A fun weekend of camping and caching with Robmc and Betty Boo. We set up at Greenhill Lake for the weekend and traversed the hinterlands from there.

Day 2 and we headed out to find a few caches before lunch, it got too hot and it was time to pack up. No-one seemed to be home but the dog certainly made a lot of noise.

#17255. Sunday in Ararat. The Morris, Robmc and I are out on the caching trail once more, hoovering up a few before lunch-time.

I am never fond of doing caches that are at peoples houses. Always feel extremely obvious. Poor Mr Owl had fallen over so we put him upright. Getting the log out of its camo was certainly a frustrating business but we finally had the cache to hand and added our names to the log.

Thanks rustydigger

The second and last day in Ararat with BettyBoo3747 and The Morris.
We toured around Ararat collecting caches not all of us had found.

The dog was at home, but we saw no one else.
We were there for a while struggling to get the log container out of the cache container. Smile
Thanks, Robmc.

Found, was a bit hesitant because I wasn't sure if I should touch it or not but I grew some balls and went for it.

The last find for the day for me and my Geosister (Lilith). This one was a rather frustrating one as we (or rather Lilith) found the cache with no issues but we had a lot of trouble extracting the log. Both of us tried for a bit, and it was only when I had my second crack that I got it out - it requires a lot of careful tilting. Cheers!

Out for a morning by myself and thought I would grab some finds before the mega this weekend. Loved this find, will have to bring the kiddies back here one day. Nice, easy find. Tftc.

Accurate coordinates and a very appropriate object led to a quick find. The hardest task was extracting the small container with the logbook from the large container. It took some manipulation and dexterity to get the small container. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks rustydigger for a novel cache.

#1749 - 1.05pm
Returning from a western adventure road trip with heymissjo. We needed to pick up a cache in Ararat for a challenge, and so we stopped by here as the rain had just settled in.
This was a quick find as the camo may have had a few too many sherbets last night. Still, the extraction took some nimble fingers.
Heymissjo and I signed in and kept the log dry with some rather amusing teamwork.
Thanks so much, rustydigger. It was a timely break from driving and a real hoot.

After a four day weekend camping and caching, The Welder and I are heading back home. We still needed to collect a cache in Ararat for our LGA challenge and so we thought we would stop by and visit me Rusty... poor owl, looked like he had had a rough night and had passed out face down. But after a quick sign of the log, we put him back up right. Thanks for the cache!

Found today, on a quiet afternoon and no one around. Easy to grab without leaving the footpath. Thanks

That was a hoot!
This cache had just saved Mrs Riddells sanity...beats trying to find a bison in a tree in the cold in the dark.
Soooo grateful to be able to immediately spot this one.
Sorry I disturbed your good little dog.

Found by Mary and David at 14:55. We drove past here before today's Event, but there was a boy playing nearby, so we continued on so as not to compromise the hide. Back again after the Event and now the coast was clear. Able to admire your daffodils, jonquils and all those lemons. This one made us smile. Our thanks to rustydigger.

Walking around the block grabbed this one #201 for me. Back to my cosy fire in the shed. A lazy, cold, late winter's Day 2019

This is one of the caches we were fortunate to find in the Moyston & Armstrong area as we headed toward Ararat after being somewhat housebound by freezing weather and tradesmen.
We were amazed to see so much of the countryside covered by water.
Yes this was a real hoot - gets a FP from us.

Thanks to 'rustydigger' for adding this cache to our gameboard.

We enjoyed a day off together today, and decided to take a drive up the highway while the sun was still out before the cold weather hits this evening. What a hoot of a cache. TFTC rustydigger.

We were visiting the area with our caching partner who took us on a lovely adventure through the roads less traveled, to see areas many people don't see, which we both enjoyed, the youngest team member retrieved this one, log signed and replaced, TFTC and the fun

Suscoe was having a few days of caching and this was our district for today.
Left home well before daylight and arrived in the Ararat area in good time.
The day turned into a pleasant sunny Winter's day with clear skies and gentle sunshine.
The best part was that there was no wind, still and it felt almost warm.

Thanks to rustydigger for this hide.
Loved this one and a favourite for you!!!!!!!!

Great idea.

Even though we were originally from Melbourne i know dislike urban caches, or is it im now not use to them?

Anyway being today is wet, very wet, i knew muggles would be lying low keeping dry and warm, so in some spare time i had off i went to this cache.
