Heading back up to Gisborne for another week of caching-I-mean-teaching. Trying to add a few more quick caches to ensure my planned Mangaone Cave System (GC3691Q, Nhaka) is reached with enough daylight to claim my 400th up there and fulfil my side quest of finding lonely caches (1268days)Enticed back to claim this by daylight, much easier find (especially realising it had a hint with it lol) and the cache is in good nick. Beautiful orange Californian Poppies are out in force too Mihi ki a koe, mo te keteroki #395
Not this time. Found bailing twine and wire reminisce of a cache anchor but seeing this was only found recently Id say its more me searching in the dark rather than a lost cache. Will try again sometime in daylight
Thank you for posting this along the cycle trail. Its got the whole back of the log to go. You rock!!!
I found it! Knew I would if I bought right eyes with me. Signed log, put small tradable in and replaced where found. Thanks for another find
Thanks Libranj for this cache and chance for some fresh air enroute to Palmy TNLNSL TFTC
Today we drove from Hastings to Gisborne where we are staying for a couple of days. We grabbed some caches on the way. Here we parked nearby and a quick find at GZTFTCTim and Viv - ddm
Yellow and orange flowers blooming nearby. The cache and log are good. TFTC Libranj.

Actually found this once before long time ago but it was still green on my map so now I turn it into a smiley face. TFTC
Stood here studying the map & we were about to head off when I thought I better check if there was a cache. Quickly located & then off to Oak Estate for a wine before completing the loop. Fav point for a fun bike ride. Witnessed some flood damage. Tftc
Visiting from Tauranga to bike some of the wonderful trails - and find some of the wonderful caches! Read previous logs and found the broken shell with a magnifier toy in it. No way to make that waterproof so we replaced it with a camouflaged pill bottle and a new log. Hope that will tide it over meanwhile. Note sent to cache owner. Cache is all good to go. TFTC
Read previous logs, and found container with mag.glass. no log to sign... took photo.
On my way to Tongariro in the rain, the whole day, I found some caches.
Thanks.
No logbok.

#11,926. After driving up from Wellington and being distracted by quite a few cache finds on the way north, the day was now running out and I needed some dinner and to pick up some groceries. But there is always time (especially in summer) to round out the day with one or two last finds, This was one of them and it was lucky last. Parked nearby and searched around the wall. The hint helped and soon I spied something promising. But inside was a tiny magnifying glass and no container or paper. Paper does beat it as its needed to sign off a find. Luckily I had some spare waterproof paper in my pocket. Signed the new logsheet and left the cache as found. Thanks Libranj for hiding it here. I did search in the long grass in case someone previously had stopped and dropped the inner contents. But whatever it was that held the log it eluded me today.
From Auckland.
Dankie/TFTC.
Found with VinnigeVoete.
Logbook full. Taken photo.

A nice quick find here although we had to sit in the car for a couple of mins as a couple of cyclists were studying the nearby sign.

Nice cache, we were lucky enough to see a nest full of baby birds waiting for their mum
We had been up in Hawkes Bay for the weekend to celebrate some family birthdays and were now on our way home.
There was time to stop here and check this cache out.
Two cyclists were reading the info board as we pulled up but fortunately they headed off and we had the place to ourselves to find the cache - which was quick and straightforward with good coordinates and hints. We wondered if the outer container was supposed to have some sort of stopper. It doesn't now and does leave the contents a bit exposed.

On a road trip to who knows where today. Nice hide. Love the container. Gimblett is a famous name around these parts. TFTC
Amazing find, very clever. Hard to find at first but in the end it was a job well done. Added a swap.

I had parked my snail shell up in Napier and today decided to go a-huting for some caches.

Cheers for the cache.

As a kiwi petrol head I still find it disappointing that the Thunderpark drag strip had to go to make way for all these grapes here. I spent many years making the three hour drive up here for race meetings in my younger years. A quick P&G here which was nice with all the bird scarers going off every couple of seconds! TFTC
Stayed an a night in Hasting, an early morning start out this way. Quick find. Thanks Libranj for the cache.
Checked in on the cache today as I pass this structure daily.. Cache is still in place.
Looked everywhere. Not our day as this is the thrust cache we couldn't find...aghhh
O have gone past this cache several times and never managed to actually stop and check it out
but finally i have! There was a hen at GZ watching me very intently as i searched and then i realised why she was observing me There i found a nest with her three eggs in ti so i carefully did not disturb the nest- or her - and soon had the cache in hand . signed and returned and i said farewell to the hen and left her in peace.
thank you for this cache. i took nothing- certainly not the eggs - and left nothing .

Nice easy find. Well camoe'd outer container. Pleased to have had gloves on as outer container was home to several small species of insects making it their home. Internal container and log all good. Found while on a trip to Wellington to visit the in-laws. Thanks for making the cache available.
Heading through for a few days in Napier after visiting family in the Manawatu. Time for a break in the driving to stretch our legs. Happy to make a quick find here and get back on the road. Love the title of this cache!!!
Missed this one also as on the map it was covered with the Mystery cache Bother!
this was spotted almost straight away, thanks for the placement and the only cache I had left on 50
We drove past here yesterday while on a wine tour. We visited the Ashridge winery amongst others. Today we left Napier and headed for the Kapiti Coast – the next stop on our New Zealand Odyssey. It was good to read the nearby interesting information. Signed log TFTC
On a weekend road trip to Napier to see sir Elton, and finding a few caches on the way. This was one of them. Cute hide, log paper a bit damp, TFTC
Off to a wine tasting at Ash Ridge (very good). We were glad this is not as hard as a similar cache two days ago.
Very quick find here thank you lig wet but xache all good tftc out cachingc with xsaveya today. Raining off and on but that not stopping us today.
Just finished a week of work in Whanganui and heading home to the East coast. Long drive so stopping occasionally for a smiley. Nice container. Thanks
Awesome find!! 1 thing is not like the other ones thanks! Log is a bit wet, but good fun! Thanks
Haha a cool cache name that fits perfectly into the theme of this cache. A neat container that I haven't seen before and a nice change from the standard containers of this type I have found in the past - well done!
