Up for a bit of mountain biking in the forest.A quick grab on the way past.TFTC
The last time we came to Naseby the forest was closed because of fire danger and thought it might be the same today, but no it was open. Thank you erninz, its a while since we found one of yours.
Couple people driving past were probably confused as to what I was doing but it was an easy find thanks for the cache
Out for a bike round Naseby on the last day of our holiday. Found with Conbat. TFTC
A quick find here as we continue on to Naseby, sadly no time to continue and find the rest of the series today but we will return! TFTC
Nice to revisit. Not sure how much of the devastation caused by gold mining or forestry?
A nice quick find while travelling northwards on a caching roadie. Cache all good tftc
Picked up a handful of caches in and around Naseby today before heading out to the coast. This one was a reasonably quick find. #4952. TFTC.
What I thought would be the last for the day. But then I was tempted by an alternate entrance. Unusual camo. TFTC.
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at Ranfurly for a couple of days, exploring in & around the local area … we went for a quick visit to Naseby … and we thought it would be rude not to check out these caches on the way … found this with no issues, log completed & cache returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,276 for us.
On our way to Naseby to meet for a 4x4 trip. We left camp a bit earlier to find a couple of caches. Thanks for this cache erninz.
Needed to go and do some maintenance on Lomond Waltz in Naseby so decided to have bit of a raod trip and actully find a few caches (which we haven't done for a while). Just some easy park and grabs to get back into it. TFTC
Spending the weekend in Naseby and getting a few caches after having a few busy weeks at work. Needing a break!! We used to come up here a lot when the kids were little. One of my favourite places in the world. So peaceful and quiet. TFTC.
Term 2 break. Planning for next term is done and it's time for a winter getaway before the third term begins. So it's off to Naseby we go to rekindle childhood memories of racing around the tailings but this time hunting for caches.

Easter family adventures. Staying in Naseby a few nights. Came out to Ranfurly this morning for a bit of a bike around. Used to come to Ranfurly a LOT growing up with both sets of grandparents and several Aunts and uncle living here. Heading back to Naseby for another bike around the forest. ...a wee detour up the side road....
16. cache today after quiting Otago Central Rail Trail due to strong wind blowing from the side - not enjoyable and even safe. After visit of heated swimming pool full of kids I wanted latte, unluckily one coffee closed, one had problem with coffee machine. Never mind, time for GC . Quick found. Now Naseby is waiting .
Found on a caching "Dawn Raid" to Naseby/Ranfurly area. Big waterhole just at the start of the road. Was deeper than I anticipated and, being on the bike, I got a bit wet. TFTC.
Up in Naseby this weekend , and a chance to grab some of the newer placed caches that have been put out since last time I was up this way.
Out on my bike, and amazed at out wet things are up this way.
Quick find.

Decided that today's target would be to get as many caches as possible in the Naseby area. Some of the plan got side tracked by more interesting caches and some caches were unavailable due to all the holidaymakers in town.
Stopping at every cache we pass on our way to Naseby and going up the side roads as necessary. This was a nice easy find at the beginning of this road. tftc

A nice quick first find for the day, thanks. The road is closed further on from here, logging operations.
Ms_KR and I decided to have an extended Show Weekend break, and today we headed for Queenstown. A lovely day and plenty of little distractions was had by all!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

A fairly quick find after initially trying some wrong hint objects. For us the cache was 6 metres south of the coordinates, however the position was logical. TFTC
On the way to the Cambrians near St Bathans we decided to take a short detour to Naseby as there was a couple of FTF still available. Had a lovely stroll around to grab some caches.

20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of this event - you won't want to miss it!

FTF only because I checked my emails this morning after my race - 160 km 32.30 roughly. Just on dusk getting round yesterday after starting at 10am Friday. Lots of walking but not as sore. Checked my emails this morning and saw a challenge starting today of a seven day streak. Will I try for it. . Will pick this up and then decide. Do I have the energy? But I really want this souvenir.
Forgot again to put [FTF]
Also got the souvenir
