TFTC! Found it after coming from the wrong direction, crawling through bushes and meeting Skippy, the cache guardian
Spending a long weekend in the Southern suburbs which I havent visited very much since I started geocaching. So lots of unfound caches to keep me busy. The main theme was to target solved mysteries, highly favourited caches, caches requiring a TOTT, adventure labs and any other caches that I passed by.I stopped at this little pocket of 5 caches. This is my preferred way to geocache - park the car and get out on foot. Thanks for the cache Pikapene.# # #14074 # #
Found it ... now to find our way out. And should've worn long pants - a bit scratchy and snakes in here today. TFTC
Went on an adventure with TheWanderingGrippers this afternoon making the most of a lovely day. We saw many kangaroos today but their trails didn't always lead us in the right direction.Found after a short search.Unfortunately the log book is wet.TFTC
A free Sunday means we have time to go for a walk to find some Tupperware in the wild.Found with sir_spectre.Thanks
Now we have left the track and just following game trails from cache to cache. Quick find. No snakes sighted today and walked over 6.5 km's in the gorge. I did see a lot of kangaroo's.
Quick find here.

Naughtybunny and I weren't going to these three out here off the track as we were a bit sore from grabbing the three which were way down at the bottom of the gorge. This was the second of the three along this contour. The lookout nearby was amazing and on the way back we though - why not? Off we went. It was quite a zig zag to get through the bushes around here but we finally made it to GZ and had the cache in our hand. TNLN. Cheers.
After trekking to the bottom for the high terrain caches, Chookster and I decided to tackle these ones as well.Quick find here, with my legs protesting a little at me forcing them to walk up another slope!

Found after attending the 'Coffee... need I say more?' event at Port Adelaide and a caching foray through the western suburbs, spending the afternoon hiking around Onkaparinga Gorge National Park, and ending the day with the CITO at Hackam. Thanks for the cache Pikapene!
Quite a climb up to this one indeed. Sent some kangaroos racing off into the distance. Was a nice quick find, logbook was damp though
Thanks for the hide
Thanks for the hide
seems there is more than 1 way to get to this... I, of course made hard work of this one.... hands and knees under bastard bushes for 30 metres, following tracks.... nope not happening... worked way out and found an opening clear of all bushes and yep, that's where the cache was... thanks, I think!
I decided to head to Onkaparinga River National Park and after a rather tiring walk into the Gorge (and then back out to go back down a slightly different back) it was time to head back to the car. Having said that, I couldn't walk past caches I knew that were close by. I made the detour and made the find here. TFTC Pikapene
Sorry for the late log.
Sorry for the late log.
So many prickles to avoid to get to this. Disposed of ridiculous religious propaganda
Sunny Saturday drive and walk with Pony1966. Nice cross country walk from the path, lovely to see families of kangaroos in the area.

Out for a morning around Onkaparinga Gorge to try and reduce the numbers.
About 3 hours later I had made a small dent. Will be back for more.
Came from the gully so it was straight up hill for me.

My friend and I picked here to have lunch and awalk... I thought, best see if any geocaches are here, happy to say yes there is! A reasonably easy find thanks to the hint! TFTC left a Twinkle Star
A nice sized cache upon discovery here today, Tue 28 July 2020.
SL at 12:28. The cache and contents are all good and dry.
I was glad to be "Top o' the Hill" after dealing with steep slopes and plenty of bastard bush in such a lovely park [B)]

Tackled this one from the opposite hill and got the heart working. Nice and peaceful over here. TFTC.
Got caught in several thorny bushes for no good reason on the way to this but thankfully an easy find once we got there. TFTC
Out for a hike and pick up a cache or two. Many many people out walking the trails today trying to beat the Virus isalation blues.
Thanks for the cache Pikapene.

Today with COVID-19 social isolation requirements in effect, I headed out by myself to do some more jogging and hiking in Onkaparinga River National Park, after working at home today. Evenings were getting shorter with daylight, since daylight savings ended on the previous weekend, so I took off a little earlier to allow a few hours to visit a couple of areas that I had visited with jesswrigley early last year. I initially took the Knoll Track to check out the great views, and then retreated back to the car to drive to nearby to walk the Punchbowl Lookout Walk. I never get tired of the views into the gorge from here. A nice evening out with plenty of muggles either jogging also, or having family outings.
I decided to continue my walk to these few caches in this area, even though the sun was starting to get low. I followed a kangaroo track to arrive at this location, where the cache was reasonably quickly found. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I picked up the TB for onwards travels. Thanks Pikapene for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A nice easy walk and find. I had a big sense of Déjà Vu coming to this one. I knew where the cache was going to be before I got to it and it was. I even knew the best path to get to it and avoid all the bastard bushes. It was like I’d been here before. The log book didn’t agree though, so I added my name and went back to the geomobile.
Thanks for the cache Pikapene.

Found this on the return trip with Gridge98. This was showing up as I hadn't found it but looking at the logbook my name was already in there and that was until I read the log description.
Thanks Pikapene

After chasing an FTF near by, Rod81w and I stopped by a few caches on the way home, If only it wasn't so prickly. TFTC
Out & about with CPwanderer today after the breakfast event and a few group assaults.
I grab the nearest cache by the car park & continued the walk to this one.
We were blocked by a line a trees, but our compass guided us to the roo track & found the correct gz, (if I had to go around a bit to get it)
Decent sized cache, grabbed some TB from here too.
A nice walk in the Onkaparinga Reserve, thanks for the cache a favourite

Found with clare007 after this mornings event!! An easy stroll to this one!! Thanks Pikapene for the hide!!
I had been out finding a few of the newer caches this afternoon and of course I had to come up here to find this one. [^]
When I pulled into the carpark there were lots of roos right next to the path and they weren't all that bothered by me, they just watched for a while then continued eating.
The misty rain that I encountered at the last cache had turned into quite a heavy drizzle, of course that didn't stop me...but I did use the umbrella I had in the car.
I knew exactly where to go as I had been here for the previous cache when I got FTF...my name is in the log book as I noticed when I got to GZ to sign it...gee I needn't have come out again lol.
So now my stamp is in there for this new cache and I had another wet walk back to the car.
Thanks for the cache Pikapene.

I came for a walk after work. Same spot and even the same logbook. Dropped some TBs that I had. TFTC Pikapene
After an earlier DNF on way home, ventured a lil further south, to a familiar and favourite park... and a familiar spot...
Should get more finds now.
A great spot to walk amongst roos and nature in general.
A quick find in a familiar spot.
Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through too at 1830.
