All good at GZ. Nice to find all the old machines including the Track Marshall 55. TFTC
After spending 2 days at Copley and 4 days in Arkaroola we were now at Quorn for a couple of days. I woke early this morning and did not want to disturb the others in the group sharing the cabin so I decided I had 2 caches in Quorn to find. I walked to the Lions and Machinery Society Park and after a quick search I located the cache. Thanks for placing the cache for my enjoyment thewhitedoggang
I found it fairly quickly. It was a bit of a stretch to get hold of it, but I eventually got it! Thanks
Found it! Quick find on a cold early morning walk around Quorn. A few caravans set up but all quiet this morning everyone must still be asleep. TFTC!
Today is our 2nd day in South Australia, visiting from Brisbane. We started in Port Augusta and spent the day driving to Hawker and back. This cache was signed on our third return today! Attempt 1 - I could see the cache from the car but a man was fluffing around with the bins and more bins and more... so we decided to come back on our way south much later in the day. Attempt 2 - an emergency toilet trip and MissTT leading us here because of the toilet attribute. No toilet, so a beeline for the ones in town instead.Attempt 3 - quick easy find, not so quick retrieval as it was quite stuck. Got there in the end with a magic stick which we have left on the ground at gz.
Found this with DennisC52 near the local RV park( which we didn't know existed) while we came to town for a wedding. Tftc
Found while out and about with Loopy1972. Thank you thewhitedoggang for the cache.
A day trip to Quorn and surroundings. This was a lovely place to visit and we enjoyed seeing some of the historic machinery here.An interesting description page for this Geocache, and we hope that the accident all those years ago turned out with a full recovery. Thanks thewhitedoggangDomsky
Found it TFTC Found in good condition. Was worried there for a minute....... nano on machinery
Still slowly making our way west back home to WA but a day trip from Melrose to Quorn via Port Augusta is todays plan.Grabbing caches as we go, easier to stop when not towing.TFTC
On an adventure with Boston my geohound from Canberra to Port Augusta via Geelong for my Dad's 80th birthday staying for a few days and today decided to go to Quorn and Wilmington .... love the history here, what quaint little town here saw this cache and had to get it. An easy find so signed the log and placed back for next person to find. Tftc thewhitedoggang
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Visiting Quorn from Port Augusta today.Missed this one on the first sweep and started to move further away, once back at GZ I cant believe we missed it! Tftc
In Hawker for a few days holiday, grabbing a few caches on the way . Today was a trip to Quorn. Missed by myself and the Geokid, so the Geowife came over to cast an eye and found it straight away TFTC
#2252 After a great trip on the Pichi Richi and some lunch in Quorn it was then a leisurely arvo walk around town with the geohounds collecting caches. Well what a horrific incident for Mr Whitedog! And to think this story was overshadowed by Harolds disappearance at the time. TFTC and sharing.
Heading into the Flinders ranges on our exploring trip this was a very nice little overnight stop and only 40m from a cache too! TFTC
Adelaide to Port Lincoln Road Trip!
Day Two: Quorn to Whyalla.
Weather: sensational.
Have I done another cache in this series somewhere? TWDG are jinxed! I assume that all ended well here; certainly seems so from the case notes. I wonder if it was a sleepless night for the admitting doctor. if there are complications, you have to act very quickly. Nowadays a CT would be done to see if there was any worrying internal bleeding.
A brazen hide here I thought.
Thanks for the cache TWDG.
It’s officially a Mega!

We were camped up right here so thought this would be an easy find. After a discussion with the next finder it seems we may have even had our hands on it and didn't even know. Drats, we will find this sneaky bugger next time we are up this way.
Quorn is a lovely town. Loved the medical theme! Hope the splat healed well TFTC
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, a nice quick find in a very interesting spot, thanks for placing this cache
Having to drop off the bird at a friends house in Quorn while we tackle a few days on Eyre Peninsula with Mattycat and Perfect Di gave us the chance to pick up a few around town before hitting the road, not splatted yet, a quick find for this one

I was sure that I had got this one a while back when I was doing some caches around Quorn. Found and logged on the way back from a great weekend in the Flinders around Blinman and camping in Parachilna gorge.
The log was a bit damp but usable.

Met up with the froghoppin couple and with Purrfect Di and Jack to clean some of the colourful little marks from the geomap. A good chance to find some new ones and redeem a few old dnfs too.
A nice quick find - hope it doesn't get the splat as there's some work happening around GZ.
thewhitedoggang we thank you for locating and maintaining the cache on our ever growing SA geo-map

Driving around - searching, spotting strange items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guyess or plain old dumb luck
Plenty of the luck stuff actually !!!
*All the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*

Danger! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Heaps good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Much appreciate you reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!

We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. Geocaching has taken us to so many great places in this beautiful country. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
A different perspective on history. A quick find at GZ, while exploring this area.
Thanks thewhitedoggang for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Quick stop in town to grab a couple of caches. Then we will make our way to Parachilna Gorge for the night.
Found while looking for a toilet, none here. Atleast we found the cache. Tftc SL
Camping in Quorn, what else is there to do while you wait for the pub to serve tea. Walk around and grab a few geocaches. It was a quick walk down from the C/van park to grab this one. Awesome that the locals have put so much work into the area. TFTC
Headed out early with iluvtrekking for a day caching around Quorn. Although chilly in the morning it’s promising to be a lovely day. Quick find thanks the whitedoggang
Found with richlink as part of our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
