It's muggle central in Byron, so I haven't been able to get into town. I'll be there for work next monday however and will replace the cache then.
Looks like this one is missing. Went to replace it the other day, but too many muggles about. I'll be back in the next week or so with the new container.
DNF for this one, I looked at all the likely spots you would/could hide a cache around GZ, maybe the box wasn't replaced. also looked at previous logs, saw a lot of DNF's.. MattyRx.
Attempted to find this at 1:55:00 PM on 13Nov2020

After 3 DNFs I imagine that this one has gone missing. I'll be back in Byron on Monday with a new box.
After a quite odd year, Hawko2017 and I decided a road trip to Byron Bay for a mates birthday bash would be a nice break. And if we could find a few caches on the way, that would just be gravy.
End cut & paste;
This morning myself and Richard decided to walk up into the hills, expecting a nice view, and a little cache.
It started to drizzle quite significantly as we reached the summit. And while it took us ages to find the prize, it was totally worth it.
I suspect the cache has been subject to a bit of cache creep, as it wasn’t found quite where the hint suggested.
Tftc.

Found the cache today! Took me less than 5 minutes, but within a minute using the hint. Great view!
We found this spot today the 30th of August 2020. This was our first Geocache and we are looking forward to finding more.
Found at 2:15 PM GAFF1.
A very unexpected little rise to get a great view from the west looking east of BB. Nice work and thankfully it was a good sized container. We are becoming so tired of looking for micros in this region
Thanks MattyRx.

Found it on a sunny winter Tuesday while visiting Byron Bay. Another great view. TFTC
Another lovely spot to visit with nice views, in fact the whole coastline is really beautiful and so refreshing to see. At GZ, E_Smiley made a quick find and info was obtained from inside the container. TB dropped off.

I found lots of caches on a roadtrip holiday up to Byron Bay. Over the course of the week, I targeted a variety of caches that worked towards different statistic-based goals. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this fantastic recreational activity.
Easy park and grab. Collected the information for the bonus. Thanks!

Dropped by today to check on the cache - all is good, except all swag has been depleted. Just a logbook there now.

Today we planned to head to Byron Bay a bit of sightseeing & of course some geocaching.
The beach front & the shopping areas were packed with tourists. The other thing we soon learnt was that you must pay for parking every where. This town is definately for the young people.
It was good to get away from the hustle & bustle of town. A great view from this little rocky nob. Collected the information for the wetland cache.
This must have been one of 2 places where there were no tourist around.
Thanks for placing this cache MattyRx

Tijdens rondrit op Cape Byron en verplaatsing naar Murwillumbah deze cache gezocht en gevonden.
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.

Found this one early one morning whilst in the area for work. it was the only cache i managed to find whilst up here even though i got the code for the puzzle version. TFTC.
Quite a different area of Byron and we were glad it wasn't crowded so we could enjoy the views in silence and log without a hurry. Thank you!
DreamerSkye and I decided a last minute road trip for my 40th birthday was in order. So we packed the car and headed over the border, destination Byron Bay!
After an awesome meal at Treehouse (my favourite restaurant in Byron!) to celebrate my birthday we thought a run around town and another cache would top off the night. And that’s how we found ourselves here.
I’ve been coming to Byron for a long time and never knew about this lookout. Geocaching takes you to the best places! It was beautiful to see all the lights at night
Made sure to collect the extra info.
Thanks for the smiley MattyRx
Happy to part with a FP for this cache.

Hmmm, weather looking a bit ordinary around the southside of Brisbane & our son mentioned he was heading to Byron Bay for a spot of R & R so south it was ... there has to be sunshine somewhere today, even if we have to go interstate to find it!
#4 of 10 finds today.
A nice spot quite handy to GZ to park the Geo-Beast.
A short leg stretch & the cache was soon in hand.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
Quite a nice breeze here on the rise & the views aren't too shabby either.

Unfortunately this cache is so easy to overlook, as it doesn't look like anywhere significant on the map. But the trip is well worth the effort. I walked up from Tallow Beach, and what stunning views I saw on the way.
This cache was sneakily tucked away, and I was surprised at how big it was! Bonus coordinates worked out, I placed the cache back. A great one, have a favourite point. TFTC.
Afterwards, I headed back down to Tallow Beach on a different track. 15km walked today, almost time for some goon! Happy Australia Day!

6th cache found in New South Wales Shire of Byron.

Making our way out of Byron we decided to pick this one up too. Quickly found by geotild. Signed our names and returned to where we found. TFTC MattyRx
Our most eastern cache (to date...)
We would never have found this great little view point without caching, so thanks for placing one here.

Found it today as part of the other cache. Did a nice walk around the town, while my friends stayed ill in the hostel.

Nice quick find. Great view at the end of the day. Took the California trackable and left a Xmas tree.
My only find of the day. I'm happy to see a few new caches have sprouted up since I was last in Byron.
The ultimate goal today was Surfers Paradise / Gold Coast, but first we made a detour to Byron Bay and logged some caches there! Thanks and greetings!

***COs- Gradually trying to catch up on a major logging backlog, some I'm sorry to say, stretches back a few years. Please note- I'm logging each cache on the day that I visited it, not the day I'm logging on. Cheers??*******************************************On a sudden weekend away and snaffling caches here and there. Visited here and got the numbers for the wetlands cache. Good view of the area from up here.TFTC??
I had an hour to kill in Byron at about 6am today, so decided to hit up some of the caches that are about. I've been trying to up my difficulty rating find average lately for a challenge cache, so the new byron puzzle caught my eye. After checking out what I needed to do, I soon found my way here, just after sunbreak. all the sun worshippers and amateur photographers were on the other lookout facing east so i had GZ all to myself. Still took me a minute to find though, even if it is such a burly box, Looks like the swags degraded a bit, if I know how the CO likes to stack the stashes with stock, just a biro and a deck of cards left, however the important bit, the log, was there, which of course I signed, and a travel bug which I helped out to stretch it's legs a while. lastly i scribbled the necessary numbers on the inside of my wrist before heading back to the car in search of the next cache in the series.
Cheers mattyrxm great spot, great cache and great view. trifecta.

I was so stumped I read the previous logs and checked the hint, but I just couldn't see it. Hopefully my geosenses are just off and it's still there! Thanks anyways for bringing me to a nice viewpoint ️
We spent the weekend in Byron Bay. Because of the strong wind almost all our planned activities had to be canceled. So there was enough time for geocaching.
Thanks to all owners for hiding and maintenance of their caches!

First time in Byron Bay,
Amazing place, amazing view. It was worth to say "goodbye" for my travel-buddy here.

Thank you MattyRX for bringing me here. Whilst hubby was seeing the sights scuba diving in the area I made my way to this lookout on foot. The views are fantastic. The cache is nicely built and though I would have loved to have completed this series it wasn’t going to be. TFTC
