Apologies for taking so long to sort this one out. Yep, it's definitely missing and we've decided to free the spot for someone else to use

Will check on this one asap

A DNF for me also on Monday 19 April 2021 at 13:58.

Evidence here at GZ suggests the 'Weston Park Rabbitohs' have made off with this one or it's deep inside one of their warrens serving as a table maybe Big Grin

It may still be here but an extensive search did not produce a regular sized cache.
Thanks for the challenge anyways Wink

17-Apr-21
Cache blind perhaps but I thoroughly searched and could not uncover the goods.

17-Apr-21
GZ really over grown
So this might still be there

05-Apr-21
Have a funny feeling it might be gone. Right where the hint suggests, there's a spot that looks like something might have been for a while. I hope I'm wrong!

Found it

27-Feb-21
Found rabbits. Did not find log.

The clue hasn’t help. Rock at GZ but no hidden treasure and doesn’t fit with clues. What am I missing?

06-Jan-21
It’s probably there, but I couldn’t find it after 10 minutes.

Great hide difficult area to search though

Out with the family exploring caches around Austin's Ferry and Claremont today. Again another fascinating piece of history. The hint helped and we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

Hi Hancock Clan,
TFTC,
Second time playing disc golf after my birthday recently.
Thanks again,
KingSmev

20-Sep-20
TFTC, found with KingSmev.
After a round of Disc (frisbee) Golf on the nearby Poimena Reserve, we headed down to Shoobridge Park for two caches. Half the clan stayed in the car, leaving KingSmev and Mr EeePees to enjoy two short walks.
Once at GZ, the GPSr started to go a little haywire, but it soon settled enough to guide us to the clever hide; while we were still trying to discern the hint!!
Thanks The Handcock Clan for adding to our adventures today.
Cheers, EPs.

Found with Gyrosweeper, cycling around securing caches. Took nothing but left a lady bug toy. TFTC

13-Sep-20
A well camouflaged hide that was complicated by the GPSr bouncing about all over the place. The generous hint was definitely appreciated and facilitated the find. On a road/ geo-cycle trip with Reperio and enjoying the finds as we have ventured south from our home turf. Saddle soreness and commitment to evening entertainment (already booked and paid for) mean that this will be my last for the day, but we will try one more for Reperio that is already a smiley on my map.

This afternoon found us picking up a few caches with SonOfSteel as he began a journey back to his native Launceston following a brief trip south.

Despite being somewhat familiar with much of the northern suburbs, this was a spot we were all unfamiliar with. It looks like quite the interesting spot, what with the convict wall and peaceful reserve. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do more than track down the cache, but we'll definitely be back to explore some more another time!

As to the cache, between a flaky GPSr and some somewhat devious camouflage, it ended up taking longer to track down than initially expected. Fortunately, having tracked down a similar Hancock Clan cache nearby previously, we eventually spotted something familiar and had the cache in hand soon after.

Thanks for showing us to this wonderful spot! Definitely a fun spot for a cache!

Thanks for the cache The Hancock Clan, and for historical information outlined in the description.
The GeoGSP and I had to visit Claremont again today, so decided to tick off another of the Roseneath series while we were here. This is such a lovely little park. I hadn't been here before and it's a great area, and the GeoGSP could have a run around - bonus!
We made our way to GZ and I quickly spotted the clever hide - unlike the last time I searched for one like this. Log signed and cache returned.

19-Oct-19
Accurate coords and the type of hide made this a quick find The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache The Hancock Clan

28-Sep-19
Had just arrived at GZ in the middle of the night when a police car pulls up nearby and an officer approaches us, torch in hand. Looking for a lost person, gratefully, and was patient and kind.

After the coast was cleared made a pretty quick find a little further away from the GPS's waypoint, spotting the camo with the flashlight and digging it out for a well-hidden hide. TFTC.

28-Sep-19
Accurate coordinates and a now familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache.

Last cache of the day, quick find by Wazza9, great hide. Signed log and replaced. Thanks again to The Hancock Clan.

TFTC,

After logging 79 finds for yesterday it was time to venture out again.

Come on Nana nel, just one more before we run out of time please.

And so after completing that you do tend to cache out the area and so we added this one to the list. Great to add another The Hancock Clan cache to our statistics count.

After finding the Roseneath Mystery the cheetah and I made our way to GZ to find this cache.
It was a nice, quick find of this camouflage container. We do appreciate the extra effort.
Thank you for the cache.

We were on the mainland when these group of caches appeared and probably a good thing as we are now able to find and log them for the "streak week souvenir". Our record streak number was 250 days which came to a screaming holt when we went overseas and missed that important day on our way back. Since then we have decided not to even try to continue as we have been going overseas quite a bit and the pain and stress to find a cache each day took the fun and enjoyment out of the game.

Last one for the day and of course we came from the top so some jumping down was needed. This one took longer than it should have, the gps and iPhone would not settle so we had to revert to the hint.......oh ok, expand our search and was surprised to see it where it was. Another well cammoed container.

Lovely little camooed cache here thanks The Hancock Clan for the new caches around the Austin's Ferry Area. This one should have been a quick find but decided to try and find it without a hint GPS was wandering around but eventually found it - with the hint.

I found this while out caching with gooseandegg a LONG time ago and I am just slack at logging, I had held off logging these till i got my head round the puzzle and then it was just one thing of another taking up my time.

These are some of the best caches I have found in Tassie in a long and wanted to write some ace logs to go with them but it doesnt look like thats ever going to happen now is it Sad

Cracking work from the Hancock Clan, thanks for the fun

After leaving "Austin's Inns" hungry and thirsty, this cache was next one the agenda. I have found two caches here before, both archived now of course, so the area is familiar to me. Dry-stone walls are also very familiar to me.
Where I grew up in Sandy Bay we were on the edge of the bush, Dad and I used to take the old wheel barrow into the bush to collect rock to build the walls around the property. He had a real knack for it. Later on each one was pulled down and rebuilt, cementing them in place.
Near GZ we read the hint here and then sought out possible options. The GPS was a bit jumpy so we searched a couple of spots before coming up with the goods.
Another cleverly concealed cache thanks Hancock Clan

Hi Hancock Clan
After finding three other caches it was time to give this one a try
As walked from the parking area to GZ, deja vu with memories of caches found here previously
Arrived at GZ and saw the the well cammoed immediately
The cache was Sainted at 1545 hours
After replacing the cache, I looked down and unfortunately noticed I'd been treading on a fresh lump of dog droppings - gees, I dislike flea bags immensely but dislike their owners more when they don't clean up after their pooches!!!
It had been my plan to the multi only and then visit Mum at St Johns
Didn't work out that way - was in a caching mood so found the others of your hides as well
Then it was in to Mum and spend an hour or two with her and then dinner at the Cascade Hotel - the Beef Britannia was BRILLIANT - recommend this place highly My non-FRANKS Jim Beams was good too
TFTC, the exercise and cheers

We have walked along Harbinger lane several times before and also viewed and appreciated the wall from the park. What an estate this must have been ‘in the day.’
We have thoroughly enjoyed finding five of the Roseneath caches this morning, but now home for lunch and a ‘look at’ the Mystery. Many thanks again.
