Finally checked today and it appears to have gone. I will not be making a replacement and so have archived it.
Tricky had absolutely no clue. Noticed quite a few dnf previously so will wait a bit before attempting again...
Wasn't meant to be today. I guess we just didn't see the forest for all the trees...
Thanks anyway!

My mum found it. Shes pretty stooked she didn't need her glasses. Seems like I do tho hahahaha. Great camouflage really enjoyed looking for this one.
TFTC.. was about to leave as I thought I looked everywhere, but wow that was very clever
Out with Bogonghazy after he picked up a kayak in Curlewis and time for a few caches on the way home.
A quick find of a unique cache. Thanks Alansee, a fave of course

Out for a day's caching with Sorceysal after picking up a kayak in Curlewis.
This was an easy find for us as we picked up a few on our way home .
Thanks again Alan, I certainly hadn't seen one like this before, very clever

We were in Drysdale meeting with a client, and after a successful meeting, we looked around for a couple of caches to find. We are suckers for shinrin-yoku, so forests are particularly attractive to us. There is a great place to pull off the road quite near this cache. After spending some time playing GPS Tennis, we stepped out from under the trees and let our GPS devices settle. We then followed their lead and were pleased to find a nicely constructed and well-camouflaged hide. On retrieving the cache, we disturbed an eight-legged cache guardian, but it scurried off quickly, and we were soon able to sign the log. The cache is in excellent condition and very dry. Thank you, Alansee, for this cache.
GPS not a lot of help here at all, all over the place and consequently took me much long than it should have, won with a lot of perseverance.
Nice cameo. TFTC

Marshall’s Geelong found this cache today,
Tried to find this one over a year ago, can safely say that I’ve now found it! Don’t know why I struggled so much the first time.

Fairly easy find once the GPS settled. Cool hide. Thanks for all you do Alansee!

Another tricky one in the area as the trees were playing with the GPS and rain was drizzling down, but we persisted and found it in the end.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here today.

A nice little urban forest here. This area has changed quite a bit from the late 70's when Alan, the kids and I were here holidaying at Easter and Christmas.
Once I had turned in the right direction this was not as hard as I thought it would be. I had seen a similar one not too far away in the Y Yangs.

After many weeks of lock down, we at last were allowed some normality. A wonderfully sunny day to grab a few Caches.
We cannot begin to say how wonderful it was to escape.

Log is full, but has been supplimented with another loose piece. This does make it more difficult to return to its rightful place without inflicting damage. Otherwise, all good at GZ.

We circled the urban forest trying in vain to get our devices to settle without any luck. So we checked out the hint to help our quandary. Using that information we raised our eyes and searched until the well camouflaged cache holder was spotted.
Nicely done Alansee, it blends in beautifully.
A favourite point added.

Boy, we sure had fun getting to the cache container but perseverance paid off and eventually the cache container was in our hands. Made sure it was not as hard to retrieve the cache container for the next cacher. Fantastic novel idea for a cache hide and deserves a fav from us due to the excellent planning and implementation.

Wandered over to this cache after locating the other one close to the Drysdale reserve after deciding to break our geocaching hiatus. Miss 15 quickly spotted the cache whilst the others were searching nearby. TFTC
Met up with an Easter Bunny today to tour a little of our own Bellarine Peninsula. The expected 37 degree temperature wasn't going to deter us. We were ready for kayaking, swimming, tree climbs, walks... and even donuts!
EB1 had found this one and recommended a stop at the urban forest. He thought I would struggle and stood aside ready to enjoy my fruitless hunt, but since I have similar hides in the You Yangs I had a suspicion of what I was looking for and went straight to it. Gotcha!
Thanks Alansee.

I had a horror Night cache here that I put a lot of work into, however it kept getting muggled. Was going to give it a reboot but the proximity issues make it a problem with new one at footy field. A nice spot in this Forrest and innovative hide. Thanks!
I was in the area today so I made a short detour to grab my cache for the day while I was a fair way from home. A pleasant little forest here in among a growing population. Once at GZ the cache was quickly spotted and retrieved.
With my name in the book I was then able to get back to work.
Thank you Alansee for the cache

Out and about with my caching buddy suscoe down on the Bellarine to change a few caches to smilies and this was on the list to hopefully find and find we did.
I have been to this pine grove before looking for a cache that was placed by my old mate RedPaw68 in a previous life.
I had no idea what I was looking for here and I must admit it was not what I thought it would be so well done Alan for thinking outside the box with this hide.

Here we wandered in circles for some minutes, expecting a decent hide. And we were not disappointed! Accurate coords and a cool camo.
Sadly, the rain was not letting off, so we decided to have a coffee and then head home after just four finds. We will be back to find more of the caches in the area.

Well done on another hard to find cache.
Just needed some persistence and there it was
