In the NT for the first time ever for a conference and Im presenting today - inside this building. Just enjoyed a smoking ceremony here and managed a selfie with my unique item - a copy of my presentation for today. Fingers crossed! Thanks for highlighting this great place.
A nice easy virtual cache, found on our way in to Darwin from our cruise ship. Please see attached photograph as proof of visit. Greetings from Newcastle, England. TFTC
Thank you for the cache. Meerana and Andy_Cayoon from Germany.
Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. Many thanks to corunnaroad for this cool virtual.Best regards, searchersab
A quick 5 day trip to Darwin included finding this cache. This is my first trip to the northern territory and is my final state / territory in Australia to visit. The weather was certainly different to Tasmania. It is great to explore another part of Australia.
After 26 hours of travel from Austria in Europe we arrived at Darwin. We are staying in a hotel at waterfront. After dinner we walked around and I came to the header of this virtual. Thanks a lot. And I leave a FP.
A quick week away with a staunch muggle. Getting what I can or making it up as I go! Put some pain relief in so I could get on with walking. This was easy enough. thank you for the smile. Tyftc
We kwamen hier langs tijdens een wandeling door Darwin. Leuke plek bij Darwin Waterfront. TFTC.
A photo of Lyn is attached with the sculpture and Convention Centre. Thanks to corunnaroad for the cache.
Fun find. I only had to wait for a passerby to come and take the required photo. TFTVC
Getting warm now on my sojourn around the cbd and waterfront. I came here last night to eat at Snapper Rocks. Thanks for the cache corunnaroad
Just back from a bombing of Darwin tour, lunch and a look through the RFDS and saw this cache was handyTFTC

TFTC! Did some exploring on my city day on my first ever visit to the territory! I hope to be back soon!
I visited this Virtual cache on a trip north from Adelaide for a few weeks with Freddo. Its always nice to be able to do these city caches on a weekend when the parking is easy and there are less people about. Thanks corunnaroad for the cache. A favourite point from me for a straightforward Virtual with a simple photo logging requirement.
That is a nice art piece.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the twentieth and ninth day of Julius Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a cool cloudy and raining. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. TFTC,Day 2 in the area, continuing to find and log some older NT placed caches and Challenge caches.Visited trackables.
On this beautiful sunny day, it was lunchtime, we came down to the harbour, found this virtual, photo taken. Thanks to CO for bringing us here.
All lot of the features in this area have appeared since I was last in Darwin. I was on my way to the wharf to get barra and chips. I stopped by this incomplete sphere and followed the instructions. Interesting feature. Not quite an ominous orb, more like an otherworldly ovum.TFTVC
Went geocaching with a friend I never knew geocached, oops. Great view of the waterfront!
Found, and photo taken, visiting Darwin on a cruise ship, got to do a few caches and an AL
As per the cache requirements, I've uploaded a photo of myself standing underneath "Fragment" with the Convention Centre in the background. This cache provided a refreshing twist on the usual virtual cache experience, allowing for a deeper appreciation of both art and architecture.
We are about to depart on an adventure on the train from Darwin to Adelaide, with a 6-day break in Alice Springs. Our journey starts with a stop at the convention center to register for the train, so we were able to snatch a photo for this virtual. So exciting!Greetings from San Francisco and thanks for the virtual.
SM325 and I are on a bucket list trip to New Zealand and Australia. This is our first time here and we are having a blast. We traveled here from Ohio, USA. The scenery has been magnificent! We are staying at the Adina Vibe which is very close to this cache. We loved our evening walk to get this one. TFTF!
Mrs. Amazing and I are on a three week trip in New Zealand and Australia as part of our bucket list. This is one of the geocaches we got along the way. It definitely gets a favorite point from me. Thanks so much for putting this one out as well as feeding my insatiable addiction!
We are from Switzerland...and we travel all states and Terrotories of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and travel afterwards. Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today and to make out of that green ones Smilies . We are in Darwin the third time ..and we walked a lot today a second time in Darwins heat ... and saw more of this town then on our last visits. I best liked the murals ...as we walked a few adventure labs as well...We fund some caches and all needed more search.Thank you for this virtuell cache oinkoink
We had a nice walk in Darwin. It was hot and after a short but intense rain shower it was hot and humid. However, we could visit some Caches here . TFTC forestcats on world cruise 2024
In town over night on the brilliance of the seas left the ship at 6:30am for my morning walk and toGrab a few caches. It is better than walking around the deck 40 times. This morning I got virtual adventure and normal caches. Im back on the ship now after walking 10 km. Time to get ready for the jumping croc tour cant wait. Thanks to all the caches owners.
pineapplegoldy and my newly signed up friend "goldyscacheelf" are in the NT for a few days. There isn't much caching on the schedule. We are visiting Litchfield National Park and Fogg Dam, with a croc jumping tour during our time here.I had an extremely late night after the Matchbox Twenty concert in Adelaide last night. Plus we had the earliest flight which boarded at 6:25AM. So, I'm very tired today. However, we started the day off with a FTF! An added bonus which we did not expect. We did some exploring today and came to check out the waterfront precinct.I love virtuals, so we made our way here to complete this one. I've attached the photo with my log. Thanks for bringing us here. Cool spot. Thanks corunnaroad for this virtual cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3968 on the 16th of February 2024.
Beautiful spot..thank you for bringing me here. From Nova Scotia Canada, cruising with HAL.
We were in Darwin Australia for the day on our ship - Holland America's Volendam. We had a route of caches and Adventure Lab Stops planned. We walked about 8 miles around the city, finding 6 caches and completing 15 Lab Stops. We went back to the ship to cool off and end our walk for the day; however, checking Messages there, we saw that a CO had answered our Message about a problem with one of their caches. With that resolved, Marbles went out, met GrtDane along the way, and the two of us walked in the sun and the heat of the day another mile round trip and found that cache - Phew!#####################This Cache: Quick Find of the GZ object - Photo has been uploaded
In Darwin for a few days from Perth doing the touristy thing and picking up few smilies when the missus lets me. We were at the impressive waterfront precinct and I wandered over to pick up this virtual.Image attached of my GPSr and my thongs under the sculpture. Got myself some hot feet pretty quickly it must be said. corunnaroad I found your cache at 4:28pm, this was the 3rd of 3 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8398.TFVC
Well I realised Id gone to the wrong sphere until after I got back to the ship so please feel free to delete my log if you like. Thats me under the wrong sphere TFTVC anyway

Adelaide and train trip Day 6. Explore Darwin Day. Today was my day in and around Darwin to wander around and visit interesting places marked by caches and LAB caches. I found it hot and sweaty, but I enjoyed my walking. My favorite spot was down by the beach at one of the LAB points. There is so much interesting stuff here to see and if I had more time I would have expanded my travels. In the evening I headed down to the wharf for dinner and a final virtual cache for the day. Off on the train south tomorrow, it will be an fun trip.On the way to dinner, I detoured around to this cache location. People all over the place getting ready for the solar challenge, but I was able to get the image required for this cache. Thanks for the cache corunnaroad44700.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Buttermilk Benchmark A#77**Albida**
Gday Australia! Great cache to get. L is in Australia with his u of Minnesota solar car team. They are racing from Darwin to Adelaide in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. During static testing/inspections at the convention center, he took the time to fulfill cache requirements. I told him that sitting inside the sculpture would bring his team good luck. Hopefully that turns out to be true. Found on 10/18. They start race on 10/22, or 10/21 Minnesota time. To be honest the 15 1/2 hr time difference is still confusing me.Good luck and safe travels to all the teams. I will update as the race progresses.TFTC!
Found and photographed. The main problem is a different image, think I got an original!
Well, we're about to leave Darwin. Am I going to leave without catching the closest cache/virtual to the hotel!!?? No, no. But we're supposed to make an unboring picture. Ok. Here's our try!!They are panoramas. Taken from ground level (it wasn't too dirty, brushed off and moved on) it does make an interesting picture!!You get a favorite for making us jump out of the . Tftc dictaham and clan
An enjoyable early morning wander around Darwin, watching others in their activewear getting their steps up, the odd dog and walker enjoying the cooler part of the day and me finding caches in while listening to northern Australia waking up.
A cool sculpture in a place that has changed dramatically in the last 20+ years.
