Another find for the day whilst exploring the Sunshine coast hinterland. Here it didn't take too long after expanding the search area. Highlight here was watching a train roll by into Palmwoods station as I signed the log. Thanks spiderwebbs4!

When I pulled up in the car Mrs Woodyrothwell said to me, you go out and have first crack with your awesome ability and if you don’t find it, I will come out and mop up. What a derogatory comment wrapped in a shitty compliment.

The pressure was on and I thought I had it all covered. The problem was that I couldn’t find anything and I could feel every second counting down. My heartbeat was racing at 180 beats per minute so I was using it like a metronome to count how long before my wife got out to smoke me again.

Then I heard the car door slam and I knew the master had entered the arena. Still I was hoping for a last minute redemption but I couldn’t see anything. From 20 metres away she yelled out, “I can see it”. Thinking it was one of those cheap slap-downs that all husbands deserves from their wives, she walked straight over to it. F&£% me! tftc

Nice easy find! Did have a nice slide down the little slope (ouch) but everyone had a good laugh.

Meandering my way down this foresty road alongside the railline was a pleasant surprise the other day.

A long time ago, i'd earmarked down this way as a possible access to konie's eudlo cache, then promptly forgot in the chase of adventure elsewhere.

Well happily in that time, a couple more boxes now decorate the countryside, so i've decided to finally do something about it.

An easy find thanks to the use of bright colours, thanks spiderwebbs4 for taking me to this peaceful place with a geocache!

Today is my 17th Wedding Anniversary, but I needed to get this cache. The cache was one that I wanted for this month for a challenge cache. After bribing my beautiful wife and two children on the verge of becoming charming pre-teen and teen (12 and 13), we set off for the day. I got to do the ones I wanted while stopping firstly at McDonalds then Coolum Beach so my wife could take photos to remember our day out, I then got to do a couple more before giving them what I promised sometime in their favourite place, an ice cream shop and fudge shop in Montville.
Once happy, we set off again towards home after a massive day out, stopping a little on the way home.
I would have to say I have an amazing wife who not only agreed to do this on our Wedding Anniversary but allowed me to cache along the way, not many partners would be that giving, the kids were a little easier as they just wanted the ice cream and fudge.
Had a great day out with the family but also got the caches I needed, a big thank you to them especially when it’s not really their thing.
This wasn’t me writing this. thank you darling for the caching day.

This was the second cache on my detour home. It was a quick and easy find as the cars whizzed past while I was looking over the tracks! Now I am off home with my beans to get started on my Slow Cooked Red Lentil Soup! TFTC

1 Jun 2017 The sale of Jerry Garcia's favourite guitar, Wolf, raised millions of dollars for a civil rights group when an auction of the custom-made guitar fetched a total of $3.2m (£2.5m). It was bought at a New York charity concert by Brian Halligan, CEO of marketing group HubSpot and a lifelong fan of the band - or a "Deadhead". The money raised would go to the Southern Poverty Law Centre.

With a day free, a list was compiled of newly published caches in the Caboolture area, on the way to a compiled list of caches around the Yandina, Wappa Dam and Nambour areas.

The hint made it fairly easy to locate this one. No trains running while we were here today.

Took us some time as the GPS wouldn't settle - spent some time walking up and down before the fellow was spotted. TFTC

On the way home from visiting my mum at peregian springs I treated myself to a couple of smileys. It was a nice muggle free place for a cache and the hint helped for a quickish find. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

A morning in Palmwoods with holster and thehairbear and it was agreed that we should venture along the road to see what we could find.

A short stop and quick stroll to GZ and the cache was soon in hand.

Once the log was signed all was returned as found and we were off to the next one.

After feeding our daughters animals in Peachester, we set off for Palmwoods in search of some smilies for the day. Parked up and a short walk to GZ and the cache soon revealed itself. TFTC spiderwebbs4

We will just stop here a minute to find this little beauty and we will be on our way.
I trotted over and found the cache signed the log and popped it back and headed out again.
This was a new adventure down this road that I had not been before,
Headed back to my daughters past that muggle tree which I could not get. Ah well one day!
