WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 67 - Swan Valley Perth Day 12. My last county for th Perth region. The traffic was not difficult and I was soon off the main roads and collecting caches. The main section of the day was an eScooter section from Mills Park along a highway bike path. I extended it a bit to some other nearby parks as well. I saw a bit of the work on the new railway as I moved around today. I went into Gosnells for lunch and did some Labs while I was there. My afternoon was mostly a walk along a creek line behind an industrial estate bit it was surprisingly peaceful. One more set of Labs on th Canning River before heading home to cook dinner.I had worked my way over the freeway and railway line on the big bridge to get here, but despite having a good poke around in the area advise, I was not able to turn up anything that might have been a cache. Gday Paskersfind, unfortunately I wasnt able to find your cache today (Tuesday 26/12/2023). Thanks for the hunt anyway!Came back to avenge three DNFs and DNFd at two of them again. What a sucky way to start caching for the day.

Find 33 of 35 with three DNFs on a 40km mountain bike ride from Beckenham, through Thornlie and Maddington and out to Huntingdale, then back again. Perfect temperatures and lots of sunshine, good paths along the river to get away from the traffic and an excellent refuelling lunch stop at one of our new favourite places, The Roastery.All good here, as described. Even without a lid the log is dry enough.TFTC Paskersfind!

This ended up being a total waste of my time. 3 DNFs from 3 caches. What a way to kick off a day of caching.

While I wasn’t able to locate it, it sounds like it needs a checkup anyway, based on the previous logs.

Found this one pretty quickly but the lid was missing, thankfully the way the cache was set up the log was still dry. TFTC!!!!

Found here today with Kayak. Mum loves just down the road and we brought her along for the find. Log needs some tlc

Hi there Paskersfind - we were out this afternoon with our grandson Zaviyar who *wanted* to go Geocacaching, so we headed towards Cannington for a change. This cache was found at about 0419pm after a short search - TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Paskersfind for this cache - our find 8771 and the 7th of 7 finds and 0 DNF's for the day.

Hi there Paskersfind - I was out this today with Oma and Opa who *wanted* to go Geocacaching, so we headed towards Mundijong for a change. A classic case of preconceptions for us. We thought we knew what we were looking for but after getting a bit stumped we stood back and spotted it. Thats how it goes sometimes.

Another case of riding past one cache to reach another that is been navigating to. This was the longest of my searches this afternoon and I almost gave up. Eventually I looked in the correct place and saw the tin. Thanks.

Out and about grabbing some caches in between showers. A nice quick find here.
TFTC Paskersfind this is find # 7119 for us.

Pulled in to have a go at this one on the way past today. Parked up 15 meters away and sauntered over to GZ contemplating the unusual hint. All become clear pretty quick, cache recovered, signed and back to the car in the drizzling rain.

I'll grab the other two another time.

We were waiting for our water system to get some maintenance this afternoon but they came earlier than expected so the Better Half convinced me to take her out caching so we drove to these new caches that were published earlier this morning.

I guided the Better Half close to ground zero where she made a quick find. Was a first blank log. Log was signed and cache returned as found.

We were waiting for our water system to get some maintenance this afternoon but they came early than expected so I convinced Chwiliwr to take me out caching and we drove to these new caches that were published earlier this morning.
