TFTC! Needs maintenance, although dry today Bag split and no container. Im afraid we didnt have anything with us to fix it, sorry!
Beautiful day for a walk was here yesterday but couldn't find the start, so back today, heart pumping hill to start then the lovely bush and associated sounds. Log was too wet to sign. Thanks for bringing me out and about getting much needed exercise TFTC
out and about getting caches for signal to escape. TFTC TNLN the log and swaps were found out of a container in the open with a sodden log book in a plastic bag. this series needs attention as only some as still here. Please help bring this trail back to usable.
Beautiful walk... pity someone has been through with a motorbike and made mud puddles everwhere
So I parked at the junction of Jacobsons and Hackford and I proceeded to walk up that watercourse that the council know as Picket Hill Track.
I’m sure I’ve been here before although being male I’m probably wrong.
Eventually got to GZ and I found the cache in the MLS, signed the dry log and placed it all back with a little extra camouflage. And I made it back to the cachemobile just before the rain started.
Thanks for the cache!

Track was a bit slippery today but a nice walk in the forest that we haven't done before.TFTC
A nice walk to this one with so many properties that back onto this track. I love it how these tracks thread the needle of private land, i feel like i'm trespassing but all is ok seeing there are signs that say this is a public walking track
The lightning tree was located and the cache that's suffered water damage [:o] was found.
Luckily the log was dry enough to sign. [I really gotta carry spare gear with me other than craft pegs and swag ha ha ]
No hairy 8-legged freaks were encountered when i ducked in to grab the cache

Today we decided to find some more caches in the area while staying at the caravan park and this was one of them.
Log book is very wet and bag has split, can next cacher provide a new log and bag please.
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Found this pretty easily. The container itself is missing but the logbook and goodies are still there in a bag. They are a little damp though. Still, I managed to sign the log. TFTC!
Yay! Thanks for this series. We are rather drenched but its nice to get out and explore some new scenery. This find helped us to get the solar system series! Thank you
Enjoying the walk so far. Nice way obvious find in good condition. Thanks koalabinski
Still GPS totally stuffing it up. If it wasn’t for S_38 I would be lost in the forest. Anyway, still a beautiful walk on for me unexplored land, so I am happy! TFTC!
A few months ago, we set out with SonOfSteel to track down all the caches in this series, starting from the other end. For a variety of reasons, we ended up tracking down all of them but this one.
Today, with COVID-19 beginning to impact our options for getting out and about, we figured we'd take the opportunity to take the dogs for a walk and finally track down this cache. Parking at the suggested parking coordinates, we proceeded up the hill at the start, and soon found ourselves wandering through a peaceful bush setting. Despite passing the occasional residence on either side of the track, it was definitely still a beautiful bit of bush!
Eventually, we found ourselves in a secluded part of the track, as we approached the GZ. There seemed to be two potential hiding spots, but fortunately we made the right call and soon had the cache in hand.
It should be noted that during our walk we encountered three different completely unrestrained dogs, roaming free on both their own properties and the track itself. Of these, one became quite aggressive towards our dogs - we felt quite lucky to get out of the situation unscathed. For this reason, we don't recommend taking dogs or small children when attempting this cache.
Nevertheless, despite the little mishap, we still enjoyed the rest of our walk - definitely a beautiful spot, so TFTC!

Hi koalabinski, thanks for this cache and the series.
These have been on my (nearby) 'to do list' for way too long, having finally got to PH#4 late last year. Not sure why its taken me so long, but thought I'd better tick them off before they celebrated their 1st birthday.
Nothing much doing at home, and no interested company, so I headed out by myself.
I parked at the suggested parking for PH#2, collected that and then up to PH#3.
Back at the car, I did wonder whether I should drive down, and then walk up to this one, but decided to leave the car where it was. I hadn't noticed the track start when I parked, but it soon became obvious, but then I was glad that the GPSr had a map with the track/s on it, otherwise it would have been harder to navigate down to the cache (thanks AlbyDangles).
But, I got to GZ okay, a fairly quick find, and as others have said, there is no container any more - which is why I decided against dropping a TB that I picked up at PH#2.
Now, I just need to trudge back up to the car.
A great afternoon walk, thanks for bringing me to a track and area I've not been before.

Decided to do the Picket Hill and Leslie Vale walks today and picking up the caches in the area. Lovely spots to go walking. This was the last one of the Picket Hill series. Another nice easy find. Thanks for the series on a track we never new existed before. That is why geocaching is so great. TFTC
Happy New Year koalabinski.
With today being a public holiday, and the GeoGSP's puppy play date falling through as his playmates owner had broken their toe, the GeoGSP and I were up for a little bit of a geocaching adventure. I decided to target an area with a bunch of caches, not too far out of town.
Enjoyed your series of cache containers, and discovering a new walking trail. We didn't pass any horses today, but we did find lots of evidence of recent visits! We also passed a few sheep, but the GeoGSP has no interest in sheep - they don't bounce or bark so he is not interested in them.
We approached this one from it's suggested parking coordinates. At GZ wasn't sure which side of the track the hint referred to, so a search of both sides was made before what remains of the cache was revealed. As mentioned by previous hiders, there is no longer a container here, but luckily the lid ornament remains along with the log and two ziplock bags.

I was searching on one side of the track while MrT was searching the other side. We both called ‘Found It’ at the same time. I had found the original log, the stone with the clever message and a zip lock bag while MrT had found a zip lock bag with some swag and a replacement log. Hopefully we placed it where it should have been but it probably needs to be checked and there’s no container only the two zip locks.
Still deserves a FP

A really lovely walk.
The cache was in the open outside the hide, so it’s now rehidden with its “lid”.
Thanks

Had some time today for a walk. Managed to find my way to this one, but disappointed to find the cache was uncovered and tossed to the side. So grabbed the pieces back together and signed the log book and returned the cache to a place that was well hidden

Hello koalabinski thank you for the cache.
I drove to the bottom of the hill so I could walk up it to find this one.
Although it was #1 it was the last one I found.
I needed to find this one to get another gem the to solve the museum madness, it was the last close one so a long drive tomorrow to find the others.

Out and about hunting down new caches that have appeared while we were away. Never been on this track before. Came from the other cache and Mrs W kept walking down while Mr W went to get the car. A very pleasant stroll on the horse trail. Glad we did this group first as by the time we got to #1 it was drizzling.
Hi kaolabinski
Found three caches today, three different gems for the “Mystery at the Museum” game
This was the first of the three
Tried to get as close to GZ as possible and bush bashed my way to the track I should have been on – that done, down the track and made a quick find at GZ
The cache was uncovered but not so when I left
Sainted the cache at 1215 hours; then took a shorter and better path back to the car
Good cache and most enjoyable
Unfortunately your stone has come loose from the lid – both put back together
TFTC and cheers

Out and about picking up a few caches that have been published since our last visit in the area! What an interesting area and what a climb but it was nice. Lady membsec did most of the trail while male membsec met her at different parts.
Thanks for bringing us into this interesting area.
Thanks for bringing us into this interesting area.
We managed to arrive at the starting point with a break in the weather. Even though it was cold it was a nice walk to GZ.
The cache was found quickly, signed and returned.
Koalabinski thanks for the cache and the series, which we thoroughly enjoyed finding.
A favourite point for the series.

Sorry for the late and copy and paste log, I have been busy doing other things and just want to catch up on my logging before heading to the Meag tonight.
Thanks for the caches.

OK I'll be honest, we did look to see if we could get any closer in the car but in the end we parked where we should have and hiked up the hill. These two super tuned bodies raced up the hill to GZ, well that's what my starved of oxygen brain was imagining anyway. Once it leveled out and we caught our breaths, stainless steel rat and I enjoyed the walk Even the pesky dog that followed us for a while barking like he owned the joint didn't faze us too much. Once he quit the neighbours dog started his shift!
We made it to GZ soon enough and SSR spotted the cache quickly and whipped it out. We are looking forward to the next one now but it's back past the pesky hounds first to the car.
Thanks for the cache and the much needed exercise koalabinski

Starting from the Parking coords it was onwards and upwards.
The exercise is necessary but the cache makes a great prize.
Thank you koalabinski

Yay, FTF.
It took me quite a while, and some back-tracking to find the right path. But found it was, and so too the cache.
Now to walk all the way back up...
