Found on our way home from a bush bash geocaching adventure. Kids were getting a bit tired by this point so only finding a few near the road. I will be back to do the rest soon enough I am sure. Cache is in good order. TFTC Saint.Anthony.
Headed out into the forest here to check out the surrounding area, and to grab a at least one cache while out here. Of course my GPS has this as a through road, which it obviously isn't...so I headed around to this end just to check it out. Soon had the cache in hand and the log signed before taking a bit more of a drive around the area. Certainly a few caches out here so another trip is certainly on the cards.
Thanks for this one Saint.Anthony...cache all good.

By the time we reached here, we came across the cache straight away! Signed log at 1:40pm topping off a pleasant caching morning and headed into Creswick for a yummy toasted sandwich and tea. TFTC It was interesting to read the info on the East/West of London even though it had nothing to do with this lovely leafy lane!
Found this one with SciFiRulz and PapaGrouch on our regular school holiday excursion. Nice to get out and about today. TFTC Saint.Anthony
Found with PapaGrouch and MazzyMay. We headed out towards Creswick to find some caches, it was a much nicer day than yesterday, still fresh but the sun was out. While in the area we went for a walk along the path to find the three caches here, a pleasant stoll through the trees. TFTC
We have headed to Ballarat to attend doctor appointments and in our spare time head out to areas that we have not cached in to find the many geocaches that have popped up in the forest areas. Most of the roads were acceptable, some geocachers were on walking/bike riding section which hubby hiked on and I drove the car and would pick him up along the way. All geocaches were found and were in good condition. SL TFTC
A spare moment way from family as the commemorations of geoD's 50 years on this planet enter their third (and final) week.
A nice afternoon stroll through the Australian bush.

Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
So after making it to South Australia, crossing the border and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter I then made my way west along the Eyre Hwy and I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy on which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie.
I then toured the Eyre Peninsula and throughly enjoyed the 2 national parks down the bottom of it.
COVID got in the way and interrupted my dates so the planned Yorke Peninsula part of the trip will have to wait for another time except for Port Germein and Crystal Brook.
Finally recrossed the border back into Vic after being in SA for 3 great weeks near Pinarroo
And stayed at Murryville for the night.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
Heading towards Ballarat to attend the launch of the Ballarat GeoTour which is tomorrow afternoon.
So after reaching my destination for the next 2 nights which is Beaufort I then set the van up and spent the afternoon chasing a few select caches in the outer regions.
After working out how to first get in here I made it to Boundry Rd which is fenced off so I thought I would try Diamond Gully Road and I was able to park near the start of the track.
So now going East to West and I came across this one and now onto the next one.
Thanks Saint.Anthony TFTC.

Found on the way home after a family lunch in Creswick. The rain was intermittent but held off for the entire walk along this nice little track. CIGC. TFTC Saint.Anthony.
Found with McAdies and Geo_Eddie.
I really enjoyed finding this geocache today.
The area is really nice.
Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find.

Found this afternoon with Motndarg. Thanks Saint.Anthony for bringing us here today.
Decided to walk this track as it was a bit damp and didn’t want to get bogged. This cache was found OK with perfect co ords. Signed and continued the walk . TFTH.
I collected this one on the second pass, as the trees were messing with my phone. Perfect caching weather this afternoon TFTC st Anthony
Wow this is so cool! So many amazing black cockatoos here. driving in made me feel like we set off the alarm haha! Really cool place to explore!
Thanks for the cache I managed to get the kids down and back up this track without any conflict it’s a miracle.
A great day to take the dog for a run, he loves running in the bush with all the different smells. Cache was an easy find here. Cigc. Tftc
A early start to meet up with the ever helpful Bushfire as we set off via Inverleigh and Rokewood to check on a couple of caches before catching up with a goodly crowd at Maccas to fortify the inner man before heading to the best organised and attended CITO Here we glued, hammered and painted nearly 60 nesting boxes for small animals to use After that mammoth effort by everyone it was off to find more caches around Ballarat and Creswick Took a very challenging route to arrive here and as we regained a better track saw a road closed sign from where we had come. Needed the 4WD for that bit TFTC Saint Anthony
Saturday has arrived and so has the rain overnight so everything is soggy but we really needed it, but with a very full day planned in Ballarat and Creswick, au.fait and the ageing Bushfire set off early to check out a few of Bushfires caches that are in Inverleigh and then continued our journey inland to Rokewood and then up to Ballarat.
Meeting up with many likeminded folk at Maccas for a breakfast of Bacon and Eggs and a good coffee. Then a caching chat before heading off to Bunnings for one of the best organised CITO’s that I have had the pleasure of being a part of.
I believe we made 53 boxes for small animals to shelter in after their habitat has been burnt and left them little room to hide from their predators. Good on you Bunnings and also all the caching helpers who used the timber, cut to size, nails, glue, paint, aprons, and even ear plugs as the noise from many hammers all nailing these boxes together was rather deafening. Big thanks to Tania and all the Bunnings staff for a terrific job well done.
At lunch time the job was completed thanks to all the willing helpers who maybe for the first time in their lives helped with this rescue mission to help our wildlife.
well done everyone.
Well it is time that we continued our journey and seek out more caches to add to our ever growing list of finds that keep popping up.
This guy was next on our list that required some interesting driving. As we emerged at the other end there was a sign saying that the road we had just come along was closed, ar well we made it with a few scratches added to the White Beast.

TFTC. We were in the area locating a FTF and though we may as well attempt this little series. A quick walk to locate this one. Interesting history about the East End.
Picked this one up after a nearby FTF.
Easy find in good condition.
Thanks Saint.Anthony. We much prefer these types of drives than city muggles.

A nice quick find here today while enjoying some caching time on my RDO. It never ceases to amaze me the places where St.Anthony finds to hide a cache or two in, this laneway being no exception. Enjoyed my walk from East to West today, thx St. Anthony for placing these caches for us to find.
Go to GZ and started searching. Nothing. Then I noticed that the GPS had moved about 20 metres away, and that was where I made an easy find.
After a few events in Ballarat, it was time to pick up a few new caches.

Suscoe headed out here today to reminisce about a visit to London a good few years ago.
We started at the East End and found an overgrown track and a cache.
The rain and drizzle has kept us company all the way from Geelong.
Probably a fitting weather pattern.
Thanks to Saint.Anthony for this hide.
Given the track condition was decided to walk to the next.

Headed out here with feathertop today after the events in Ballarat. Walked in as the grounds/tracks were very wet and we didn't want to be bogged.
Spotted the cache without difficulty.

6Hinemoa2 and I were back in a familiar spot and the tracks were boggy, even more so than last time. We walked about 400m to this one grabbing the Middle cache en route.
Cheers

Our main aim was the multi but why not pick up the 3 trads along this track as well. One map said it was a road, another didn’t, but we managed to make our way in and collect each cache safely with just a few additional pinstripes!
The unfit Triton was first to spot this hide so the honours of adding our team name to the logbook were hers.
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the placement.

I spotted on Project CG that there was a new cache published in this area and with a new month about to tick over I thought I would make a quick drive up the highway and try and secure my 44th month in a row with a first to find. I was also in need of finding a cache still today to keep my cache a day streak going as well. Neville_devil had been here before so he knew which tracks were easily accessible for our midnight caching run.
We arrived at GZ for this cache around 11:40 giving us plenty of time for a quick find here leaving the car her before heading of for the other two caches nearby on foot.

Find #2246 for me and my 146th Saint.Anthony find. Found at 3:05 pm while visiting the area from Bendigo. After finding the "West End" it only made sense to find its sister cache in the East. In contrast, I was able to drive up to this one in my 2WD where I made a quick find. Thanks for bringing me to this nice location today Saint.Anthony and thanks for the cache!
Had the notification for this one pop up just before dinner started so Mrs jiwilly jumped in the car to attempt to get it. Many winding tracks and my GPS wasn't overly helpful in telling me where to go so I took longer than I had hoped to get here but in the end finally found where I needed to go - arrived near GZ to find the lovely Gemma.sistema already with cache in hand! Had a quick chat and off to go get dinner ready!
Thanks for the information Saint.Anthong and for placing the cache here! TFTC TNLNSL

FTF with hubby and jiwilly. Sitting at home and this one popped up. So closets home... after the kids finished tea we made the dash here. A car pulled up just as I’d found the cache so I wandered out to see who it was so we could claim a joint FTF. Thanks for the cache. Will get the other nearby ones soon!
