Thanks for your amazing cache mgs. I really appreciate the time you took to set up your caches. Cheers, Cympull.
What a walk!! I sold it to Boomie2 and Sandyofthesea as a walk with views. Unfortunately, the best views were around the landing strip. In New Zealand for a couple of weeks catching up with sandyoftheseas family. Finding a few caches along the way.mga, I found Frequency City (Bay of Plenty) today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
On a tramp with my sister, looking for elevation and veiws. Got the elevation but there were no veiws after taking a couple of photos of the no veiw, I wondered if there was a cache nearby, and yes!! I had already inadvertently found it. I think. I decided to log it while I wait to hear back. I hope that's OK protocol, I have sent off my answer but not sure if I sent it off ok. I found it on the first of the month but will log it for today, while I'm thinking about it

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit & doing the things that we want to do we had been staying at NZMCA Ngongataha campsite but we decided we wanted to do the old Frequency City Virtual Geocache at the top of Mt Ngongataha, this would fill in a square on our Jasmer Challenge page thought we should pick up any other caches on the way parked at the car park up Mountain Rd, then walked up to the top, & back (total of 8km) the answer was relatively easy to locate but the area could do with a weed-eater being used around it answer has been messaged to the Cache Owner well go ahead & log pending the receipt of the all clear pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN except photos:LN not even footprints:S no L ... #4,911 for us!
A wet start to the day again. Today mainly Roturoa and Taupe to discover. Lots of caches and adventures! TFTC Wilbert67
We travelled near and far, Were on a short holiday with Wilbert67, grabbing caches along the way, seeing sites that we havent been to before. Thanks to all the COs for their placements.Greeting from Australia This was a hard slog in the rain
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.
As youngest team member of team GO_Jack, I want to do some virtuals during my six-month trip to New Zealand and Japan.Today I hiked to the top of Mount Ngongotah. Of course I also did this vitual. Answer has been sent. Thank you very much for this beautiful walk.Greetings from The Netherlands.#3.560 - mga TFTC!
Mr CNQ did a determined stroll up the hill in the late afternoon and collected the required information. Great walk for a virtual cache thanks mga.
First stop of the day and the most rewarding, a hike up a hill in fine weather. With an early start, took off from the car park and stopped for a photo according to my GPS adjacent to an old airfield. Anyways the sheep have taken over the maintenance and we went forward to the top to retrieve the magical survey mark number. Info forwarded to the CO, thanks for keeping the old virtual active mga.
Day 9: We ( TeamARF, Gcoven and myself) have travelled over from Brisbane, Australia to have a visit since we were not able to make it to the Mega. We have spent some considerable time solving puzzles and making plans in preparation. We have a gigantic list of old, interesting, highly favourited, challenges and a few Geo-arts to try and collect over the next 10 days. There is a good chance we got lazy with our logging, or space saving depending on the log size and do some joint variation of our initials - TGJ, GJT or JGT.
Today the plan is to work on collecting things of our list - some of the very old caches in the area as we head back north towards Auckland. We are also picking up a few challenges (will check qualifying once home).
Please excuse the generic log, just have extremely little data to try and survive on it for the 10 days. However, you can be assured that if we have found your cache it was special to us for some reason or in a special location - so thank you for contributing to our holiday.
I will edit logs when back in Brisbane to add more details to those that need more details and of course I will be adding favourite points as I go along.

TeamARF sending answer for this on behalf of our team. TeamARF, JACSTeam and I had a fab day collecting oldies and challenges on our last two days of our trip. Thanks to all COs for a fab range of caches and the adventures.
Day 13 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today we are in the area and surrounding area of Rotorua. We also visited this Virtual.

spent 6 great weeks in New Zealand with my The start was a bit bumpy (Cyclone Gabrielle) but then it got better and better. We travelled to both islands and discovered a lot. We photographed and filmed many beautiful things, but most of it stayed in our hearts.
Almost everywhere we stopped, a cache was already waiting for us. Most of the caches are well maintained and easy to find.
With mostly very nice weather, we saw a lot of this impressive island. In many places, caches were waiting for us, which were sometimes easy and sometimes difficult to find. This cache was also included and was successfully signed
We puzzled a lot in advance and the tours were well prepared
So this box was also well found.
now I have another on my personal cache card.
many thanks to [^] **The Artful Dodger** [^] for the effort and the cache and greetings from Germany

I decided to take a walk this morning before the cyclone moves in. This is a beautiful spot to walk! Thanks to mga for this one! 8:07 AM
Out exploring Rotorua and surrounds with Carø. Great views even with the rainy weather. TFTC and bring me here
We walked today on the top. For the way up we used the forest trail. For down the long street. In valley we go by bus in the city.
This was a lovely walk on an overcast but still warm day. A nice variety of scenery from farmland to bush. Answers sent in by barefootguru. TFTC mga!
We sidetracked from Tauranga for this and the other old virtual. The walk up took almost an hour, including the 2 tricky trads. It was a slog but D enjoyed the slow incline and paved road Looks like a temporary mountain bike bridge over the road. Lunch at the top, then an easier return journey. Answer sent in, thanks mga!
Beautiful day for a walk up the Jubilee Track. Didn't realize what a slog it was! TFTC.
We found this cache a long time ago. But forget about boxes. Replies were sent on 4/22/21 by “Der Wombat”.

We made it ! No view at the top but I look forward to the view on the way down. I emailed the answer to the CO and JDScout for us.
I am on a North Island Figure of Eight your. For the first 4 days I spend time in the Bay of Plenty with my husband JDScout. We are basing ourselves in Rotorua during this time.
Thanks mga for creating this hide. It was find 8898 for me.

I stopped off for this aged cache while on a loop, up the Jubilee Track and down the road. It's a shame the summit is so... industrial. I found the answer to the question without too much trouble, then started my way down the hill. Nice views but the sun was too low over the lake (it was just after dawn) to get any photos. TFTC.
First road trip since COVID-19 and we headed to Rotorua for a long weekend. Nice gradual walk to the top, but not much to see from here now that the trees have grown taller. Great views on our trip back down to the car. Answers have been sent to the CO.
In Rotorua for the weekend with Jag50 for the GC45 plaque event so collecting as many caches as we can. We were expecting an amazing view at the top but were disappointed all we could see was bush and transmitters. A stunning day for a walk though and we got the views on the way back down. Answer sent to CO on our behalf
Came up here with FMZ after the GC45 tribute plaque celebration event. Lovely views on the way up and a fun ride up the hill and back down (carefully on the slippery road through the bush, and then zooming down the rest of the road!). Thanks!
Came for a ride up here, with boneybruce, on the bike after the GC45 tribute plaque celebration event. A bit chilly, but a nice ride up and an even nicer ride back down again. Great views from the road on the way up and down. Nice to finally get up here and make a find on this old virtual. TFTC!!!
A short walk from our house to the Jubilee track, and once we got to the tip of that I remembered the virtual cache lurking nearby. Was nice to be able to log a cache while in lockdown.
We practised "social distancing" for the first time - meaning we went caching and choose a cache with more than 1 hour walking included. At the car park was only our car and we were completely alone here in that area for more than 90 minutes. What a fine afternoon!
We picked this oldie cache because it fills another empty spot in our Jasmer statistic - and we loved the views. It was more windy than we thought, but the higher you get, it gets overgrown and the wind was no problem any longer. We felt a bit like at "Tour de France", where in the mountains the roads get smaller and smaller - with fans on both sides of the road. But you go further up - and finally (for the last kilometer) the road widens again - and than there is the goal line
The view at the top is ..... okay, it does not exist. So we took the picture of the antenna like all other cachers do - and went down again. Here we got some fine views over Lake Rotorua.
Thank you for the oldie cache, we loved the hike!

Awesome, unfortunatly no view but still good to go up. A make a big loop by forest then road.
The Virtual "Frequency City" caught our attention. We had some time, so we hiked up the mountain to this oldie.
On the way we searched and found "An Artistic Approach II & III". Unfortunately, we could not search for number I, because Muggels photographed birds.
Many thanks to the owners for setting and maintaining the cache.

My last day in NZ and a few last target caches to find.
On the way up this mountain to get to the virtual I spent ages looking for #1 without luck, just as long on #2 but eventually got there and #3 was thankfully an instant find. That just left the slog to the top! Thankfully the slope isnt too bad and on the way back down got some amazing views with the morning mist/cloud still on the north-east side of the lake.
Nicely done!

The weather was promising not to be good, but there is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing, right? Nice walk up in the spitting rain, as we could not leave this one alone, right? It started breaking up as we were heading down, giving us great views of Mokoia Island. Long swim for Hinemoa! TFTC!!
Had a great walk up here today although it was very cold. Superb views here TFTC

After lunch the goal was to find this Virtual cache at the top of this hill.
What we didn't realise is that the road is blocked off.
Luckily we had the trusty e-bikes on the back so while Ms M had a snooze I hopped onto the bike and went for a ride.
Very enjoyable when you're cycling up at 20km/h. A good thing that there are some nice views on the way because the view at the top was non-existent.
Found the marker quickly and headed back down the mountain.

We stayed some days in Rotorua. We really like the hot water. We also visited this virtuell and found with some help the requested sign. Thanks for the cache!
It was a rather hot slog up the road once out of the bush but at least there were good views all around. On arrival at GZ I missed seeing the plaque initially hidden by long grass. A short time later it was found and duly noted, although a little confusing. Answer to CO. Tftc.

On our 32nd day in New Zealand we stayed in Rotorua. Main aim today was to visit some of these very interesting geothermal sites. Again we were also looking for some caches but a main aim was to do some earth caches. We spent a wonderful day, weather was great and even though there were everywhere a lot of people we could see all we wanted.
We walked up here and enjoyed the beautiful view on the way. We were a bit disappointed that from the top there was no view at all. We could find the point sent the answer to the cache owner.

After a really long hike, I got to the top of the hill. I had a nice view of the microwave tower. I used to do work with these, so I guess I am weird that way. I sent my answer to the CO. TFTvC

i have had this on my must do caches list for a while now and TODAY was the day to grab it as I was on my annual pilgrimage to see my mum for her birthday so a not so quick detour had the cache bagged TFTVC
I had a free day in Rotorua, so I visited the volcanic area, red wood forest and Mount Ngongotaha. I had an awesome day enjoying these cool places, and I also could find some nice Caches on my way.
I was a bit disappointed that there was no view at all at the top, but the way was really cool!
Found the needed information pretty quick and made my way back.
Thanks for hiding!

A must do cache for me today, one of the main reasons I came down from Auckland was to come and visit this one, but alas.... I forgot to bring my e-bike! So when I parked up in the carpark there was nothing for it but to walk... walk... walk... I later measured the walk to the top and back (on Google Earth) it came to 6454m, so that's 3227m each way. So naturally I was kicking myself for forgetting the bike.
Got to the top, weather was cool but no rain, got some good fotos of the lay of the land and off course the geodetic number! Sent a selfie to a few people then before I got cold I moved on quickly. Thanks for the virtual mga.

We had luck and didn't need to walk. Thanks for the great view!

Seeing an old virtual we arranged to get up the hill. The necessary information was soon spotted and sent off. TFTC.
I'd been in class until 5 all week and with an improved forecast and an earlier finish it was looking good for a cache or two. I got away from Putaruru at 3 and headed towards Rotavegus. Within a few minutes it bucketed down and clearly was settling in. Found the right road and gate was shut so a quick march up the hill, I prefer short and steep especially when light fading but this was definitely a slow meander, a bike would have been useful given time available. Tried for one of the traditional in area but after 5 mins realised I needed to stick to virtual or I be in total darkness. Walk took what CO suggested and information sent through.TFTVC
#5644. A group of us headed up Mt Ngongotaha today to pick up a few traditional caches and the virtual cache. The others were not geocachers but were happy to help with the searching. The rain was threatening but luckily stayed away for the trip up and down the hill. Quite a walk up to the top. Very different to my last visit here several decades ago when there was a tower on top you could climb. Soon found the plaque. Will email the CO with the details. Shame the view is gone and the fog today would have precluded a view regardless. But nice to walk along the bush fringed road. Thanks for the virtual cache mga.
We attempted, but gate was locked and we did not have the time to commit to the hike. Too bad.
Parked in the carpark and walked up to this cache, met some cyclists and walkers on their way down as we were going up. Great views from some spots on the way down. Answer sent to CO. Thank-you mga for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Greetings from England, TFTC.
On my way to Te Aroha to stay the night, but made the detour to find this cache. I think it was almost 2 hours there and back, and the finding of the other caches along the way.
Once I got to the top I could see now why the cache got its name
After taking a couple of pictures, it was time to find the marker, thankfully it did not take me too long, and I was on my way back to the car.
Thank you mga for the hide, and bringing me up here, I have been wanting to visit for a long time, and today was the day. Answer has been sent to CO.

Got to Rotorua early in the afternoon, so decided to get the virtual at the top of the hill. Along the way I found 3 of the 4 traditionals. It was a great hike, but longer than I thought it would be. surprised that there are not any views from the top, too much vegetation. Great views along the way though. TFTC
VikingNav and I enjoyed our time here on the mountain. The gate was closed, so a hike up was necessary. The views were nice, but it's getting a little overgrown in areas up here. The sheep are always fun to watch. VikingNav has sent the required information for both of us. Thanks for keeping this great virtual going for us to enjoy! >^..^
Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro'. She is now Carø and I now have my own geocaching profile so we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
Over from Aus for a couple of weeks to catch up with family and do a bit of sight seeing. And now that we ate geocaches, naturally it all involves finding a few caches along the way!
After a week with family in Napier and a night in Taupo, we have a big day of driving and sight-seeing today with a list full of caches to find as we head north to Rotorua then back down to Te Kuiti and up to Otorohanga. Our list of finds for the day including this one.
Jess decided to stay in the car, read a book and guard our things, haha. It was quite a walk up for sure but what suoer views and not a single muggle in sight there or back. Answer has been sent. Pic will be added when I have proper Wi-Fi.
Thanks for this virtual cache, MBA.

I'm travelling around NZ for 7 weeks, using geocaching as my tour-guide. Today my plan was to drive towards East Cape, so I stocked up with groceries and checked out from the guesthouse. I was just gonna go quickly up to the virtual cache at MtNgongo. The naturetrail was so beautiful, and it had many nice caches, so it took a bit longer than expected. When I got back to the car, I was so hungry, never knowing when the next warm meal would be, so I decided to drive back to Rotorua and have lunch there. Then I got on the internet and got a bit restless, have I really seen everything in Rotorua? No, I have to quickly check out the green and blue lake. And have a look at the buried village. Then I saw the 3 interesting caches in the forest behind the blue lake, 2 large buckets and a nice d/t-combo. I'll just quickly run up there before I drive. Well, as usual, nothing is as quick as expected when finding geocaches, so by the time I got back to Rotorua, it was already evening. I checked in again at the guesthouse, and the woman who runs it had a good laugh. Well, at least I had a good day geocaching in Rotorua, finding 12 caches and actually 6 different cachetypes.
About this cache:
I walked the nature trail and the jubilee-track to get to this cache. I didn't have any views, but the caches and the nature trail were really nice on the way up, so it was worth it. Thank you for keeping this virtual alive. Greetings from Norway

#2305 I parked at the carpark. Took 1 hour to walk to the summit. 3.74km. I saw 5 muggles walking down and 3 cycling up. At GZ, I took some happy snaps and went back down. Tomorrow back to Auckland, Friday back home to Canberra. TFBMH.
Great walk up to the top...I feel the best views were the unobstructed ones over the lake on the way down...enjoyed the cache thanks
We spent night in our motor home up in the hills. This morning we turned left instead of right and decided to do the trail to the top. We just hoped there was parking for us at the gates and were pleasantly surprised at how much room there was. The road up from there seemed to take forever to reach the top. About 3km up i think. Nice to knick thus one off though. Thanks for bringing us here mga.
We had the great chance to travel around New Zealand during six weeks and were able to see wonderful cities, landscapes and meet nice Kiwis. While staying in NZ many cache owners gave us the opportunity to search for very well hidden treasures and we thank them very much for preparing and maintaining them.

Spontaneously with my muggle pal we hiked the serpentines to the very top in hope for a fantastic view.
But there was none
Nevertheless the views on the path itself were great and I got the opportunity for finding the right number to solve this virtual requirement.
Thanks and many regards from Germany.
