Spotted the cache from across the way. Quick grab. Signed. Last cache for the morning. Im rehabbing a torn meniscus so limited to short walks for now. The magpies on the cricket field were singing beautiful songs this morning. Anyway, back to my AirBnB. Im in town to watch the big car race down in Bathurst. Wanted somewhere quiet to stay between days of listening to loud cars. TFTC
A cool and fun day of caching around the Central Tablelands. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location. Lots of logs scrunched in thereThanks!
An enjoyable long weekend caching with friends around the Southern Tablelands.Quick find in a beautiful location. TFTC drobbonz!
Our first full day in Orange, and a chance to do some serious caching. We had quite a number of pre-solved caches on our agenda as well as others in the area. Our journey took us through a range of different sections of the town; residential, business, retail and some great parks and wetlands areas. We encountered some good hides which we awarded favorites as well as some challenges and straightforward finds. The weather was perfect but as usual got cold all of a sudden later in the day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache drobbonz.**SKI Pair****
Had a good laugh at the kids trying to be sneaky on this 1, they were not as sneaky as they thought
Catching up with some late logs.We are traveling with Geoturtle 37, Papi4506 & The Drovers to do an assault on Orange and are picking up a few caches along the way.Today we headed to Orange for a days caching and this series was on our must do list to see what we can find of the ones that have not been archived. They were not as quick as we thought they might be but we can say we managed to get our stamp into the log of all the ones we searched for.We did enjoy this series and the different hides. Many thanks for placing these caches for our enjoyment. To save room in the log books we stamped as The Mob,Please excuse the cut and paste log but it is now hard to remember each one individually.
Day 3 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today we did a lot of country driving, and included Orange in our travels. The scenery was lovely with the trees turning a multitude of different colours for winter. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped to find along the way.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, drobbonz, for us and others to find.
Quick find here. Thanks for the cache. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Adelaide to Broken HillDay two. Broken Hill to WellingtonDay three. Wellington to CowraDay four. Cowra to BathurstDay five. Bathurst to CanberraDay six. Canberra to CanberraDay seven. Canberra to QueenbeeyanDay eight. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Stopped by this one on the way to work, and once it was soon discovered where the cd he would be hiding, it was just a matter of waiting for a break in traffic to grab it. Log is looking a little worse for wear though.

Weather: certainly cooler in Orange!
Greetings from a transiting South Australian.
I’ve only ever been to Orange once before, and now I’m just wandering randomly and picking up a few trads in the last light of the day.

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
A few days away in Orange, visits to wineries and some Geocaching. An ideal mix of activities for the Atalantas.
This cache was third on our list and close to the park.

Second full day in Orange on travels from TAS to back ‘o Bourke and other places. Much nicer day today, so caching continues in more pleasant conditions. Another good ‘un in plain sight, and a quick and easy drive by. TFTC drobbonz
Booked in at the Royal and found that I had at least an hour left of light, so headed down for this series. Most found. I must have said “gnoo blas” to myself a hundred times in that hour, but only made a connection to Canobolas while sitting here eating my dinner. Tftcs
We were visiting Orange for the day and started caching here. Couldn't believe how close we ended up parking to the cache. TFTC drobbonz
Collecting a few caches along the way today.

Having been up here to see midnight oil play at a winery, I guess this is an appropriate series to do. Tftc
We are out for a drive for the afternoon and decided we couldn't resist trying a couple of the new Gnoo Blas caches. I found it was hard to pretend to tie shoe laces when wearing velcro! TFTC
We are out for a short break on a lovely day. We had lunch in the reserve up the road and stopped for a couple of Caches on the way home. Nice hide - thanks.
Sent for drinks so an opportunity for a couple more caches. This was the closest to my relatives and I reckon I got an earlier version of this cache. No one about snd spotted from the car so a quick find,

This morning we chose to tour some of the outlying area of the region. Many small towns visited.
This was a good way to tour the area. A good variety of hides & caches found.

A quick find on a caching trip to Orange with Sophiescout and AussiePuschak’s TFTC
Quick find but loads of muggles luckily they were all preoccupied with their tiny muggles and not interested in me.
This was a long day as I was out with Irondale and Malfromthefarm scouting out places to hide caches and also cleaning up our map radius for smileys before I headed onto Orange for work the next day. We had an early morning for the FTF on the Portland history, a coffee and a scone with jam and cream for brekkie. Then lunch was fried chicken and chippies and a doughnut for a snack. No wonder I’m finding it hard to fit into the car!!!
At some point I managed to get up to 10000 steps so maybe I burnt off jut a scone? TFTC

On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very hot, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Molong and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
Not too hard to find, but very exposed.
Thanks drobbonz

Tftc drobbonz, quick park and grab for this one. In Orange for the day. Hoping to add to the smiley tally.
Easy find, TFTC. Completed this on last day of holiday. We will he driving back to Sydney tonight and I'm already dreading heading back to work.
Thankfully, the car park was deserted today and we were able to pluck out the cache unobserved.
Thanks for the great series drobbonz.

We took a day trip to Orange while staying in Bathurst and figured we should probably grab ourselves a cache or two. Nice easy find here fit the bill nicely!
Had time for a quick circuit of the top half of the park before heading home.
All caches attempted were found and in good condition although we didn't attempt a couple which had a few DNFs logged recently. TFTC and the pleasant walk on a beautiful day drobbonz.

We parked near the soccer fields and walked the loop to collect the Gnoo Blas caches and a few other ones along the way. We found 14 caches altogether and only had one DNF. There was a great variety of containers and hides and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk. The whole circuit took two and half hours although we did sit by the lake for a while and had some morning tea.

Quick find...once I chose the correct one. Nice and quiet at 0830 on a public holiday. Furkids were happy to get out and about for a bit. TFTC.
