Watch out for any living creatures chilling inside the cache other than that great find TFTC
We decided to have a quieter day today, so relaxed and then went out to look for some caches in and around town and also some Ad Labs. They took us to many of the local sights and features so it was a slowish journey with a few diversions as well.Mostly finds, but a few DNFs as well, maybe because the Council has done some pruning or maybe just because we were too tunnel visioned.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Whitey Wiskas.**SKI Pair****
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way to Broken Hill for Mundi Mundi Bash. Staying a few days in Tamworth to allow for some home chores. With the sun shining we bolted through our morning chores to head out for a days caching and Chinese for lunch. We found your cache today. TFTC Whitey Wiskas
Found by Mary and David at 11:55. The rain has eased. We pitied all the children out playing sport nearby. A multitude of umbrellas. Our thanks to Whitey Wiskas. May the Fourth be with you.
Reperio 14:50Day 4 of our tour of Tamworth/Armidale caching trip, and today, Master Vitruvius and I were able to focus on more of the cache closer to the Tamworth area. We had such a great time over the last few days finding plenty of caches. This one was quickly found along the way.Gratias Whitey WiskasAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Quick find whilst in Tamworth this weekend. Recognised the park from when I was last here finding a cache in 2018. Cache in good condition. Tftc!!! #2288
After a great night sleep it was back on the road again and collecting more ticks on a map. I am in Tamworth and this place needs a little more investigating. The golden guitar is fun but there is a lot more to this place. The rain was starting to come down so I thought I would try and get in some caches that where quick and easy. I had completed the adventure Lab so there was a bonus to that (which i did not find) ok a couple others and then I need to start moving further up the road.I am looking forward to a drive into Walcha and check out the town. It has been 40 years since I was last here, wonder if it has changed. I found this one and signed the log and replaced the cache as found, thanks for the hide.
Excellent cache in perfect condition, nice views on the walk from my nearby motel. On a 1 night stop in town for work, great way to stretch the legs after a day in the car.TFTC
This was a very quick and easy find with ilook4geo and both names were soon added to the log to record our visit. Thanks go to Whitey Wiskas for putting this cache into play.
Found a familiar camo in the right place, along with goingplaces2. Signing thing was done and all was replaced, TFTC.
After negotiating the field of knee high weeds in flower at 10pm, this was an easy find. Thanks
On a cache run in Tamworth picking up a few solved puzzles as well as some stray caches as we pass along the way. With the cache in hand, we signed the log then replaced everything as found. Whitey Wiskas I found your cache West Water Tower on 20/10/2023, 10:35 am. This is my find 6108 and find # 2 today. A quick and easy find with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Did a scenic tour of Tamworth tonight, after arriving from Moree, with icybeetas, via Whitey Wiskas caches, and this was the sixth of them.So unusual to see big water tanks these days without a mural painted on them,Thanks so much for placing a cache here.
Returning from QOGM in Longreach and spending the night in Tamworth I was after caches not looked for on my previous visit. This was on the list. Was a quick find. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for our challenge and enjoyment.
Easy find once I worked out which way in through the church grounds. Lights came on every bit but no one bothered me as I signed. Thanks.
Pulled up into the church car park this morning and found the area empty so quickly ducked off and made a quick find. Nice spot with great views over town, side note kind of reminds me of a Canberra style of architecture and wondered if it was designed by a notable architect of the same era. Thanks again Whitey Wiskas for the hide.
Travelled up from Newcastle yesterday to do some caching in the area before going out to Lake Keepit dam for some relaxation. Nice view from the top. Another easy find. TFTC.
Having arrived in Tamworth last night to visit with family, Blkthunder and I have a day in Tamworth and Walcha to cache and sightsee before returning to Brisbane tomorrow… there may have been more caching than sightseeing…
Really the only blanket caching we’ve done since leaving home yesterday… and only because our accomodation is around the corner…
A quick find of the familiar container… tftc,..

First cache for the new year. Here for the music, as usual but seeing how many are here and surrounding Tamworth I would have to live here to find them all.

We continue our trek, now heading back out to the track, having cleared the city centre. We got to the fence, and realised we had a bit to go, so i went left , Madrabbitoh went right. I won. SHe did make it eventually....Another one of those. Hmmm. TFTC.
I went the wrong way around through the church ground on this one, but finally made it to GZ where GeoIan was. TFTC

Rolled back into Tam and thinking I only had one cache unlogged in town. A quick look at the map and surprised to see this here. So off to GZ and scooted over for a quick find

Due to our city being in Lockdown I cannot get to the cache to maintain it for another week or two. Best to disable for the time being
Found two cache containers within a foot of each other. One with a slightly damp log, one with a new log. Signed the slightly damp one. Caching with Magpie Cottage . Lovely, sunny, autumnal day. TFTC Whitey Wiskas 29 May 2021 12:37 # 570
Hmmmm found two containers here just a foot apart! Have consolidated contents of both into one. The damp log wasn't too bad really, we dried it out a bit and stamped that one. Now we have an empty spare container...

#7118 Day 6 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are in an around Tamworth NSW. We still needed to grab a few we missed on the way in and explore Tamworth in general. The weather was warm but calm today and lots of people are on the move.
Another difficult to access cache. There was water in the cache and the log was wet.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas

A nice stop on our journey across the country from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Merriwa to Tamworth. It was a pretty bad weather day, with continuous showers of light to heavy rain, but we attempted to make the most of the day. We travelled via Denman, and then proceeded north stopping at Muswellbrook for lunch. We then drove through Aberdeen, Scone, Murrundi, Quirindi, Werris Creek, Duri, and Warral, arriving in Tamworth in the later afternoon. Several of NSW's LGAs were visited during our travels today.
Interesting water towers in the area. It was quite the effort to penetrate the bush and find this cache, as I certainly needed to push my way through! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Whitey Wiskas for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Hi there Whitey Wiskas.
We found your cache **"West Water Tower"** today.
We have journeyed over the range from Port Macquarie to escape all the school holiday/Christmas madness. Today we thought it would be a good idea to do some caches in the middle of town, while the streets are deserted.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache was soaked, we spent some time drying it out, but it's still too wet to sign the log".
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Found at 1:19 PM GAFF1.
We pulled up ad we then saw what we were in for in that monster bush, however with excellent co-ords the cache was found nearly straight away.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.
Feedback: Why are all the caches rated 1.5/15 when clearly some are more difficult to find and some more difficult in the terrain element?
