In the area so headed for a few select caches. A nice walk in and no muggle about. A bit of looking to find the nice hiding spot. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Here on and off for a few weeks for work and having a look around with friends. TFTC
__Cat__ and I continued our stroll down to the bottom of the park and this cache was a quick find. TFTC!
#97 25/04/2024 @3:09pmGPS was a bit off and added an extra challenge, but expanded the search area and soon got this one at the second time of askingTFTC
Nice quick find here. Didnt find any golf balls to add to the cache unfortunately. Great place here at Bundoora park TFTC
Found with icw on a weekday when all was quiet. I see what you mean about beware of snakes, as the buffalo grass was rampant around GZ making excellent cover for reptiles. Tftc.
Kept circling it and then I saw couple of things that were just placed there and knew it was it great hide !! Now for the walk back up hill in the dark. Might even have a hit of golf here now I know this place exists
It’s cachemas time! Twelve days full of events, citos, catching up with friends and turning caches into smileys.
This was the only cache in this park I’d not yet turned into a smiley, so a must for today.
Thanks for bringing me here by placing this cache, Jaspera

Heading north to Beechworth after a busy weekend of TDOC23 events.
I was traveling by the ring road so I thought I might drop in to today's TDOC23 event.
Collected a few other caches around the area while I was there.
Met up with Suscoe again for this short walk.
A very nice view from the car park. It didn't seem we came up enough hill for this view.
Down the hill we walked for the cache. A lot of new apartments going up across the creek.
Thanks, Robmc.

Another joint find with Robmc as we headded closer to the event down the way.
It was great to walk and chat on the way to find this cache.
Thanks to Jaspera for this hide.
Plenty of building going on across the creek.

Cachemas in July is in full swing and I joined the festivities today to catch up with like-minded
elves at a Twelve-Days-of-Cachemas event here at Bundoora Park. It's a location I have never been to, so after the event I set off with nirgalagrin for a loop of about 4km around the park.
The park was rather busy with some school cross-country event taking place across the grounds.
Continuing our walk we stopped at this GZ which nirgalagrin had already visited. It made for a very quick find .
Thanks, Jaspera.
Now for a walk back up the hill!

Found it after a good look. I’d agree it is about 6 mtrs south of the GPS spot. Useful hint. At least half of it. Avoid the dumped absestos like sheeting behind the rocks toward the creek. Not healthy: David
Our GPS had us quite a bit away from the cache but after using geo-senses we very quickly had the cache in hand! What a beautiful park to walk around
It was a nice night so headed out after work to fill a calendar day today with a multi for one of the Whittlesea challenges I am working on.
After finding what I needed I was as close to this one as I will ever be and after waiting for a surprising amount of cycling muggles I soon had the log signed.
Thanks Jaspera for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

This took quite a search and a circular dance before I used geo-sense to locate the well hidden cache.
Thanks for the fun and congrats on your first cache hide jasperas1st

I was in Bundoora with my son and while he was donating plasma at the Red Cross Blood Donation Centre I decided to go for a shortish walk to find this cache.
There were lots of people enjoying the park and setting up for parties in the shelters but I just walked past them and eventually got to GZ, where I found this cache, while watching out for golf-enjoying muggles.
Thank you Jaspera for this cache, in a lovely park.

tried looking around the compass point and then after reading comments saying the compass is off, i branched out my search. still no luck. got hungry and left
The hint actually confused me more than it helped! Got there eventually. Took the TB, TFTC
A good stroll to find this one. Dropping TBGary off. Maybe he’d like a round of golf. TFTC

Out for walk on a Sunday afternoon just finding geocaches and enjoying the waning weather. An easy find at the appropriate GZ.
Took nothing, left nothing.

Quick and easy find.
No grass problems getting to GZ today. GPSr was 7 m out… but easy find anyway.

I'm not sure if this one was there or not. There was an empty blue container, not sure if that is meant to be it as there was a fair bit of rubbish around. Got a lot of grass rash for nothing...
Too hot a day to get out and about chasing little boxes, however, few opportunities to get into the area so off I went. Spotted something just a little off, there it be.. thanks..!!
I found this cache today on my Seven Labs Preston to Watsonia Run. A lab cache and the only nearby parking at the top of Mount Cooper meant some downhill walking through some long seedy grass to this one, then back up again. Thanks from D B-A
After the boys the said they had some trouble finding it, i was on my way determined, found within a couple minutes and realised they were struggling cause the compass was throwing them a few meters off, TFTC
Part of an enjoyable walk in the park for me this evening, a nice quick find, thank you
Grass was very long and didn't feel safe looking for too long in fear of snakes
Nice little find on an otherwise underwhelming 2hr exercise trip to bundoora park. Thanks for placing!
Got it! Great spot for a cache.
Watched a couple of golfers putt-out while I waited to return the cache to its hides-hole.
Grabbed bug too! Thanks for the cache.

This was a great find during the lockdown. A nice local cache and the first Geocache for the kids.
Thank you
Thank you
Out and about with echidna4 clearing out some Adventure caches in the area. What a wonderful green space this is. Whilst going up to the highest point of Melbourne we pulled up and made the short walk to GZ. No problem at all for us today. Nice easy find. Congratulations on your 1st hide. Left TB. Thanks for the cache jaspera
Out with xambo4u, we decided we would do Adventure Lab Caches today. This was one single cache we collected while in the area. Easy find after a short walk. Thanks Jaspera.
That took some searching as the grass was really long. Once we had the container w found a red back spider protecting it! Beware!
Long grass and hidden rocks, nearly twisted ankle. Unpleasant terrain when there are so many better options for a hide nearby
The three of us rode down the hill on our bikes but a lot of searching in overgrown spots (being wary of snakes) led to nothing, although there were some obvious locations. Aito is keen to try again soon... Thanks, Jaspera
A nice park to walk through and a quick find at GZ
Thanks Jaspera for the cache.
Thanks Jaspera for the cache.
Found by Mary and David at 16:07. At the lookout to finish of the Labs. Didn't realise the significance of Mt Cooper. Always good to try to clean out an area, even a small one like this park. A good walk down to the cache, but not quite so good climbing back up to the car park. Spotted the hide fairly quickly. Dropped off "Signal FTF Micro Geocoin", and retrieved "Aussie Travel Tag". Our thanks to Jaspera.
I had donated at the bloodbank at the Polaris Centre across the road and then met up with a friend, who lives nearby, for lunch. A while ago I had offered to show her what geocaching was all about. Being a glorious sunny day we decided after lunch to go for a walk in Bundoora Park and also look for this cache.
We drove across the road and parked in the suggested carpark at the lookout. We then headed down the hill to GZ. Thanks to the spot-on co-ords I spotted the hide fairly quickly. I retrieved the cache and signed the log at 3:55 pm. TN but I left an Aussie TB that I have had for way too long. I then returned the cache to its hiding spot. We used hand sanitiser after finding the cache to stay safe. We got a bit of a fright when a roo jumped past us as we wandered up the hill back to the car.
Thanks Jaspera for the well-hidden cache in such a beautiful location. Even though I have been to this park several times and found other caches here I had never been to the Mt Cooper Lookout. We took several photos at GZ as well as from the lookout. On our drive around the park we were surprised to see a few emus in the protected environmental area near the golf course (see accompanying photo). I am not sure whether I have recruited my friend to geocaching but I know she enjoyed it and will come with me again.

Such a big park in the middle of suburbia. We are blessed with so much space in this country. The cache was waiting for me to sign it. Great hide. Beware of snakes in summer though.
We got to turn that frown upside down today. After a previous DNF it was wondrous to make the find.

Great location. I can imagine in summer it would be pretty snaky here. Nice easy hike through Bandoora Park as well. Thanks
The cache is still in place and still good to go. Possibly a little more difficult to find this time of year
The clue was so specific and although there were plenty of possibilities thought this should be straightforward but no success

Walking off the aches and pains from helping a friend move meant I enjoyed the walk down from the parking area stop Mt. Cooper. There were so many places a cache could be, but I stood back at the coordinates and thought for a second or several, and something caught my eye.
Thanks, Jaspera... A nicely placed hide.

We enjoyed the drive through the park to get to this area. A quick find after a short stroll. Left a personal token. #3 of 5 for the evening. TFTC.
Found this one at 09:40 while on this morning's bike ride . A nice, quick find courtesy of spot-on coordinates to close out not only 2019, but the 20-teens.
This capped off fine geocaching year for us that resulted in:
* 416 GC finds, our 8th best year
* 148 GCA finds
* Finds in 6 different countries (including Australia), which included 4 new countries for us
* Finds in 2 different countries in the one day immediately followed the very next day by finds in 3 different countries in the one day!, and
* Finally completing the set of Australian States and Territories with our first ever NT find in October
Gosh.
TNLNSL. Many thanks and Happy New Year Jaspera.

Just dropped off trackable geocoin FOTOTERMIN so Jack and Jill can meet their next furry friends all is well
Thank you Jaspera for your great hide and container, I remember placing my first hide the wait for the reviewer to pass it and for fellow cachers to find it. Well done for your first hide and we all can look forward to many more from you. a fantastic park.

Thank you for this your first hide. It ticks all the boxes. Great location, accurate coordinates and nice sized container. Cheers
All eager for a smilie today, to no avail. GeoSon and I headed over after Basketball
A lovely spot for a wonder and a hunt. We made our way as close to GZ as we could. Apparently my GPS is going to be temperamental and peg me about 150m where I’m actually standing.
I switched to satellite but this still didn’t help us make the final find.
We searched for a good 20min but came up short. Hopefully next time will be more successful. And there will be a next time

5TF! I wandered down from Mt Cooper, disturbing two foxes who might have wondered if my short cut was really worth it, and quickly found the neat hide. I look forward to jasperas2nd.
Equal {FTF} Grub62 and I. A nice hide especially in the dark when we arrived at GZ. We found it was an easy walk from Arthur street. Well done for your 1st hide Jaspera. TFTC.
In between golfers on the tee and cross country happening today I had to wait for the all clear knew where it was but had to pretend I was enjoying the creek view until I had a moment to grab sign and put back thanks
Equal FTF with Bunadoorian. Out early this morning as this one hadn't been found overnight. Clever hide. Congratulations on your first hide Jaspera. This keeps my daily streak going. Loved the bug in the cache. TNLN. TFTC Jaspera.
