Cache owner hasn't logged onto the site in over four months, is assumed inactive. Since the cache is gone I've archived it. I would be happy to unarchive it if it is replaced before another is placed within .1 mile.

pretty sure we were at the right place but found nothing but the only fallen Totara (still alive) and some large rocks.

Could a local check on this please.

Thanks for a nice easy cache. It was a new area for me, I must come back when it stops raining.
Took out chalk put in Address book.

Lovely walk on a clear winters day. Found the cache - not well hidden, and not much in it (engineer chalk, 2 furbies, log and Compass Winnie) Suspect it is regularly checked by non cachers. Removed Winnie for safety, left bag of marbles.

Easy walk along track, a lot of people around,
good to get to know this area,
took bead game and left another furby to play with his mate,

Put in a pocket knife, took out a penguin. There was no camera to take our pictures with in the cache [8)]

Had an enjoyable day

Why do I always seem to park at the far end of these tracks? Smile Found reasonably easily, whilst trying to avoid the entire population of Whangarei who seemed to be constantly walking past! Ended up carrying the cache 100m further up the path when opening to avoid undue attention. Took photo. CD out (will return) added Tux the penguin and stick of engineers chalk. Good hiding.
...update 5/10: CD returned to cache, Thanks PJ
