Having only recently discovered this Agatha Christie series I set to researching the books to solve the puzzles. I really enjoyed reminiscing the stories of the books, many of which I had read & some had even been released as movies. With today being forecast as a sunny day with no rain predicted I set out to see how many I could find. Only a couple eluded me & perhaps 3 did not have convenient areas to park so were bypassed. I think I got all the rest. The puzzles & the finds were all great fun. Thank you Waz & Vik for the enjoyment this series brought. TFTC

We have now set up camp at the Caboolture showgrounds. We have been joined for a couple of days by pprass.
Today we ventured out to the AC trail, a lot of research was involved to work out the puzzles.
We left the camp in overcast conditions started with a couple on the railtrail before starting AC. We found it enjoyable caching along the country roads but we were surprised by how much traffic passed.
Most were good sized containers with plenty of swaps inside.
Thankyou Waz and Vik for placing this cache.

TFTC. We had stayed in Dayboro after the Mega to do some more caching. We had solved many puzzles while in lockdown and it wa s time to reap the rewards by finding the caches. We targeted this Agatha Christie series for today’s adventure with muff1.

11-Apr-21
We made the decision to spend another week at the Dayboro showgrounds to give ourselves the opportunity to find more of the many caches that have been placed in the area. The area is still showing signs of all the rain we have had recently with the creeks flowing fast, today we did not need to negotiate roads with water over them. We found all of the caches that we attempted today. We felt we were very high with great views but the map told us that we were not that high. As we used to live in FNQ at an altitude of 880 m todays altitudes were peanuts. SL TFTC

Signed today as MINIFIGAS! as I teamed up with GLISS! Minniek, Fitzy_1965, Albida33 and Smittengranny to tackle some counties, trails, oldies and interesting caches. It was another very wet day making some of the driving a little tricky, but we still managed some awesome caching. Great to be finally in Queensland with our eyes on the Mega Prize. We had a truly awesome day!

This is the first Mega we have had in Australia in over a year. We have navigated lockdowns, mouse plagues, floods and the dreaded Covid to get here. So wonderful to be able to be out caching in Queensland. Such a privilege. Thanks for the cache.

Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.

After a slow start due to the rain, we teamed up with nibletricecakes, GLISS!, Albida33 and Smittengranny (signing logs as MiNiFiGAS!) to tackle the balance of We <3 Geo and Geosaurus, as well as Agatha Christie and part of the Coat of Arms Geo-art trails and any others in-between. Then ended the day with a great catch-up at the Tropi-Cal Party.

All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.

24,270. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip. For today we also cached with albida33, Nibletricecakes, Smittengranny and GLISS! to form and sign as MiNiFiGAS!

With the sudden COVID outbreak in Queensland putting the Mega in doubt we decided to head up to the New South Wales / Queensland border hoping that it would still go ahead, and with the announcement that things were mostly returning to normal we decided Plan A still looked good. Day 5. An early and still wet start today with an aim of caching our way through finishing some of the Geo-Art around Dayboro (all being pre solved) plus various bonus caches along the way. This was the next stop for the day. We parked nearby this one for a quick find at GZ. Signed the log as MiNiFiGAS!, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.

Thanks CacheQLD and all the other Cache owners !! Please forgive the generic logs.

Dayboro trip. Day 10. Day two of the Mega weekend. I again joined Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Nibblericecakes and Gliss for a full day of caching after a bit of time spent at mega HQ for catch up and learning. It was another wet day, but not as bad as it could have been. We mostly visited solved puzzles in the nearby Geo-art, but also did the other caches that we passed along the way. The day ended up in another remote part of the area, that meant a difficult wet drive home along narrow maintainous roads. All in all another fun day with great company.

The final set of caches for the day were the Agatha Christie caches and we could see a marked difference in the cache types, very nice.

Thanks for the cache Waz and Vik

Cheers and happy caching!

Found at 11:45 AM GAFF1.
A muggle stopped his car beside us while we were searching in the bush and warned us of snakes and then wanted to know what we were doing. I held up the container and he then just nodded and took off [?] Not sure whether he knew or not what was going on.
Thanks Waz and Vik.

A lovely quiet spot meant I could follow a geotrail that didn’t lead to the cache... once I checked the GPS I realised my mistake and soon had the cache in hand... tftc...

With the day off today I had planned to revisit the caches of the new horsehead Geoart and attack the AC art series. I mentioned it to Willis007 and she had managed to get the day off. We arranged to meet at an area that was near the start for us and visit the caches along the way, some I had already signed. On our travels in the area we bumped into Simber15 who also had a day off. After some discussions it was decided that all 3 of us would go and visit the art series together.

After the horse series and some lunch we headed up this way to grab the AC series and a couple of trad’s along the way. It was a nice drive around the streets of the area with some fantastic views and again some big laughs.

Thank you for the series, it is nice to have completed the puzzles and grab the caches. Today the log was signed as each cacher’s name and a few dnf’s rectified.

With a milestone approaching and a Mega event on the horizon it was time to get outside and find some caches! A plan was set to collect some smilies in Dayboro while the roads aren't too crowded and a day off work was requested. An early start ensured we made the most of the daylight available and we hit the tracks and trails and enjoyed a very varied day out. This cache was found with Chamad and Willis007. Thankyou for placing this here.

Making my way back down the coast with hatzofff and RoddyC & spending a few days in the local area to do some geoart puzzles and others in between.

Now that the bulk of the rain has passed I decided to venture north and grab the AC series that I've had solved for a little while. I left first thing this morning to HOPEFULLY avoid any of that wet stuff that falls from the sky, luckily I only bumped into a few passing showers and nothing too serious, pheew! However in a few parking spots the ground was a little too wet and I nearly got stuck several times, thankfully that didn't happen.

All in all it was a great morning out in a wonderful location, I thoroughly enjoyed my morning exploring the area. Thank you for the fun puzzles and for placing the caches for us to enjoy.

In the end I found 23 and DNF'd 1.

Was taken on an unexpected ride today, and since the brains of this partnership had already done her work, it was up to me to be brawn today and run the legwork parts. With the mini-OBC in the back randomly providing artistic entertainment. I mostly kept pace and we ran through this series in quick smart time.

Thanks Waz and Vik for entertaining me at this location.

Solved the majority of these puzzles last night over a glass of wine and a bowl of pasta. Good brain food! Most were relatively straightforward, with two requiring some extra thought.

Picking up my caching partner in crime, and dragging geokid #2 with me, we decided to tackle this one like a power trail. I drove and navigated, slowing down every 200m or so to kick out Mr P. Reset the GPSr to the next cache, checked the hint / size, and if he hadn't find it by then, jumped out to give him a hand. 21 times. Geokid was happily distracted drawing animals from A to Z in the backseat.

All 21 were found - 2 we skipped due to recent DNFs and 1 has been archived.

Thanks for a great series, Waz and Vik!

Really enjoyed solving this series. Murder mystery is my favourite genre and my parents had the whole series of Agatha Christie which is where my love for these books began. Ironically they used to live quite near where these caches are hidden.

The caches were all easily found and there was always somewhere safe to pull off the road.

We have given a few favourite points which are intended for the whole series.

Thanks for the puzzles and the caches.

After a fun morning, my geocaching buddies headed for home. I grabbed a bite to eat, then sat and looked at the options for the afternoon. After much procrastinating, I decided to head to these puzzles that I had solved some time ago. As I approached Wamuran, I wasn't sure how long the rain would hold off. The drizzle had stopped now. My ever reliable phone (NOT!) had me searching in the wrong spot at first. When I had no luck there, I checked a nearby spot and found the cache there. Log signed, cache returned to its spot and I was on my way again. TFTC

25-Jan-20
Roger where are you??? Oh there you are!

25-Jan-20
Solved some of the world's problems while walking between hiding spots. A random thought when using the legs for transportation was how cool you could make some of the hides based on the title.

For example, Roger could be found at GZ in various poses depending upon the murder mechanism. For a stabbing, the cache could be hidden in the handle or for a goring, you could use a bulls horn. Murder by boredom poses so many opportunities, to numerous to mention. But for today I was happy to find a bit of plastic in the bush. Thanks W&K for setting up this AC series.

Out and about today with Just a Trifle, to collect caches we both needed around Caboolture and Wamuran.

My geo work buddy and I get together most lunch breaks to try and solve a puzzle. We have been working on this series over the last month and really enjoyed them . Some we had trouble and took us a couple of lunch breaks, others we could solve a few in one lunch break. Today sharpem and I decided to turn them into smileys . We loved the drive around here. It's getting green after the rain we had and so the cows were busy munching. We saw one dead snake that I nearly stepped on and lovely country roads. Thanks for the fun puzzles and for placing these caches for us to enjoy

12-Oct-19
Due to the pouring rain we thought that we wouldn’t be getting any caching done today, so the girls set off to the shops to create some photo pages and buy some frames for the walls while the boys went out for a learner driver course in the rain.

Later on as we were putting up the frames (just us now, the kids have already aborted on us), we look out the window and what do we see…sunshine! Photos were forgotten and we were in the car quick sticks to make a few finds. With having these AC caches solved, we thought that we would go for an afternoon drive and pick some of them up. We cannot believe how much people have dumped along this road, mattresses, car and tractor tyres, we even came across a fridge…and yes we opened it thinking it just might be the cache that we DNF’d on, we tentatively opened it and then the look on our faces would have been priceless when the stench actually hit our nostrils.

We had a great few hours travelling along these back roads finding the caches.

I've taken the week off as the the geomonsters are on school holidays. Fortunately Sandra had booked them into vacation care for the day, so it was either do some work in the peace and quiet or go out caching.

I'd worked out the coordinates shortly after this series was released and decided to get them finished today. This was a nice quick find. Onwards...

Perfect day to head north and log the Agatha Christie Puzzle series. These were solved jointly with the bearded redhead a few weeks back Brought back memories of a much younger me reading the books in high school. A great idea for a geo series

No problems with most of the caches, but a few had me spinning in circles A few of the local farmers have scary signs on the fence. But I didn’t see any muggles today. Pretty much a clean run.

At every cache we visit we try and take a phlog (photo log) to remember the experience. It’s normally us being stupid but does make the cache memorable and give us something to write about. Sometimes we just journal the day and write about anything but the cache.

I hope that future finders aren’t scouring the logs looking for hints and instead find a braindump on the quality of toilet paper, how modern music isn’t an aphrodisiac or how shrinkage is an accurate indicator of how cold it is.

Some phlogs just present themselves and are too hard to ignore. Why bother putting cryptic hints in a log when you can just dribble on about how much you like beer. If you are looking for a hint then here it is. The cache is there. tftc

Thursday. Got out to a most wonderful smelling pollen. I don’t recall ever seeing this type of tree before nor its smell. Wish I could say that we found the cache right behind this one! But nooo, it was in another location – still nicely tucked away and waiting for someone to sign the log. Great day today and great series, and for once, we found all the caches we had planned on finding which was a real bonus! No DNFs for us today.

As each installment was released we solved them all … but from afar, too far to make a quick run for a find.
When the last release was published we were quick to solve them & for a brief moment we contemplated doing a night run but then remembered how many avid cache stalkers lived so much closer than we did, Orange Crew had certainly made a meal of the earlier releases! LOL ...
Waking early we checker our phones & saw that grannysmith1947 was out & about, on the prowl but we had already decided we were out of the FTF race & that, now the series were all published, we would just make a morning of trying to convert them all to smilies.
#17 of 30 caches found today.

A super quick find for Mrs VC while I almost got cleaned up by a Coles home delivery van!
But he missed. LOL ...
Made our mark & replaced as found.

With a sick child and a studying spouse, my afternoon was spent tinkering away at solving this series of Agatha Christie mysteries, but being unable to leave the house to find them. Like Poirot, I took many wrong turns and got lost down some rabbit holes but got there in the end.

Today there was a chance to duck out and try to find them, so an early start was made, arriving just before dawn. After a false start at another cache which eluded me,vthis was the first find of the day and was an easy find with good coords.
