice hole in my DT grid. Maybe next time.
The fence that was preventing access is gone, but despite donning my caching gloves, and running my hands all along the relevant areas, I still can’t find it.
With the lack of finds, perhaps the CO might check up on it.

The Sydney electricity nazis have put a construction fence around this location while they take three weeks to change a light bulb.
Had a good look in a suspect spot but surrounded by fence made it hard to reach will come back at a later date
Winning!! Even gated off Master 13 and Miss 9 slid under, felt around and Mr 13 took his second find for the day! Great work!! Tftc
bushnoob I found your cache Dog Day Afternoon on 14/10/20, 11:10 am. This is my find 2761 and find # 2 today. No one around so a thorough search could be done. Eventually found it. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Slowly heading back home after my annual-ish day of finding solved puzzles and other selected caches specifically in the eastern suburbs. Boy is it annoying driving around Sydney (says the guy from the cenny coast). No one at GZ and in these COVID times I guess there won't be for a while even dogs BUT there was this one woman just standing at the box office the whole time which looked kinda weird and made it hard to do my work. But I got to it anyway but even with some fairly specific TOTTs I came up zip. Bah!

now that was tricky and only my longer nimble fingers feeling around sight-unseen could locate anb retrieve the little blighter. TFTC
Spent a good amount of time getting really dirty. I don’t believe the cache is where it should be.
Looked all around for a while then stepped back to think and there it was on the grass. Replaced it to where I think it should be. TFTC bushnoob
Found with Ris768 for the daily cache thanks bushnoob for placing this cache

Lucky footy season has now finished, so no one was around so we were able to do a proper search and wasn't long CIH TFTC
Was after a few caches to up my calendar finds today.
Noticed one cache not too far from home which was still unlogged. There are some other caches in that direction. That'll do.
Got the First2Find - even though I was second on the scene - but a previous DNF still confounded me.
Grabbed four in the end.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I'm clearly missing something here as the only thing I can spot are redbacks - which rather dampens my enthusiasm for sticking my fingers everywhere.
And today it's hot lying on the asphalt.
So not today.

Heading back and we had a small window of time to have a hunt. Seeing this was close and a short detour away we headed over. Limited muggles and a bit of hint around on the likely object before making the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
A late Sunday afternoon caching walk saw us outside the home of the Bulldogs. Good thing it wasn’t a game day, some horizontal searching was required. Nice hide. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Brought the geodoggie to see the Bulldoggies for IGD. The area is very familiar as I had a GCA night cache in this park. The T rating concerned me and when looking at the hint, I think I can see what the CO may have originally been thinking, but that’s not what I found when I arrived. I decided to follow the lead of some other finders and go for the down low option and the cache was quickly in hand. Nice container! Thanks for placing bushnoob.
Started with a 5 km run along Cooks river and mounted my bike for a total of almost 30 km to find lots of caches along the river/canal/stormdrain. Al were find quite quick and easy. A few more quick stops on the way home

After a few finds today, so thought I'd try a few new placements down south. I went for four, but was majorly muggled out of one.
But the other three were relatively easy finds - OK one took longer than it should due to flaky coordinates.
And I got a short bush walk in on one of them. Good day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Soooooooo muggled out here.
Arrived to quickly determine the location of GZ, and just as quickly spotted the personal trainer right nearby.
Hoped he'd finish his lesson if I took a nice walk around the area, but when I got back he had more victims than before!
So gave it up and headed to my next target.

Way too wet to do a low down and dirty search, so after getting my trousers soaked I gave up.
I was going to do this by train today but in the end decided to drive over here.
Plenty of parking very close to GZ, and I could see where I was heading but I could also see hundreds of high school muggles streaming out of the stadium. They played 'chicken' with my geomobile while I tried to park, much stress for me and the teacher.
Finally parked, muggles gone so I walked over to what was obvioulsy GZ.
Quick check and I had CIH.
Don't think that's a D4, maybe if you come at the wrong time but you'd work that out before coming here surely.
All signed and replaced. A different container!

Tftc. Just on dark and not many people around on a quiet Saturday. Obviously not game day! Only took a couple of minutes to feel it.
Was here a few weeks back for the Doggies game against the Storm...they lost. Oh well, today I won. TFTC!
After having found the newly published cache nearby, I then headed over to this one. Parked near gz and then it was just a short walk over to the obvious at gz. But where was the cache? Read the hint, which didn't help. After a search, and then a bit of help, I got down and dirty and soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and replaced it all as found. Then it was back to the car and on home. I hope that the Dogs don't have a dog day afternoon today. TFTC

Not really the type of dogs that I’m interested in but a lovely park.
A man doing TaiChi but not many others about today.
Started to panic when we missed this on the first sweep but soon after had CIH

My second visit to my old stomping ground in a week. And for an old Doggies fan it's like heading back to Mecca. I wouldn't be wanting to try this on game day though. After circling GZ, I soon had the lowdown on the hide and it was CIH. No Doggies about this time of the afternoon, though I wish I had brought my Aussie Shepherd along as she naturally supports the Bulldogs. I'm hoping they start to show some resilience on the field again soon. TFTC
2tf!! I just happend to be around for dinner and didn't know that there were so newly published caches
