Sorry have just remembered I need to log this one Thanks for an enjoyable event boxhill Always good fun to catch up with keen cachers
Thanks for hosting the event. Glad I braved the rain, as I got some intel on a nemesis!
Great to catch up with a number of people, including CO. Thanks for organising boxhill!
Great to catch up with everyone and to catch up again with Busypaws who is visiting from Christchurch. Thanks for organising the event Boxhill, most enjoyable.
Thanks yet again for organizing this event boxhill. Great to catch up with everyone again.
#972. The southerly storm kept a few away, but the hardiest of us enjoyed this boxhill Event. Nice to see you all, including some I hadn’t met before. Tfte boxhill.
Thanks boxhill, we have missed catching up with the welly crowd on IGD but today's weather did remind why we moved back to the fairer isle. Thanks for organising and nice to see all.
In Wellington to visit Granddaughter. Just had to get a few smiles along the way. Nice venue and lively company for a stranger, - I had met Flowery daze and hubby before, great to catch up again. Thanks for organising, such a pity the weather was foul!
#7341. Great to make it to an event finally. I have missed quite a few of the recent ones organised as I was out of town a lot in past 2 months. Am slowed down now however with the recent shoulder surgery. No driving cars for at least 6 weeks. Be interesting to see how many caches I can fit in during that period. Great to meet some new cachers and catch up with the regulars. Good to share stories of fun adventures and pick up a few more tips on tricky caches. Thanks for organising boxhill. We started geocaching on International geocaching day back in 2014 - not that we knew anything about it at the time!
A great opportunity to meet up with others at a good venue on a very wet mid day.
A great wee gathering. Enjoyed matching the real person with their geocaching name.
Thanks for another great event, boxhill! Enjoyed catching up with many fellow geonerds.
(#5262) Attended this well attended event. Good turnout despite the rough weather. It was great to catch up with everyone again. Thanks boxhill for organising.
Great to meet up with old friends and new ones at this event. Thanks Boxhill for organising once more.
Cache # 4,811 - came along with CelloJoss, and it was brilliant to see everyone who showed up. Been a bit between caches for me, so nice to see most of the old gang still around, despite GSEL's arm in a sling! TFTE!
Tagged along with The Wandering Dragons, and scored a spot by the fire. A nice warm spot on a very cold and wet day. Thanks!
Another well attended International Geocaching Day Event. By the time the Event started the weather was pretty grotty outside, this was a very pleasant way to while away a couple of hours keeping warm in front of the fire. I enjoyed chatting to folk. Thanks very much to all those who made the time to come along. Cheers Geoff
Another year, another great International Geocaching Day event organised by boxhill. Always a good time to catch up with the regulars and meet some new faces, even if the weather was quite grotty. TFTE
Glad I dragged myself out into the grotty weather to this event. Lovely to meet some new faces and to catch up with some familiar ones too. Thanks for the event boxhill
I will be there. A week after surgery on my shoulder (so can't shake any hands). Wasn't sure if this would cause problems for attending but it seems I should be OK for tomorrow. Cheers GSEL
Just a quick update for Saturday’s Event. As in previous years there will be some tables put aside for us in the bar area. Look for the ones reserved for “Geoff”.
As Event Caches are for everyone no FTF for this event.
Cheers Geoff

SJT_NZ and I are in Welly for weekend so while the geocaching has taken a back seat for a few months hope to be able to get along to this event.
I'll be there at the beginning for about half an hour then will need to run away and audition actors.
I have just found confirmation on the Geocaching Blog that there is a souvenir this year to quote the Blog
"Celebrate geocaching! Log any geocache or attend an event on Saturday, August 17, 2019, and earn the International Geocaching Day souvenir."
