Mental note: enrol kids into Scouts soon! While the 3 minis hit the nearby playground, I quickly found this one thanks to the sound hint. Past logs correct, the log appeared to be papier mache, but took out what appeared to be a mushy top layer to reveal another underneath, intact thanks to water repellent paper. A little damp, but wiped it down and let it blow dry in the wind for 10 mins. Signed and returned in decent condition. TFTC

The log is destroyed and the fence is graffiti ed and filled with spiders, the grass has overun it and i had to untangle

Last non puzzle in cherrybrook knocked off for me. I had been here before but the dark, rain and mud had put me off. Today I had a bit of trouble, as it was a bit further off than the coords told me. There were also thorns at Gz.


Log has dried out a bit and is signable.

It was a beautiful day to go cache hunting and do a bit of bush walking with ilook4geo, with it being mostly overcast and pleasantly cool. We had a successful hunt and signed each log. Thanks go to Jesa934 for placing this cache.

Heading inland and somehow avoiding the rain, Oldmorty and I headed to Cherrybrook. The sound of kids playing in the playground, Oldmorty quickly found the cache which made this quite easy for me. TFTC!

really muddy cache. the mud didn’t stop me! the cache was wet and muddy but I cleaned it!

Had an off feeling while doing this geocache! When I got it I didn’t end up signing the log and left the area asap!

Needing to find a Cache today to earn the souvenir for 2022 and also needing to revenge a DNF on this Cache.
I just happened to be in the area.
I got to GZ and started my search again.
I soon had the cache. The cache is very water logged.
I was able to sign the log and place back as found.

This cache needs some TLC from the CO.

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

Log is saturated and is falling apart. Took photo as proof of find. Happy to provide if needed. TNLN TFTC

An after work cache for me today.
It had been raining earlier and everything was quite wet when i got there.
It only took a couple of minutes searching to locate the cache.
It took a little effort to extract the log and unfortunately it was a bit damp when i got it out.

I needed just two more finds to get me to 3999. This was the first. Next Saturday I will find my 4000th find and have earmarked a special one for that, the Botanic Garden Virtual by AussiePam.
The coordinates were excellent and the cache was soon discovered. Getting the log out took quite a bit of effort. I ended up taking the cache to the car where a TOTT was used to extract the log. With the signing done, I returned the cache to its location and headed off to get some fuel before attempting the second cache.

Going for a walk with the Geogirls. Came to find this cache while they are playing at the playground. Log too wet to retrieve from container and sign. TFTC!

Came past on the way home. Stopped and followed the phone right to GZ. Checked the hint as there is a house nearby and then spied the cache. SL and replaced. It’s a little damp, but ok. TFTC.

Decided to get out for some fresh air - and hopefully some great walks in the bush. This cache didn't disappoint us, although the walk from the geocar was short. Cache was found and replaced as found.
