# 9594 Back in WA for a bit from Canberra. It always feels like summer when I'm here. We'll be travelling between Perth, Albany/Denmark and Margaret River over two weeks. While it's not a geo-trip, I should still be able to grab a few.A quick stop in Busselton on the way to Margaret River. Took a walk out to the end of the pier and back. Grabbed most of the required info. Thanks .K.B. for the Virtual Cache

Muggle65 and l have 3 days in WA to grab as many of the caches on our list as we can. Naturally our list is too ambitious but isn't that every cachers norm? This is a great location for a Virtual and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Thank you for bringing us here.

At the beginning of my caching career, GreenGecko1 laid out an agenda of caching each capital city. I'm happy to report 6 states down and only one to go.This weekend was our allocated visit time, unfortunately it arrived on the back of the recent Dunedin Mega epic.Arriving in town Thursday night at 11pm, we grabbed our hire car and set off. Our first virtual in WA. A fabulous location.Caches signed as either Muggle65 or M65.

In Busselton for a very long weekend holiday with the family, not wanting to make dishes on our final night, we stopped at the Jetty for dinner and a play on the Shipwreck. A very well designed and fun playground. We've been here before so nothing new learned about the Jetty, but I had not enjoyed the "Fish" sculpture, what a random story behind it.TFTC, Claire, Sophie, Zoe & lathiat

I came over to WA last year for WAGB 23 and had such a great time so I decided to come back over again for this years events in Augusta. So after all of the planning with dates worked out my work decided that I could only have one week off so flying over was my only option. So I flew into to Perth and my first stop will be Busselton for 2 nights. It has been 47 years since I was in this part of WA and Im really looking forward to the re visit.Im making my way down the coast and picking out caches that look interesting to me.After spending a bit of time in Bunbury it was back to the Geo Rent a Car to continue along the coast and I have made it to Busselton.I checked in to my accomadation and now to find some caches around town before tea.Now that is a long jetty and as it was getting late I decided to walk it tomorrow afternoon.Soon found what was needed and answers have been sent. Thanks .K.B. TFTVC.

Find number 13907 at 11:56:47AM on Saturday the 14 September 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Today we headed up to Bussellton to visit the jetty but didn't get to go out on it because it was sort of full so we will book in for tomorrow. We also went out to Cape Naturaliste and back to camp via Canal Rocks, and we grabbed the odd cache along the way SmileA beautiful day for a walk on the jetty, only we didn't get there, we couldn't get into the Underwater thing so we booked to come back again tomorrow.**Thanks for placing this cache .K.B.**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.

Visited with Jude_E a few days ago. Interesting story behind "Fish", good bronze sculpture as well, tftc.

05-Sep-24
Initial disappointment here. Due to not knowing what time we would arrive, we didn't book, and while we could have gotten on the train, there seemed to be no point if we couldn't get into the observatory. A reworking of our plans and now we will get to go tomorrow afternoon. Enjoyed a wander anyway. Thanks for the virtual.#10535

T-Tech and I are over from Brisbane visiting family, and we have run off for a couple of days break to visit Rockingham, Bunbury and Busselton. We reached Busselton yesterday afternoon and took the Jetty Train ride. This morning we spent a few hours gathering caches before our departure back to Perth, and that included 6 different types: AL, Virtual, Traditional, Multi, Letterbox and Puzzle. We both like doing Virtual caches, so this was a must visit cache. No trouble getting the details sorted and I have sent my answers to the CO. TFTC, .K.B.

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 51 - Bunbury Day 3. Day trip to Margaret River via Bussellton. I went a bit further today and visited some old favorite spots and a few new ones on a longish day. I had morning tea in Bussellton and a walk along the fore shore. Next was the push to The Margaret River Chocolate Factory, and big highlight of the area. I had to be very restrained. Next was onto Margaret River itself for lunch and a few Labs. I even managed a bit of a trail of puzzles that had been part of the pre trip solving. I ended the day with another stop in Bussellton for a few more labs when it was not as busy. I even went a short way out the Jetty. I was home just after dark for dinner n the van.As I wandered along the foreshore checking out the sights, I stopped here to get my image and find the details required for this cache. A very popular spot on a bright sunny morning. Thanks for the cache .K.B.47744.3 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 014 Compass Rose Longevity A#303**Albida**

We had quite rainy and windy weather today, so I didnt venture the full Busselton Jetty. Nonetheless, I still had some lunch at the nearby The Goose restaurant, watching on the windy and rainy weather, as well as the choppy waters. TFTC and greetings from Singapore!

We walked the jetty today between rain and sun. We had a loooot of wind but the iew was cool. We did the virtual before to end up at Shelter Brewery (I recommand!). Very nice virtual.

This is the most iconic place in Busselton. I guess that's what comes with having the longest timber jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, the cute little painted buildings and a photogenic statue (one of the waypoints) near the start. There would be some stunning sunset photos taken here. TFTV .K.B. FP! Answers sent and reply received.

We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. The remaining five weeks are spent in Australia. Yesterday we drove from Karri Valley to Margaret River. After visiting Moses Rock, Quininup Fall, Sugerloaf Rock we visit Cape Naturaliste were we have a nice somewhat longer walk. In the afternoon we headed for Busselton Jetty. But first we collected the answers for this virtual. The we entered the jetty end made it to to end. The answers have been sent via the message center. Thank you very much for this fun virtual.

Busselton is a really Beautiful place and it's great to revisit here. Our last visit was 8 years ago and just a quick trip out to the aquarium with the kids. We did take the train then which was fun but the weather was windy with big waves. It's nice to see it so calm and sunny this time. Thanks for the VC!

Ciao e grazie. #11008Today we plan to visit Busselton and its famous Jetty. Before leaving I prepare the usual list of interesting caches. Furthermore, today is a leap day so the caches are more than usual. The day begins in the best way with a ftf to the beautiful Ngilgi caves. Who begins well.....We arrive at the Jetty but before walking the 1841m we look for the answers to send. We take some photos and begin the walk. Hello and thanks. #11008

Gorgeous spot for a Virtual, well done .K.B. we had to find the statue to get one of the answers and as there were loads of folks sitting right in front of the next plaque we decided to come back and hope for he best. As luck would have it there was noone at the 2nd plaque once we came back so answer quickly noted and on to the next.Arrived in beautiful Busselton a couple of days ago to add some more LGAs to our tally, stopped here for a few days before heading to Dunsborough, Margaret River and Augusta. Day 1 was an afternoon cycle along the beautiful foreshore, day 2 was a handful of caches between sight-seeing and golfing and day 3 was a fun day to get the Busso Challenge! We had alot of fun in a beautiful town and collected alot of smilies! Thanks to all the COs for our fun!Thank you .K.B. for placing and maintaining Beautiful Busselton Virtual cache for us and others to find and enjoy! Fave point added, love this place!
