QEF. Hint was amusing to two recent divorcees Luckily the cache isn't in the centre console of my car!
Inside the cache was wet so I tried to dry it a bit. The log was dry in the little bag though. Thankyou. No time to look for the others on the path today. I will be back.
Impromptu walk with my sis and niece Siegelfamnz and our geo-kuri trying to turn this cycleway yellow About 10 years ago I started out my geocaching adventure from the other end of this walk with a couple young kids in tow. Theyve grown up and left home and here I am doing it again but with more fervency lolNice find, love the name and the hint! Mihi ki a krua, Etherlord me the Seagnoid, mo te keteroki #208Cute hint cute swag
On my way to Hastings, doing some side quests Nice little walk to get out of the car for some time.Found it on the way backTFTC#823
There was a trackable that had been lost for many many years from the UK and just recently appeared in a cache in New Zealand. I called ZL2SGA and he was keen to a quite look as well, so off we went. I went and got the trackable and took some photos of it for the owner. All good with the container, easy find by ZL2SGA and returned back.
Got picked up by Dad&Kids to get some caches before work, Nice walk by the river before work. TFTC cheers ZL2SGA
Once again I am spending the weekend in Wanganui, and once again I have a Saturday afternoon free. Today I was prepared. I needed one more day of 50+ find to complete one part of the DGSc Challenge, and so today I was to focus on clearing out the Feilding area. An I did (mostly) thanks to a large number of recently published high quality hides, and a beautiful summers day. I had a lot of fun, spending ten hours floating around the region and gathering up Geocaches. Here's one I found.I had done the northern end of this trail back in June last year, and so today was about finishing the set from the Southern end. All caches were found as described, safe and well.---Thanks to Etherlord and the Seagnoid for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

The original plan was for this to be the last cache find of a longer walk. Potential weather issues encouraged me to change the plan and I ended up getting to this cache by way of a much shorter walk from a different starting point. I am afraid I am not knowledgeable enough to associate the cache name and hint with anything I saw at ground zero. However, I did track down the whereabouts of the cache without difficulty.
Went for a short bike ride this morning and picked up a few caches we hadn’t previously found along this trail. Took a moment or two to locate this one. Still not quite sure of the meaning of the hint. #6338. TFTC.
SkyCraneKid and EtherLord are out on an afternoon bike ride doing some long overdue maintenance along this cycleway.

Mrs Geckoh dropped me off at the intermission end and off I went, arrived at GZ and soon realised what the cache title was referring to, nice quick find here, thank you!

Took a few minutes hunting around the GZ to find. Figured I knew what the hint was pointing to but didn’t find until I was about to give up. Cache was nice and dry
Took the geohound for a bike ride in Ashurst this morning for something different. He is usually pretty good off the lead next to the bike but some mischief was on the cards for today. Came across some horses out on a walk which the hound was not interested in

2nd of the day and a nice quick find. I had decided to run and cache at the same time. So it was good to have a quick find to not break up the rhythm. TFTC.
As I approached this turn around point of my walk I wondered (and wandered) what the cache name meant but soon spotted the digits and the find was then a nice quick one. Cheers Thomas.
With Winter rapidly approaching (2 days time!) and a wet forecast for the week ahead, I was keen to get out and stretch my legs a little in a local area. I've been wanting to head back to the Manawatu Gorge walks especially with a Geotour enticer, as well as a couple of heavily FP'd options there too. Has been a few years since I've been out this way, around 8 and a half years so interesting to see what's going on in the gorge road replacement.
As it was we had our second heavy frost in the last couple of days so a cold start to the day, but things soon warmed up once I was heading upwards on the Tawa Loop (and a little beyond) before heading to the Herb Farm ad lab series, then a walk alongside the wonderful Manawatu River for a few more of the trail of caches along from the Ashhurst end, quality not quantity wins out with these.
As it was a healthy 14kms walked and time for some retail chores before heading home, thanks to all COs again.

This is a great hidden cache. Originally found last year on the account JoeyGE0 but now have made my own account also signed as JoeyGE0.Thanks Etherlord Clan for the Traditional cache! I replaced the cache back to its original spot.Logged on 31/03/23 at 5:39 PM72th find. Thank you for spending your time to put this cache out and to make geocaching more fun.
Enjoying a nice bike ride along here, hardly anyone around, and a lovely sunny day. Another fun cache, cheers
Seems to be a very quiet bike track. Luxury to have the place to ourselves as our bikes are stopped more than they are started. Cache is all good. TFTC
As I have walked this trail I have been surprised to find it largely deserted, having only seen 1x cyclist and 1x tractor. However, as I continue on I wonder if it due to the lack of scenery, especially here as I pass the shingle plant. Luckily I had the geo-app to distract me All good here. TNLNSL TFTC
We decided on a break from farm work and to run some errands in Palmy so thought we'd pick up some caches as well
Time for a bit of a walk. We parked up near here and were soon at GZ.
We left a home made rattll coin
Thanks for setting this up

Had grabbed most of this series from the other end on a previous trip. Today grabbed the two at this end while in the area. Thanks for the cache.
Found with Cympull. Got soaked tho in a heavy downpour. Stood under the hand to try and keep dry!!, TFC
The Manawatu region is now in Alert Level 2, which means we can now go geocaching again. Yippee!

with being a long weekend we decided on another trip to the Manawatu.
we based ourselves in Ashurst. with lots of caches around the general area.
main idea was to complete the 20/20 series which we had all the solves for now, plus anything else.
we checked ourselves into local pub, arriving just with enough time to have a couple of beers.
plan today head up thr valley one side back down the other.
caches all in fairly good order.
thanks to the owners for the placements.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Roaming around the wide open spaces of the Manawatu this weekend. We’ve had the caching brakes on for far too long, and it’s a weekend to cut loose.
It’s a new day and a chance to knock off some hides we’ve had our sights on… This riverside trail was an easy stroll for the most part. Each of the caches we found offered something novel and different. You can always tell when a trail is popular by the well worn geotrails through the grass. Thanks Etherlord and the Seagnoid and TFTC.

My geocaching outing in summer try to incorporate my favourite actives. Cycling/Swimming/ Walking/Smileys. Today was no different. Returned here to complete the last 5 caches that I haven’t done including one sad face. Parked up at the Southern end and got the bike out. Thankfully found all of them without too much difficulty. Got back to find a path down to the river and a lovely place to swim. Thanks for the fun.
I went to sleep last night at Hunterville around 9pm getting too tired to drive safely. Woke up this morning outside The Etherlord camp in Palmerston North. Went for a walk with The Etherlord kids, to come snag and tag this one. Cheers. Catch you all againg soon. Time to head south.
Day 19 - Tuesday 5 January 2021 -Palmerston North - Wellington - the final leg of our geotrip today. Stopped off at Whitirea Park for a couple of TMGTs to round of the trip.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are off on another geocaching escape over Xmas, this time to the mighty Coromandel, then over to Opotiki and stop off at Rotorua to return home on 5 January. Had an fabulous time exploring many wonders of our country. Rounding up over 400 caches along the way, with a few LABS, 20 odd TMGTs, virtuals and lots of interesting earth caches to keep the mind busy. Watching the sun come up on New Years Day at Mt Maunganui was spectacular. Lots of walking and even more driving. But had an awesome time. Thanks to all COs who made this adventure so special.

Last day of the trip. I am driving for a change, so I decide to stop in Palmerston North last night to see the Etherlord Clan. This morning there is time for a little cache maintenance before heading out. I come out here to check on a cache of mine and along the way saw that this cache had been squeezed in so the dragon and I stopped to sign the log before moving on. I remember another cache here, that was sneaked in when we were first laying this series, nice to see it has joined the team!
Taybeedragon and I went on a tour of the Coromandel - of of the few places of New Zealand, especially of Te ika a Maui, that I have yet to explore throughly, and from there along the coast to Opotiki to see one of my many, many sisters. From 18 December to 5 January we found over 400 caches, including 12 adventure labs, 20 or so TMGTs and a host of virtuals and earthcaches. And I hosted an event to see the sun come up on New Year's day - surprisingly popular given that it was at 5am. We climbed a lot of hills, saw some amazing beaches that were quite popular despite (or because of) the insane access to them, walk and lot of bush, entered and explored 8 gold mines and generally had an awesome time. However I am glad to be back, but now is the hard part, and I fear it will take just as long - logging! I filled an entire notebook full of notes...

Continuing along the cycleway with newbie maggiesmum and Maggie. This was the second cache she found. It's threatening to rain but on to the next one.
Out and about today with limited time so I am only going to targeting two caches This one has been annoying from some time as I had already found all of the caches along this walkway a while back only to have a new one pop up leaving a non smiley face glaring at me taunting me to go and find it So here I am , lucky for me it was near the start of the walkway so it was not to far to walk just to get a single cache
The next time I am out here in Ashurst my plan is to finish off all of the traditional caches here and the multi not to sure about the mystery though
Thanks for the cache

Thanks for this cache, great to get another smiley face. Cache quickly found, signed and replaced as found. A lovely easy walk along this part of the river. TFTC
I had a job to do in Palmy and knowing some of team bop (McJandals) were down here decided we needed to team up and do a few caches before heading home. Tftc
was in the Manawatu and got the call from part of the team (Team BoP) who were on a quick day trip, a spur of the moment trip as one of our members had a job to do in Palmy so in the van we went trying to clear some of our previous un-found caches and some others as well.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

I last biked this trail back in 2013 and collected all the available caches then. Since then two green boxes have been sitting for too long amongst the smileys. Today was the day. I biked with a friend from the city and thoroughly enjoyed this country ride in bright winter sunshine. As per usual my non-geocaching friend found it first. All good here, thanks Etherlord and the Seagnoid.
New to caching and this is the second one I’ve found. I’ve looked for about 6 so far! This one was nice and easy, like the name and the hint.
My parents live nearby and was going to continue along the track to find the others however I was woefully unprepared - jandals, no hat or sunblock on a scorching hot day so I turned around. Another day! Tftc!

#11,718. A short walk on the Bridal Path in Ashhurst. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. But unfortunately, Kiwi Tiki Tour – Purple was not in the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

I've only just noticed that the hide dates for the caches on this trail have quite a spread of dates having previously assumed it was created in one hit. What made me notice was the comparatively few finds on this cache by virtue of it being relatively new. After some quite devious hides I was surprised to find this in the place I checked first. TFTC.
TFTC.. Pretty quick find, in a nice little spot.. Surprised haven't seen anyone else on the path yet.
Needed a cache for our 'at least two caches per month since August 2013' streak to continue and so while out on a trip to purchase a 'real' Christmas tree we made a detour out this way. We were the only car at the road end when we arrived and wandered down the track to GZ to make a quick find. Passed a couple of dog walkers on the way back and after popping down to the river we came across a group of cyclists that appeared to be looking for something nearby. Turns out that they were looking for the nearby cache - nice to meet you. TFTC.
Found with gpetone on a cycle ride around the urban and rural areas of Palmerston North and Ashhurst. TFTC
Thanks Etherlord Clan for placing this cache
This was a quick find with TeamFuldyGeo on a hot afternoon before the cool front came thru
As I forgot to take my anti-histamine I won't be going much further on this trail today... the grass is very long at the moment!

Ah, once one of us worked out an exact meaning for the name the cache was as good as sorted. TFTC .
A very handy hint and before long I had the cache in hand.
A very cute little teddy was hiding inside, I left him for another.
Thanks for getting me out to enjoy this walk

thanks for the cache and another smiley face.

I enjoyed my walk along here this morning. I had to endure the odd shower of rain along the way, but that didn't worry me too much. Lots of interesting hides kept the interest up. Cheers and TFTC
Decided to get up early this morning and try and Solve the Mystery at the Museum, having a few caches to get, I was deciding on a few options, but options being thin and far between, it was time to go to greener pastures. Having a few more caches to get in this area a plan was hatched and it was time to go and pick up the remaining caches to see if I could solve this Mystery.
After finding GC6BJVF - Bibliophile's Delight (Manawatu), it was time to make my way back into civilisation, got a text from watcache and she said that she was in the area, so decided to cache up and go for a short walk and pick up this cache.
Decided to find a safe parking spot at the entrance to this cycleway and from there it was not too far from GZ, it was just a matter of tracking down where this cache was going to be, arriving at GZ it only took me a few seconds to find and after track down the cache in the most obvious spot.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced it back as found. Thanks Etherlord and the Seagnoid for placing this cache here and for bringing me back to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (14623). Will need to come back here another time to pick up the last cache on this trail, but will park at the other entrance.
Now it is time to make my way back to the car and to the next cache on my list another cache closer to solving the mystery. Now where to next ......

what a lovely day to stroll along this area quick find signed the log then back to the car. TFTC
Very quick find here today had great company getting this cache yeetrees found the cache we signed the log cache all good here today tftc we trying to get caches for the mystery of the museum challenge still a few to get yet. Tftc
This cache held just the clue we needed to complete our gathering up of the stolen gems in the Mystery at the Museum.
Besides that today was a good day for a stroll along the river cycle-path. We had previously, on two or three visits going out and back, gathered all of this trail, but of course there were now two newer replacements. Today, just the short walk would suffice to get what we needed - but did that suffice when another cache awaited further on?! Of course not, so our short walk extend to halfway along the trail and back again, so we walked the full length!
We appreciated the title and hint here - an interesting application. There were no problems with the cache and we added a White Bear TB, who would no doubt appreciate getting out of town. TFTC

This was a start of a full day caching trip from New Plymouth to complete the next two souvenirs for the Mystery at the Museum.By the end of day, soon after sunset we had managed to complete the souvenirs. Thanks to all the CO's who gave us that opportunity. We still have half this cycleway/walkway to do after a previous visit a while ago. Again we walked it. This particular cache was a straightforward find. Tftc.
Out of hibernation and a road trip was in Order so the team came down from taranaki to do some detective work for the museum thanks for the stroll along the river TFTC a gem of a cache
