Out and about with HappyTakahe on a road trip, doing some exploring while we wait for the rain to ease and roads to reopen. Unfortunately with the weather there were no views today but an interesting spot all the same. Tftc
A lovely find, unfortunately no views for us today, but we did get to hear the wind really howling through the towers, impressive!
Spent the day meandering around Cocoparra and called in to log this geocache and investigate some of the historic heritage nearby. TFTC!!
TFTC came up looking for a view, a little onscured by the trees. Found it, managed to find a spot to squeeze in a log. Would love to know the history of GZ location. TNLN
Nice easy find.
The log big is full but I did not have a spare that size with me.
Thank you for bringing us to this spot.
TNLN, T4TC.
Cheers,
Ric

On a bird watching trip to add a few species to my annual list - Round Hill is the ultimate goal but tonight planning to bush camp in Cocoparra NP near Griffith. Got away a bit late but still a few bird watching spots on the way and time for some caches as well.
Last one for the day and turned into a night cache. Dodged 3 Roos on the way up (seemed longer than I remember) and a quick climb and find. Made certain I didn’t drop any part. Good to see a threatened species (Ponaderris cocoparrana- only found here) thriving at GZ (in fact directly under it).
92 species seen so far (and Australian Owlet-nightjar calling while I log at my call at Store Creek).

Thanks heaps for the cache, which was found nice and quickly, log is getting pretty full but i managed to initial the paper. Thats one masaive antenna!.
Griffiths Trip Day 2. I packed up my car for a two day drive out to Griffiths and back. Today I continued from near Narrandera to Leeton, Griffiths, Yanga and then Temora for a roadside camp after running out of day light. I visited a wide collection of caches plus a very rough run up to a hilltop cache.
I enjoyed my trip up here, the track is very civilised and there was a good trig at the top as well.
Thanks for the cache TheScoutWizard

Stunning spot love the views, was up here working took a quick lunch walk and had it. Thank you for the fun little caches.
Found easily with DangerQueen. Camped at Woolshed flat, then after this got really bogged for a few hours.
Wow this was my favourite cache in Griffith area this trip by far! Despite the track being extremely wet and the car covered in mud all up the doors and the rims turning brown! That was half the fun though!
Then the road turned to bitumen, which I was extremely thankful for. I don’t think the 2WD car I was in would have been able to have the traction to get up a wet dirt road otherwise, especially with the little power it had.
I then enjoyed looking at the towers, and the very unique trig point. Never seen a trig structure like this before! I love climbing too, so going up the ladder and finding the cache was awesome fun.
Thanks for putting a cache up here, well worth it! A favourite point from me

Travelled here for the weekend for a break and to visit family. We went for a drive around the area and came out to Mt Bingar for a drive with a cousin to check out some tracks and the views. The views are amazing our here, and so are the tracks...
On the way up my usual GeoChauffer as if there were any cache up here, I was already checking. Found it and was reading the details and previous logs.
Climbed the highest of ladders to reach the extra largest caches, then it took all my might just to put my autograph on the very small log that was on this over size sheet of paper. Once I had done that I then had to slide all the way back down to the bottom of the shortest of slides to get back out of the tree tops so we return to our home base.
Thanks for the fun out there TheScoutWizard and on here to, All good with the cache and the log inside..... LilDonna_

Came up here today to enjoy the views. I wasn't disappointed, even if there are a lot of trees getting in the way. Found the trig station first then went for a wander around up here looking down. Beautiful. Then stopped to find this cache before driving back down the hill and on to Woolshed Falls. Driving back down the hill the views down over the fields below are pretty cool too.
Thanks for the cache and fun climbing around it.

A family outback camping trip. The goal was Lake Mungo but as we got informed about road closures while on the way we had to change plans and made it only to Cocoparra NP. WE loved the country side and wildflowers, Budgies, Emus and lots of other Birds we saw. A great trip with a number of caches along the way (collecting a few counties) and I for one certainly am keen for more.
We decided to a little side trip to this cache on our way back from Griffith to the camp site. It looked like there was good reception up here and Wilma had another phone call.
Certainly enough reception was also pretty view and a crazy large tower, Trig point and nice cache awaited us.
Thank you TheScoutWizard for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it TheScoutWizard.
A sneaky weekend escape to this nice little park. All the flowers are looking spectacular. Easy find. Tftc
Found! The cache is a bit corroded but the log was still okay. One side of the log roll is almost full. There was no o-ring seal and I didn't have any spares. Signed by the_beccentric and I. Thanks for showing us this spot!
I started the day by doing the new ‘Locationless Labcaches’ (https://project-gc.com/Home/PGC-AdventureLab?fbclid=IwAR3ZTMW6QWWPQZPrhuRvURy_U2FtJxVeZPAV8a7-HsQnsvsI7orZ_rwqJfk) that were created by Project GC. After making those five finds, I decided on going for a drive. With a few FTF’s up for grabs in and around Griffith plus a couple of other caches which have popped up since the last time I was there, I headed out. I ended up with 12 finds, two DNF’s and a NA. I also enjoyed visiting all the locations that today’s caching took me plus many different hides that made me think in creative ways. TB visit on all found caches and on some of the smaller logbooks/sheets I signed as 23/1 JM. Thank you to all CO’s of the caches I found today for allowing them to bring me and the rest of the caching community much joy. TFTC ‘s even the ones I didn’t find.
In all are travels we would not have even thought to traveled to this location.
(Ha Ha). In your dreams, these cachers do.

Found while visiting the area and camped at Woolshed Flats camp ground. Interesting structure! Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Quick easy find, though it could be bigger for these arthritic fingers! We walked all the way to here from Spring Hill Picnic Ground way down south - a quite challenging walk with some areas of very thick scrub, but awesome views. TFTC!
We are heading from Sydney to Wollongong mega via a very round about route with ilook4geo. As we were travelling towards Griffith we decided to put this unfound cache on the program. Hmmm. We approached this from the north and found a very interesting (read wet, sometimes boggy, quite rough, challenging) route being the Whitton Stock Route. Mostly tried to follow tracks made by another vehicle. The track also included some bypass tracks where the main track was quite impassable. However, we survived it all and the long suffering caravan followed faithfully behind.
After dropping off the caravan at Woolshed Flat camp area, where we were going to spend the night, we headed out on a late afternoon excursion. The road getting to the cache was in much better condition and easily driven. Arrived at GZ to find only one muggle vehicle there. Saw where we needed to look and the cache was soon in hand. Woohoo! The joint (FTF) was ours.
Started off the log with both names, replaced the container as it was found and headed back to camp. Thanks go to TheScoutWizard for this opportunity and a favourite point given for the (FTF).

Came along to this cache in the late afternoon with goingplaces2, but probably chose the wrong way to get to it. But we still had a good day and found the cache easily enough for a joint (FTF), once we arrived at GZ. Used the recommended tool to access the cache. Fav point added for the (FTF) and TFTC.
