The last time we were up here it was to view the aurora. It's a fantastic spot for it that not too many know about. It was nice to come up during the day and see the views in the light. A super spot. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
On a jaunt with a client today, collecting some caches along the way. Quick find with the hint. What a glorious view!TFTC

out and about getting caches for signal to escape. TFTC TNLN the views at this cache were worth the walk up the hill. an easy find with clues, pity the rest have not been replaced. this series needs attention as only some as still here. Please help bring this trail back to usable.
Left home on a lovely sunny day, arrived at GZ (about 2km as the forest raven flies) and it was windy and pouring with rain! Of course it all stopped once I got into my car after I'd logged the cache! Nice easy find, in good condition. TFTC
A quick outing today to try and find a cache or two before the rain set in.
This one was the first on our to do list. I have never been up to the top here before so appreciated the view.

This was the first cache find for this evening.
As I was driving up the outlet it started to rain and I thought there goes my caching for the night. As it turned out, it was only a brief shower and has stopped by the time I reached the summit.
A quick find for me. Thanks for the cache!

Hi koalabinski, this was my last of nine finds today on an overcast Sunday afternoon caching with Nataliec1234. They had already picked up your four Picket Hill caches but there wasn't enough time for me to wander down to pick up the other three. A lovely scenic spot and one I have never been to so thank you ! All good with the cache.
Views are so nice up here. Thanks for taking me here I would never have known this view was here otherwise.
I love a good view so ascending to this one was a given. Once there i was stunned by just how good it was [:x]
That Octagon shaped house has the best view ever! I could handle living there no problem
The cache was found quickly but i'm glad the wallaby crap wasn't. It's like dodging Land-Mines up there on that small oval
SL at 10:50 on Wednesday the 3rd of November 2021.
The skies are darkening so i'd better get a move on to the "Vampires Are People Too" hides.
The cache and contents are in good condition and are dry

While out and about today we found a few caches on the way and this was one of them.
Great views were had from here but very windy and cold. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Had three eshay muggles watch me from the carkpark, I just want to know what they thought I was doing
Wow, amazing spot! Thanks so much for taking us here! Never known if not for this cache! Sensational views!
Awesome views in every direction. Very steep walk from the bottom. Cache in good condition. May have to return one evening to photograph the aurora. Thanks koalabinski
Wow! This place is amazing. I love the view of the mountain. Cache is good condition! thanks!
Fantastic spot. I woukd love to see something done with the area sometime. Many thanks.
An easy find. Had to dodge a couple of "muggles", pictured below but soon had the cache in paw. A stunning view. SL, TFTC! I took the travel bug and I'll find a new home for it this weekend.
After not finding 3 in the Vampires series, we were happy to drop and find this little gem. Thank you so much one happy girl
Wowsers! I was totally gob smacked by the view. I never knew this vantage point existed. Cache was a quick find which was pleasing as I was distracted by the vista.
Decided to do the Picket Hill and Leslie Vale walks today and picking up the caches in the area. Lovely spots to go walking. Loved this one. Beautiful views all around. Another easy find while avoiding the dog walker and the horse rider. Left tb took tb. TFTC
Happy New Year koalabinski.
With today being a public holiday, and the GeoGSP's puppy play date falling through as his playmates owner had broken their toe, the GeoGSP and I were up for a little bit of a geocaching adventure. I decided to target an area with a bunch of caches, not too far out of town.
This is an awesome cache - what a great view! I have not been to this area before so thanks for placing a cache here and along the nearby tracks.
Enjoyed your series of cache containers - although both the GeoGSP and I managed to get completely covered in buzzies at this one - luckily the weren't the horrible prickly ones, but I did spend the next twenty minutes brushing off the seeds along the trail.
Nice quick find, cache is in good order. Dropped off a trackable here.

Parked at the top of the hill and walked to all the caches in this series. A great way to walk off some of the Christmas Day excesses.
A FP from us - nice size containers, good coordinates and a great walk.

Hi koalabinski, Yay, I finally got here. Thanks for bringing me to somewhere new.
I spent most of today doing various things when really "I'd rather be Geocaching"
Anyway, I'm glad I squeezed in a quick trip up here, for a nice quick find, of a nice, well stocked cache in good order.
The weather was at best 'unpleasant' so I shall have to return to better appreciate the views - as well as to complete the rest of the series.
Thanks for the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

We haven't been here before. There are certainly wonderful views but the very strong winds today made it unpleasant out of the car. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a well presented and hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache and the mini-series.
Today, looking for a couple of caches near to home to pick up during a spare hour or two, we spotted the Picket Hill series and figured we'd give them a bit of a go.
We decided to start at this end and work our way north. What a way to start! The view from the GZ over Kingston, the Derwent and beyond is truly magnificent! Definitely a great spot for a cache!
Speaking of which, we had no trouble tracking it down - there's not many possible spots it could be near the coordinates! Little Miss Nataliec1234 discovered a parachute toy within, and had a ball of a time playing in the stiff breeze coming up the hill!
TFTC!

Found this cache while out for the day and wow!! That is one heck of a view! Thanks for taking Me here
Hello koalabinski thank you for the cache.
A nice easy find in a location I had thought about hiding a cache sometime ago while helping to build a "little house" just over the bank.

Out and about hunting down new caches that have appeared while we were away. What a great spot for a cache. Fantastic view despite the drizzle. Deserves a favourite. TFTC
Out and about picking up a few caches that have been published since our last visit in the area! What a great view!
Thanks for bringing us into this interesting area.

Found this on a trip to the area just to get these caches. Weather closed in so number one wasn’t an option. The rest where found and I was geeet each time with a great container.
Number 4 had some great views.

Hi Koalabinski
Had visited with Mum in Hobart Private and needed some caching relief and relaxation: this series or some of them were on the agenda on the way home
Even though the weather was not conducive to caching, was determined to do so
An easy find; Sainted at 1601 hours
Loved the views here
TFTC and cheers

A nice spot hat I've used as the endpoint for road bike and MTB rides, as well as practicing my driving in the 80s and teaching my kids to drive in this decade.
Thanks for the safe hide and the good views.

Maybe we should have continued up the track on foot but I wanted to go to The Bush Bakery so we drove around to #4. Loved the views here, pretty much 360° too!
We spotted where we thought the cache would be hidden and for a minute thought we had been wrong but it was there, hidden well (and sneakily).
Thanks for this lovely series koalabinski, and thanks for getting us back out caching today. Now for some goodies from the bakery
