I really wanted to keep this one going but when I went past yesterday the cache has gone again and the sign it was attached to has been covered in graffiti. Regretfully it's time to archive this one.
Not sure if it's just me or is it gone again (as notes sat it has happened a few times) so will check back in a few weeks
Looked for this some time ago but it was missing so when we saw it had been replaced, we went to it & made a quick find. Thanks for keeping it going
Okay, I'm going to give this one more try! I've moved it back to an earlier hiding spot. Please see updated hint.
Yep, missing again, just checked. I'll replace soon, and give it one more chance. This site seems like the Bermuda Triangle for geocaches.
Quick and easy just the way I like it when I am wandering around. TTFC. Visiting Auckland on HMCS Calgary
I remember this park, having found the original almost five years ago, but if the hiding spot is where I think it is, it's no longer there as the hint object itself is no longer attached.
Gah, just when I thought I'd found a foolproof hide that wouldn't change, they started messing with stuff again. It was hidden behind a sign, and like Bruzie said, they had removed the sign and set the sign down nearby. But, whoever removed the sign obviously found the cache. It had been disassembled, had its magnets removed, and then it had been put nearby, sticking out the top of a nearby vent. Mighty nice of them, at least they didn't get rid of it.
So I reassembled it, and moved it *AGAIN*. See updated hint.

Definitely a teeny tiny spot! Would have been pretty hard to find without the hint, soooo many places it could be in TFTC
Needed to grab a cache for my calendar day, and thanks to traffic being much better than I was expecting I ended up arriving in the area about 30 minutes early. This meant I decided to grab a cache before work, rather than after.
Upon arriving at GZ it was a very quick search before I had the cache in hand. It fits in so nicely. Cache is all in good condition too. Thanks for the cache #1227

Stopped here briefly after a nice walk up Mt Eden. A quick find with the clue. Tftc.
Staying in Auckland for the weekend visiting family. This morning woke up early for the ANZAC service at the Domain. Arrived while it was still dark hence the photo of the War Museum all lit up. After a moving service was walking back to our car past this cache. All fine here. Thanks for the smiley.
Nice and easy find here, if you don't have a pen might need to BYOP(encil sharpener) next time. TFTC!
I decided if I was really sensible I could sneak out of the house and grab a couple of caches. I've been to this park a couple of times before, I think for I dnf and one find. It was so refreshing to have an almost complete choice of carpark today and so little need to tussle with traffic. TFTC .
Hey wait...this isn’t a Munzee!!!
Just kidding, found it easily after I was on the correct side.
Thanks for the cache! All good here!

It went missing again, so I've replaced it with an Eclipse mint container in a different location. Please see updated hint.
Out ca hinge in the area today. Not to many people at les mills due to covid restrictions.
Out and about for a spot of geocaching on this overcast spring afternoon. Having DNFed this one while the cache was MIA I was keen to return. Coupled with this the cache has the last modern wonder I need to unlock the ancient wonders. Not that I particularly care about these souviner things, but it doesn't hurt, so, I figure why not? Parking was easier than on my last visit. Cache was found in the second spot I checked. Hides are easier to find when they are actually there! Thanks for the cache (re)placement!
I remember walking by this and thinking it was a great spot for a cache! Guess I was right
Spot on hints. Really appreciate the pencil in the container since I lost mine along the Coast to Coast walk. TFTC
We are planning to do the Tongario crossing early next year and needed some serious training. So with Keylev we attempted the Cast to Coast walk as a training exercise.
Started from the Onehunga side and made our way to the Viaduct. A cooler day but this made it a little easier as we didn't melt in the heat.
Getting closer to the end now and one of the first glimpses of the water on the east Coast!!
Mrs NZT made the quick find here

Attempting the Coast to Coast walk with NZ Travellers today. Spotted this one along the route that neither of us had found yet...this was soon rectified!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Cache missing, now replaced.
It's not quite as big as the last one but still big enough to hold a small trackable.
200ml Sistema.

After meeting up with a work colleague for Lunch today I decided to collect a cache before heading back home, to work from home still. I managed to find a car park not too far from GZ and made the short walk to the teeny tiny park. Unfortunately, like the previous looker I was unable to come up with the goods. I suspect this one is in need of a check by the CO.
Found it Wasn’t to hard to find. But did have a few people walk past and I probably looked dodgy haha
A day with a long caching walk through Auckland. Nice sunny weather. A city with construction works everywhere. Good to see such dynamics, less fun as a pedestrian. Several nice caches found, and nice spots visited.

Wasted heaps of time here searching for the cache exactly where I knew it would be instead of actually reading the description and checking GPS...yet another senior moment....LOL..

My first ever cache in New Zealand!
Came from the War Memorial Museum on my way to Newmarket.
Perfect location, cache is in very good shape.
Thank you very much!

Thought that was going to be hard with the road and people all around, but cleverly placed in the blind spot, although not covered properly...hope we've done a better job. Found with Dracophyllum. TFTC.
found it together with other friends. logged as rejseholdet. tftc and greeting from denmark
Today I explored Auckland on foot and covered over 20 km.
I discovered a lot of beautiful places and could find a lot of cans.
Some of them I did not find.
It was a nice, long, sunny day and I want to thank all owners for this.
It was a great pleasure for me to cache here in Auckland.
Thank you and many greetings from Germany
from Pöni.

Found almost on arrival. I was looking for a compass on my phone when I realised I really didn’t need one from the description. So a quick find. TFTC
After having one of our daughters over for Christmas dinner we still needed to go out and find a cache. We decided that this one could be a suitable candidate so headed for Khyber Pass. Arrived at GZ and checked a couple of spots before discovering the hide. Thanks.
Is all I want for Christmas this cache? Well I might be a bit greedier than that but on the other hand I did want to get at least one cache on Christmas Day and this is the closest cache to home other than unsolveable puzzles!
Here with Mrs Tuolei and geowife and we made quick work of it as it was uncovered. Signed in and dropped a travel bug we picked up yesterday in Maraetai. Happy Christmas to you nzseries1 and thanks very much for this cache - all good here. As we believed it was not the intention for the cache to be uncovered we replaced in a spot where there was a suspiciously cache shaped spot and put on plenty of natural camo of a couple of varieties.
Thanks for the cache - glad there is one here to find.

Found on our TA thru-hike, day 27- final cache of the day. Hi nzseries1! Hope you're having fun on the Wanganui River!
We had found a previous hide here, and were keen to get this one while in the area. Parking was rather tricky, but we found a spot and were soon making our way to GZ. Thanks to the hint the cache was soon located.
The hardest part of this cache was parking but I was cheeky and parked across the road in Les Mills and thankfully it didn't take Mrs Jag too long to locate the cache
Was visiting the nearby campus to view my son's Part 4 project for Mechanical engineering, so after viewing that and managing to score some free parking I walked up here and made a quick find of the cache. Thanks
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
This is most certainly a teeny tiny little park. It took me a minute to work which corner was the NW one. Once I had got my self orientated it was a nice easy find. TFTC

We were passing by doing the coast to coast walk for about the eight time think. We had got the previous here but happy to get it again. Grabbed a TB that we think will be useful
We found Supernanny's previous hide here and were keen to get this one when we saw it had been published but took a while to get around to it.
Today we were in the area and decided it was the perfect time to stop by.
We were amazed at how many muggles walk past here and had to wait for the coast to be clear before searching but we pleased we were searching in a slightly less conspicuous place than last time.
The cache was soon located and we took it over to the seat to sign before returning it to its hiding spot.
This is a great place for a cache, thanks nzseries1 for placing a new one here.

Cache maintenance - found it had moved a bit so I moved it back to its original spot. Also dropped a trackable.
It was time to take my niece and nephew out on another geocaching adventure. I decided to target around Milford. We were lucky the rain held out and it turned out to be quite a nice day given the torrential rain during the night.
We headed back over the bridge making our way to Greenlane for an event in the afternoon. I had previously located the cache hide in this teeny tiny park, but thought today would be a good time to return, hoping that it wouldn't be too busy. Managed to find a park closeby and we made the short walk to GZ. Thankfully we were hidden from the muggles working on their cardio as we quickly found the cache.

I went for a walk to this cache from my hotel this morning. A slight detour on my way to work. Took me longer to find than it should have done, but I did have to be stealthy and patient with all the muggles passing by. Finally spotted what I needed to see and timed my retrieval and replacement to avoid the crowds. TFTC, Biggles.
After realising how close to my work this is I suggested to my work mate that we go and grab a geocache. He had no idea what a geocache was but enjoyed the walk and find. Luckily a nice quick find given the changeable weather.
After finishing work there was time to grab one or two caches before it got dark so as this was very nearby we stopped off here to take a look.Had found the old one when we first arrived in New Zealand so it felt good to be back here.Made a quick find of this suitable sized cache. Was glad the humming thing was there to shield us.Hope this doesn’t go missing like the old one used too.Fingers crossed.
I work just around the corner but had clients the day this was posted and couldn't get out, it was beyond frustrating how long it sat unfound that morning and I couldn't get out to get it! LOL. So decided to save it for a dot day and nabbed it this evening after finishing work in-between torrential downpours. Cache still nicely hidden and dry. TFTC!
