TFTC, beautiful day out here for a walk. Container was a little stuck but got it free with my pen!
We spend a few days with Team Pitsch Patsch in Hunter Valley. Today we are focusing on the area around Walka Lagoon. A beautiful area with lots of birds accompanies us on the way. So we go from one cache to the next. We didn't find some of them, but most were easy to find and so we were able to register. The smileys are now beaming at us all around the lake. Many thanks and greetings from the Moorhelmi
Today we're exploring the area and finding some caches on the way. Thank you for laying this nice round.
After a late start e set off to complete the lower section of the Dog's Head Trail. On the way we finished of a Lab and picked up a puzzle but had to pass on some tree-fishing caches as there were too many muggles about. With that part of the trail complete and the rest left for another day we headed out to the Walka Water Works. Time to do some walking, rather than in and out of the car. The area was a surprise with lots of interesting features, particularly the building. The current works detracted somewhat, but we guess the work must be done.Another great day!Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache kingfisher_au.**SKI Pair****
Woohoo we found our first ever one definitely not on the east side but great fun to find
The boys (the male Triton and Tack123) headed over to Walka Water Works to bike ride around the tracks seeking out all the caches as well as labs that have been added to the map since our last trip to Maitland. It was sad to see the beautiful building fenced off and to learn the reason why but it is still a lovely area to visit and exercise in. The unfit Triton remembers bringing her kids here for picnics when they were younger. We had 3 DNFs here but on the whole we had a successful trip, zig zagging in and out to each cache enjoying the various hides especially the 3D printed ones. Thanks kingfisher_au for the series placement.
Found, hanging upside down couldn't reach it. Fun jumping over the wall good the water was low. Thanks for this. I'm holidaying from UK.
Found with Portstevo on our long weekend adventure! perfect day for caching around a heart shaped lake, thankfully not as hot as yesterday. TftcTook a bit of time with some muggle kids around and in a spot that seemed very unlikely
Tftc took ages to find this one, seemed to have fallen from where it was meant to be based on other logs. Found with red_ear_slider
After recently seeing the latest Wonka movie, though I know not related, this series sparked my interest. On the drive back from Tuncurry to Sydney today made a stopover with JimmyDave to read about the history of the place and do the caches around the lake. We found though JimmyDave was the one who placed his hands on it first.
Nice lovely day for a stroll! Thankfully no reason to stray from the path on this one
Lovely walk and great find, but was too hot so found this one and will come back another day for the rest!!
What a lovely place! We’ll definitely be back here. Thanks kingfisher_au for placing and maintaining this cache.
Well two teams looking And both found a cache. Two containers were within 3m of each other. So funny. Thanks for the hunt.
There were two people, Mrs Shifter and Pesky!, searching for the cache and we both exclaimed "found it" at the same time! We had found two containers a couple of metres apart. Both log sheets and signatures from last year and this year. We placed both containers together at the location of the larger container which was at 0m according to MRs Shifter's GPSr.
Thanks for the hide kingfisher_au. PM will be sent with photo of location of the containers.

Found today with nellc while out for a walk. Had to wait for some muggles to walk past, then easy find this time around.
Log signed and replaced before another group came past.

On a bike ride around the Walka Water Works picking up a few caches here and there.
A quick find in a neat little spot.
Another one as I hone in on 5000 finds.

Met a lady photographer here, talked about geocaching in general, she had friends in England who were very serious about their geocaching.
She was surprised to learn she was standing at GZ.
We shared a laugh and a yarn, I signed log and was on my way.
