GC8AD2V Hollow Barrel MakerOut for a day of caching with KerriMG as we both have the day off. Quick find here. Lovely views. TFTC Team_Weller
Looked around for a while in the grass and fighting off a wrath of spiders but were unable to find it
Some great views of the nearby lake from the end of this road, and I reflected on my morning's paddle to that same area. My attention turned to this rather cool hollow tree, and upon searching for a reasonable amount of time, I deduced that the cache was likely missing as also noted by the couple of DNFs before me. Rather than leave it missing, I decided to leave a replacement to keep this cache going, so an Eclipse mint container was left in a spot about waist height, and I covered it with natural camouflage. Thanks [Team_Weller](https://coord.info/PRH3MTA) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, a scheduled Lake Kurwongbah paddle by way of the [Kurwongbah Breakfast Paddle](https://coord.info/GCAH20P) event was the morning's plan, and I joined a small group of keen participants who braved the slight drizzle that occurred. Following a couple of priority geocaches in Petrie and Joyner, we parted ways with a bakery coffee and savoury/sweet.With no other definitive plans, I then took an anti-clockwise circuit of Lake Kurwongbah, travelling through Kurwongbah, Dakabin, and Narangba, before returning south and stopping off at various scenic vantage points over the respective lake and Lake Samsonvale nearby. It was then a final walk through Mungarra Reserve finding a few witches, and then I made my way south back home.
Tftc team Weller, nice outlook from here , all good with the cache
HQ has said they will give us 3 souvenirs if we find 100 caches this month. With less than 2 weeks to go we have come south to make the finds.

Heading out to my sister's for Australia Day, I thought I would grab a couple of caches on the way. We had a wonderful family lunch, and then I drove my other sister home - so took the chance to grab some on the way back.
Thank you heaps for bringing me to this place, the scenery was beautiful and I never knew it was here. A quick grab once the coordinates stopped bouncing. TFTC

I made a quick find then stared wistfully down the hill where the kayak cache is only 350m away. Thanks for the fun Team_Weller
We went for a nice drive around the area this morning before the forecasted rain event arrives and this is a cache we found. All good with this one, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Team_Weller for the cache.
Team_Weller I found your cache Hollow Barrel Maker on 26/9/2022, 11:15 am. This is my find 4283 and find # 1 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Easy find and thankfully someone put a rock nearby which made my retrieval easier. TFTC
#1 for this wet rainy day. Looked for this one once before but it was missing. Glad its been replaced. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
On the Northside of Brisbane to get some much needed caches and this happened to be on my list. Parked the car close to GZ and didn't see the grump. Banged my head as i went to look for cache. Quick find in an obvious spot. I left my signature before I replaced as found. TFTC
Popped out to check a couple of my caches and this one had disappeared.
Put up a replacement, so it's good to go.

At someone’s property.. didn’t find and I think we’ll leave this one Baha -the homos
Pretty unexpected spot, nice find. Hope the old man's not given any trouble. TFTC
We were on our way to another cache and found ourselves on a detour. The road crossing near Narangba station was shut while a bunch of dudes in high-viz stood around seeing who looked the best leaning on their shovels.
Forget buff firefighters making a calendar with their shirts off, the true thing we need is a calendar of road workers sucking on their durries as they pose with shovels. I know my loins feel ticklish.
So we had to take a long detour along the train line and as we waited for some traffic trying to cross it, I asked Mrs Woodyrothwell if there were any caches close by. She found this hide and I asked her to navigate me close. After she had to do something on Instagram I finally got the correct instructions on where to go and soon had the log stamped. tftc

we took in the view of the lake as we waited for the muggle to leave. Nice view. Cache and log all good.
Nice view of the lake from here. We got to really appreciate it as we waited for a neighbour to disappear back down her driveway before hitting GZ for a speedy retrieval. TFTC Team_Weller
Wouldn’t you know it? As we arrived, the lady who owns the house nearby was walking down her driveway towards the front gate. So, we headed over to the fence ostensibly to admire Lake Kurwongbah, which seems to be much higher than usual, judging by the amount of grass you can see poking above the water. While we stood there ostentatiously taking photographs and discussing the lake she continued to hang around the gate calling for a dog that was missing. She finally headed back down the driveway; whereupon The Marble quickly made the find and DisSister retrieved it from the spider-encrusted area, being a bit taller. Just as we were extracting the logbook, the lady came back down as the dog had got out the front gate so we had to hustle across to the car and pretend to be looking at maps or something until she disappeared again and we were able to return it. A bit more adventurous than we had been expecting.

Quick stop in on the way home from North Lakes. Had to wait for a local to enter his property before jumping out and making the find. Had picked the location on arrival and was an easy grab. TFTC
Accurate coordinates made this an easy find . All's good at gz . Thanks Team_Weller
A quiet peaceful Wednesday was ideal to stop here and make a quick find here...
It does appear though that someone didn’t quite make it to the end of the road...

Out for the day with @1MinnieMoo and @Nyssaflutterby for my birthday
We spent a lovely day driving around Lake Samsonvale.
Nice to turn this one into a smiley after a DNF here a while back.

Finally able to catch up on logging caches found earlier in the year. Today, I was lucky enough to be out for a terrific day of caching with barbbowman, Raynersinoz and bubba89 in her new car
We found the cache easily enough and with our names added to the log book, we continued on our way
Thank you Team_Weller for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

After a successful day of caching, I made this one the last for the day. 1600 woohoo!!!
A quick find in fading light, was glad to get back to the warm car.
All is good with the cache, I love it's sneaky hiding spot.
Thanks Team_Weller for bringing me there. All is well with the cache.

No grumpy old man around today unless you count the one who found the cache!! Signed log and returned as found. Great view of the lake from up here. TFTC Team_Weller
Out for a quick pedal around and a hunt for some smileys. Don't suppose the locals were even aware of my presence here, sneaking up quietly on the bike.
A trip up from the Gold Coast and meeting up with a lovely group of geo friends in search of a few caches in this local area.
Nearly stepped on the large deceased snake outside our car door which was beside GZ, hope the wildlife take care of it real soon. Neat hide here though.

Out geocaching in the area with geofriends targetting caches on our to-get list. Stopped here to grab this cache when there was a cry "snake!".... luckily for us (not the snake) he was no longer alive. Found the cache SL then returned as found. A bit of excitement for the day.

Out and about caching with friends today. Parked the cars (and near one was a dead snake). Walked towards GZ thru long grass (we could have hidden in it and no one would know we were there). Also I wonder as I am writing this , how many live snakes there were - luckily we did not see any. Cache found and log signed. TFTC Team_Weller.
Hatzofff, Snickersallan, Richmond Lad and patrol14 are with me caching some more on the north side.
We all rocked up and Hatzofff pulled her foot back into car before realizing the cache guardian was dead.
Log signed and replaced on January 30, 2020 at 10:00 AM. TFTC, Team_Weller.

Stopped by with Wombles. As we pulled up near GZ we noticed a lady standing right by where we believed the cache to be. She was on the other side of the fence and talking on the phone. We pretended to be taking photos of the view and were pointing out landmarks and where we knew caches to be. She was crouched down in front of a large tree and saying "I can see it, I am on my side of the fenceline and I can see it from here, I will wait for you here" I have no idea what she was talking about (cache? snake?) but it was obvious we were not getting this cache today.
Will watch this one... might come back another time.
