Unfortunately there was no response (or regular update) from the owner within the time requested and as per the original note this cache has been archived. If you wish to replace it please submit a new cache via [this link](https://www.geocaching.com/play/hide).Ngaambul - Matt
This cache really required Replacing. GreenGecko1 & I have planned to find this a while back & finally we arrived and its under threat from a reviewer. If hes like the one at home, we really needed to love this one before it was just written off. It seems the POWER has gone to his archival head!!!NOTE: has been maintenanced and coords are good. It is in a transient & exposed position so stay tuned.
We had done the work for this one over 2 years ago but ran out of daylight. We intended to do it on our way back from Victoria but forgot all about it. Today we found a rather rusted mint tin so replaced it with a bison as it was all we had left.
Hi Grimm Reaper 1,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
It's been a long time since I've had to do this... and in that time, the options have changed. A needs maintenance is now a owner attention requested. Nice.A needs archiving is now a reviewer attention requested. Ok.I guess this needs both, but we'll start slow.. Grimm reaper 1, please check in on this one for us all....
There were three caches that jumped out at me when I checked my map of what's what in Nambucca, one was an ausgeoroyalty's oldie another on an island and then this one.The other two I managed and with the help of bobbiesgirl (thankyou!) I was able to work out the few remaining ones that the internet trawl didn't discover regarding the shipwrecks information. Then everything fell apart again.I went back to our projected gz a good few times, seeing as I was staying right next door.I have no idea where it could be.Perhaps it has washed away, I see a past finder placed a container already. Yeah nah. This cache needs some attention. It felt wrong to just replace a cache where I wanted to at gz.The signs are missing so the multi cannot be solved and it appears the cache is missing. Thanks anyway.
I'd like to solve and find this, if any watchers or readers see this and can help me.The signs are gone. Except one. With internet research, I'm possibly closer, but still fall short. Please help?
It was a wet and drizzly day so not sure why I felt like caching but sometimes it takes you like that. It wasn't the most successful day however that happens too. This cache was made difficult by a few factors today, the weather, the lack of a relevant sign and ultimately because I broke my phone in the process.
Armed with confirmation I had good co-ordinates from a couple of sources and some extra hints from previous finders I will still need to come back another day for the smiley. I'll pick a sunny one I think and better shoes, let alone protection for my phone.

This is our third visit.. We decided to check the signs again to make sure our coords were correct but we didn't find them. Is it even possible to miss something that big or are they really gone? Nothing for it but presume our coords are right and as the checksum was in agreement anyway we continued to GZ.
It took a long search before we found something that could have been the cache. It was living dangerous where it was and had no log. That at least tied in with what previous finders had said. We added a new container and log and replaced it in a safer place but as we don't know where it actually came from this may not be the correct hide. An excellent multi and a fantastic GZ. Found it after a good walk around. I had such a great afternoon here.

A great final area. Had great fun exploring. Found what was clearly the cache, but no log (as noted by previous finders). TFTC!
I have loved exploring Nambucca with Grimm Reaper 1 as my virtual guide. Absolutely gorgeous area and I love the gallery on the way. Also the interesting history to collect all the answers. I did take quite a while chambering all over the rock
to find this very clever cache, no log though.

Brad&Janet are on a journey from Brisbane back to Adelaide in the new geomobile. The first time doing this trip in a few years. Trying to find a few new placed to visit. for This time was are not dragging a house on two wheels. We having been looking forward to this trip for some time. And of course along the way we should be able to find a few caches too.
We stopped overnight in Nambucca Heads and of course explored the V Wall. We collected the info and made a brief attempt yesterday with no luck. Returned to GZ this morning armed with detailed instructions from a previous finder. We did manage to find the camo / container and it was clear where the log had been but it is no longer there. We signed anyway. Sadly this does need serious work. Happy to chat with CO in more detail.

Enjoyed doing the puzzle but had to record a DNF after a 30 min search and we were running out of time on our journey. Nice spot though and hadn’t been here before so thanks for bringing us along here.
I will be in town 5his weekend over looking a few caches ready for the onslaughtof the school holidays and long weekend so i will check on this one while in there to make sure its not gone walkies
We visited this lovely location on three days. On Friday we walked to the info boards and it started raining. We grabbed the answers needed (though one board is missing) but the rain just got heavier so we hightailed it back to the car.
Saturday we came back to look for the cache... spent a long time searching but didn't find it.
As often happens with a DNF, we wondered if maybe it was sneakier than we thought and did we really check well enough... [?] and decided to return for one last search on Sunday. Same result, still a DNF.

No luck with this one today, had the right coords and scoured that mountain to no avail, but thanks for the adventure Grimm Reaper 1
Well bugger me what an epic adventure this was. We had seen this one many times and followed it's history from time to time, but after finding a few more caches along the wall we decided that it was worth a try.
All of the answers were found pretty easily but our total was 38 and the checker said 37, but we realised that was just a red herring kind of thing to make me scratch my head a bit more. Anyway we worked the numbers out in the end. Over to GZ...
Not many muggles here which is great, I even entered the coords into my garmin just to be sure. Didn't do me much good with those pokey tiny holes everywhere, there must be 1000's of them.
Spent 30 minutes going round and round and up and down. Take a break over in the shade and play with Geo dog for a while and gather my thoughts, and read the hint, shoulda done that already. Coongoola Cheryl is sitting in the shade reading old logs while I wander back over for a last effort. It's always the last effort that pays off isn't it ?
Going over previous parts of the mini mountain I grabbed something that was loose and presto, easy as that. Why did this take just on 50 minutes. The coords were spot on too, but I guess I had pre conceived ideas and those ideas weren't working.
We'll award a favourite point for your effort Mr Reaper, this is one of your better caches.

Well this was an amazing adventure... A really well put together multi. Really enjoyed the information waypoints, and the final was just an awesome spot, thanks for creating and sharing. TFTC...deserves a fav point.
First the journey
Lots of interesting history here and it was real fun to work out the missing coordinates a quick stroll off to GZ and wow! What a spectacular place! We probably wouldn’t have ventured out here if it wasn’t for this cache so thanks for that!
I could spend hours here just watching the ocean

Thought I had the right coords despite initially looking like I was 90 km away because I mistook I, rounding up.
Could not find any craftily camoed cache - at least as yet - so might seek clarification. Here one more day so might get it yet.

After four dnf i think ill put this on the list for a maintenance check i have a spare one of these type of caches so if its been mugged ill replace it with a similar one in the next maintenance run i apologies for those who made the effort to read the info answer the questions to find the codes and look for the cache which seems after 4 dnf it s been mugged
We had a good long search around but no luck at all here.
Returned the 2nd day for another look after PAF but still no luck here.
We enjoyed collecting the information & a FP would have been given if we had found it.
Thanks

Girls solved this one yesterday and went to find, but came up empty handed, boys today went to show them how it was done, even with a PAF came back with our tails between our legs. Very exposed and possibly with the strong winds and heavy seas may have been dislodged.
In Nambucca picking up a few caches for Palindrome Day. After a nice lunch at the nearby establishment we strolled up to the info boards and admired the artwork along the way. We gathered the information needed, worked the numbers, got a green light from the checksum and wandered off to GZ. That is where it all went pearshaped . So many places to hide a micro, we searched high and low, left and right in every available nook and cranny, widened the search area and even after resorting to PAF we were unable to locate the goods. We'll be back.
Shall return!! Had a good go at it !! No luck at all ... Thanks GrimmReaper 1 (maybe just cache blindness!)
A nice cache! After solving the questions a nice stroll along the beach had the cache in hand in no time! FP for the container and placement
Only had time to do one of the two multis today and this was the chosen one. Mr Beetle waited at the van while I walked out to the information boards. Didn't take too long to get the information needed and then I sat on the conveniently placed seat to work out where I had to go next.
At GZ a lengthy search was getting me nowhere but I had done the hard yards on this one and wasn't going to give up easily.
What a relief it was to finally find it, a little distance from my calculated GZ but that could have been my error not the CO's.
A very nicely constructed hide and much better than the bought version of this hide.
Thanks and a favourite point from us.

Found at 1:23 PM GAFF4.
Gosh - p-pprass had it in his hand within seconds of arriving and didn't know it! Nice work with the camo and also it is surprising that the cache has remained in-situ in such an exposed location.
Thanks Grimm Reaper 1.

while I was walking back to my car I got a message from the co with a hint of where to look, so went back and after another 15 minutes of searching I found the cache somewhere I had already looked. A well crafted hide here, and great location to boot. Thanks
Checked on the cache this morning still there tucked away in broad daylight. so i raised the difficulty level the cache itself might be a little harder than first thought
Congrats to the FTF it was my first multi and after a few teething issues sorted out with the help of Cacher PPRASS the cache has been located i hope everyone enjoys this cache as u could emagine the Reaper is happy today

What a glorious sunny day to do some Caching. We thought we would travel down to this beautiful spot and try and claim the FTF.
We have attached a photo of one of the many painted rocks we saw whilst walking along the footpath to the information signs.
Upon arrival at these signs some great history was learnt about this location. After reading all the signs and obtaining the answers, we soon put in our waypoint for GZ.
After a short search, this sneaky cache soon revealed itself. A great camouflaged and multi-cache to do, so Favourite Point given.
Many thanks for bringing us here. TNLNSL TFTC
