Luckily I knew the MO of this series, so very quick find, tftc!Main target for today was GC5Y002 - Six feet under but since I was heading a bit further south, I picked up some caches along the way as well.

Decided to do the nearby Ad Lab around Brightwater this afternoon, and stopped by this cache here. Quick find, all good here, cheers
We are on a trip in New Zealand. A wonderful country with a lot of (old )caches. There are too many caches so we limit ourselves to the (old) gems or where we happen to make a stop. We found and signed this cache in good condition. the Seagnoid, thank you for this cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.
Today we spent some time in Nelson and beside sight-seeing we went for some caches. We stopped here to buy some drinks in the near supermarket and then we went to the cache. Easy to find. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.Happy hunting!TFTCschnuckel1[#24079]
After 2 attempts finally did what we thought not to do the first time!!! And there she was!!! Very clever!
I wandered all around looking at the obvious places then realised there it was in plain view(the camo cover was lying beside it) hidden in a similar manner to one of my own. Cover restored. Thanks
Today I decided after RNZ left Brightwater to head home that I would go for a run & then cache my way home.
I targeted the cycleway & headed for the swing bridge
The last cache I located before I hit home A great 25 minute run & then 40 min hike home

Good quick find but had to wait as school had just finished and the area was busy all around.
Someone left a sausage roll in cellophane inside on top of the log container. So discarded it , thanks for another read on the rail.

Fancy finding a Seagnoid in the wild down here. The cache blends in well but I spotted it whilst parking
Came here when doing the Adventure Lab for Brightwater. As always the history and research in your caches is awesome. Was wondering if you would continue a very familiar theme…… aaaand you did.
Found and signed with Piwaka54 on our little holiday at St Arnaud and Nelson.
Thanks Seaganoid

Searched for about 20 minutes through the bush and still could not find it. It says bang on the site of the old train station but there is nothing that says anything about a train station anywhere. Absolutely no idea where it could be.
Hmmm, could it be, most probably not. Surely it isn’t, better look anyway. Anyone close by? Nope. Time to look and it is!! Favourite given because of the conversation! TFTC the Seagnoid.
Finally, I day we can both agree on! Is 7/7/2021 7 July 2021 or July 7, 2021. We are both right.
I wasn't sure about the cache hiding spot since it might have been there for another purpose. After a loop around the area, I returned and got the cache. TFTC.

Had to be patient for this one. Plenty of time to read the rail history for brightwater. Thanks very much
Found with StreetWalkerNZ as we travel from Nelson to Brightwater, Wakefield and beyond, (then back again). Our object today is to find the ad labs in the area as well as solved puzzles and anything else that takes our fancy .
After we had a coffee and a bite to eat at the local cafe, our flagging energies were recharged and we were ready to continue finding caches on "the list". GZ was pretty familiar and we are sure we have found at least one if not two caches near here. A quick find today, then we carried on with the Brightwater Ad lab. TFTC.

#19899. After a well earned late lunch at coffee, it was time for .... more caching! Spotted the familiar park before the car came to a stop. There was someone in the adjacent building, but luckily the didn't emerge until after I finished doing the paperwork. TFTC.
Nosynel, Graciesgpsfun, Ethness and I are caching the top of the south. Today we are hanging around Richmond. Good to find this. Thanks.
Yay a nice find. Part 1, Day 4. Four of us are in Nelson, graciesgpsfun, Ethness, Jude_E and me. Thanks for creating this hide. It was find 9902 for me.

Found with NZDi. Mrs Kiwimykl (aka NZDi) had some retail therapy to do which could only be done in Nelson today. We also popped in to see my Mum at the Marsden Cemetary to freshen the flowers on her grave while we were here. It wasn't a lot of shopping, so she got me to look at the geocaching map last night and sort out somewhere to cache this afternoon. Brightwater was somewhere that seemed to have a high proportion of green dots, (just like almost everywhere in the Nelson/Tasman region despite regular visits to this side of the hill). Which is why we are here today. We had no specific targets in mind, but we ended getting a nice round twenty caches, mainly Traditionals, but with the odd Mystery and Multi thrown in as well. Of course we also did the local Adventure Lab cache and its' bonus cache too. Logs were either logged in full, or where space was at a premium, the abridged version of KM + ND was used.
This was the first of the afternoon and came as a bit of a surprise. We were having lunch in the park this cache is placed in when NZDi said isn't there one here. I replied that we got it before it was archived, then another was listed by the green box across the road which we had also got. But I checked c:geo anyway and discovered this third cache. I remember the CO saying that when he was preparing this series, he had to negotiate the removal of some caches that conflicted with his placings with their owners. I guess this was one of those.
All good here.

Glad it was a cache and not something else... Brightwater has changed a fair amount in the last few years. Cheers
A bit of a wander around Brihtwater on this hot summer's day.
I walked qround & around, then remembered who the C.O is ! FP "hiding in plain sight" - excellent placement !!

Out for a cycle tis morning. All quiet in Brightwater at 8.30 on a Sunday morning. Quickly spotted the usual hide. Thanks for the cache.
Just before picking someone up in Brightwater, I had time for a walk and decided to look for the 3 caches that are pretty close to each other within short walking distance. Parked at Ellis Street and came here to find exactly what I needed Afterwards I looked for the cache..
Felt a bit weird but no people around, so I quickly signed and replaced.

Awesome! Its a fine day here and in Nelson, so Toby and I headed over the hill for some caching, shopping and the most important thing, the event hosted by the Birthday guys. Picked up Bullertrouts Bro and went exploring for a few hours. Great weather and great time. Cheers
