This one was missing when I checked today, a bit hard to hide something here now, so I'll archive it.
Unfortunately I had no luck finding this one today.
Had the place to myself, found the piece of timber but no cache to be found.
Maybe next time

Visiting from New Zealand for a family gathering in Byron Bay. This was the closest cache to our accommodation. Headed off for an early morning walk before it’s too hot. Got to the resort and felt rather conspicuous waking through. Once on the walkways it was fine. Arrived at the lookout and didn’t take too long to track down the cache. Cache and log all fine. No trackable present. Thanks for a beautiful spot to watch the day dawning and the reflections on the water.
Found this one very quickly as it had fallen down. Replaced in a secure spot (hopefully).

This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled south to Byron Bay for a long weekend getaway.
On Saturday, we visited the Bangalow markets, Newrybar, and then walked at Killen Falls. It was then a drive along the coast via Lennox Head, Whites Beach and then checking in at Suffolk Park.
On Sunday, we started the day with a hike in Goonengerry National Park before having a late breakfast in Byron Bay. We perused the town's shops, enjoyed Suffolk Park's beach, and then returned back to Byron Bay for dinner.
Finally on Monday, we visited The Farm in Byron Bay, and then later saw the lighthouse at Cape Byron.
Today, it was an early morning start to drive to Goonengerry National Park and subsequently walk the Goonengerry waterfalls trail. An enjoyable start to the day and great to see the top of the falls along the ridge. We then drove back to Byron Bay for breakfast via Mullumbimby, and then walked around the shops of Byron Bay. We decided it was beach time, so after making a quick stop at Tallow Beach to have a moment's silence for the ex-Project A.P.E. geocache, we returned to Suffolk Park and had a play on a nearby beach. In the late afternoon, we checked out Bolli Point walking the boardwalks in that area, and then had dinner in Byron Bay where we had a play on the beachside reserve.
We were staying in Suffolk Park, and this geocache was one of the only caches in the area, and it looked to be a scenic walk along established boardwalks. I had scoped this geocache yesterday and noticed the string of DNFs, so having contacted the CO, we got permission to make the replacement if we found the cache to be missing. So this afternoon, we parked as per the waypoint, and then made the nice picturesque walk to GZ. A really nice view of the nearby lake, and after admiring the area, we had a look around for this cache. Unfortunately, it felt like this cache was definitely gone, so with a bag of spares with us, we left behind what we thought was the best container choice. Thanks MattyRx for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Found with PoweArlo86, Baxamas907 and BubbaOtizmo before school. Lovely lovely walk on the boardwalk, easy find, unfortunately no pencil and we didn’t bring a pen. Contents of the box are quite wet but still a lovely find!
Had fallen in the water but we got it out and put it back in place as best we could

Our first full day in the area, we headed south, stopping at every surf beach it seemed, they were pretty busy for a Monday too.... 17 finds, including 6 GCA, and not a DNF, a great day with just a few scattered showers.
This was a great spot to start the day, we parked in the resort parking and followed our noses onto the boardwalk, with some postcard worthy views along the way we got to the end, and spotted the cache out in the open. We couldn't find anything to cover it with, so left it as we found it. TFTC!, an awesome spot. The log was pretty full too....

A nice little spot this afternoon for a little wander around the boardwalks. Went on one which wasn't the correct one, but found the right boardwalk to be on. Quick find. Tftc
Nice one!!! The cache was exposed but we covered this up. Nice and quiet as we walked in the dark! with deafsanta
Found! Log was pretty full, but managed to find some space & luckily brought my own pen. Might need a new log putting in & small pencil.
Beautiful location, nice & peaceful, thanks!

Nice walk, unfortunately the cache container isn't waterproof and with all the rain it has become wet. Tftc
Took my folks here and they loved having a nose around, especially as they've been in Byron since the 1950s and have never walked in this area. We passed a juvenile green tree snake (or "yellow-bellied black snake" as some people call them), and also a generous-sized wallaby. There was nobody on any of the boardwalks despite the beautfiul morning; and also nobody at GZ, which enabled us to take a seat and sign the log at leisure. Happy days. Thanks for the cache, MattyRx, and for bringing us to this spot.
Xmas day find #3. Can’t afford to stay here but I’ll accept a little walk out back. Really enjoyed it and liked the simple find. Thanks!
The Byron @ Byron resort just happened to destination we are staying at for our Honeymoon. So after a lovely dip in the pool and dinner at the Forest restaurant, we wandered around the endless boardwalks and ended up at this lovely spot.
The cache was found quickly and a number of small black ants have utilised the cache as a home, but they weren't too much of a problem.
Thanks for the hide!

Cool spot. Is it ok proceed through a hotel. I am not sure. I am glad to get here.
Bolli Point. What a beautiful walk this was! I can't believe this has been here and I didn't know. Haha. Well I'm glad geocaching brought me here today. Now I know where I will go to chill out when I need it. Or to get a confidence boost about life and the journey. There's some pretty good quotes around here. I recognised a couple of them.
The lake was nice and full today. I didn't see any of the birdlife on the fading sign, but I did see fish jumping around. Apart from the local sightseeing or skydiving plane above and the him of distant traffic, this place was really peaceful.
Thanks for bringing me here.

My first Boxing Day cache
I sure took another awfully difficult route here. Access, as a note to future cachers, is via Byron at Byron. TFTC
