Back in Perth again for a weeks work. Popped back to the hotel in the hope of catching the last of the light to pick up a few caches just outside of the cBD.After hopping a bus it was a quick walk between caches and all found in good condition.Logs signed and safely returned ready for the next finder.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing and maintaining the cache for the enjoyment of othersCheers
After humming and erring about whether to climb the fence we decided that it was the only way! Soon had this cache in hand. Nice hide TFTC
How cool a geocache is this? Very Clever Idea and well constructed. And Thank you for showing me this nice location.
Out and about on a beautiful spring day with my geo-sister Jaypre caching in the city. Thankyou to Spotandpatch for placing Kakaroomup for me and others to find.Very clever idea-awesome Log a bit damp I added my name to the log at 14:53This is find number 324 for meTFTC
Out and about with my geo-sister Elliejay2024. Thanks to Spotandpatch for hiding this cache. This is cache for me 5614 September 2024What a great cache definitely a favourite for me
Quick find here for us today. Nice idea and a big thank you to the cache owner for the effort gone into constructing this one- a cache like this is always fun for all and worth the trip to GZ.
Finally able to log these caches after a major computer malfunction. Thanks Spoptandpatch
Amazing!!! This is my favorite cache this year... Location and container. We aimed for this park because of this cache and it's plethora of fave points and when we arrived and saw the construction, feared that it might be unavailable... But we were pleasantly surprised to find the massive bridge project doesn't disturb this excellent find. TFTC. Fave!
Loved this one, we felt a bit naughty coming in behind a separate fence line but tool was quickly located and cache soon in hand!Great day out, caught the train up to Perth again to practice walking around with 15kgs on our backs for our impending Bibbulmun E2E and what a better way goal than to have some geocaches to get along the way! Walked up St Georges Terrace then crossed over Heirisson Island than back over to McCallum Park and walked back towards the ferry back to Elizabeth Quay.....total of 17kms in total, 17 finds and 3 DNFs....not a bad haul!Thank you Spotandpatch for placing and maintaining Kakaroomup for us and others to find and enjoy! Another Fave Point added for enginuity and effort!
Aww, loved the little physical puzzle to grab this one - nice work! For anyone wondering, still fully accessible from the kangaroo sanctuary side in spite of recent construction.
Oops, almost as soon as i posted a dnf i realised i could go around, cache is still accessable and a lovely find to boot, nice one. I found this one on Wednesday 18 Oct 2023 at 5:33 pm and the weather is Clear Sky 22C 64% 7 m/s . This is find number 3,004 for me. A nice micro traditional cache to enjoy as part of my adventuring in City Of Perth. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. Thanks for placing this cache and for the fun of finding it Spotandpatch. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Apologies for late logging - just returned to the UK and catching up with the draft logs we made on our wonderful trip to Australia.A very clever hide and the extraction tool worked once we had it the right way up! Have a favourite point.TFTC
Nice bush walk and was easy to navigate. Theres a bunch of construction going on around Heirisson Island currently but cache is still accessible. TFTC!
Unfortunately there is a second fence and the coordinates direct me 20 meters behind it. So not a find for me.
I’m visiting from Brisbane for a few days while my husband is working here. The last time I was in Perth was in 1990. Today I walked 16km, getting quite wet in the rain at times, targeting particular caches.
I had to walk through water and climb over a low fence to get to gz. I was keen to find this one for a challenge cache which needs a certain number of special tools required.
Found both the tool and cache container but wasn’t sure what to do with the tool at first but it didn’t take long to work out. Very cool idea. Tftc

Thankfully this isn’t in the area of works but on the right side of the fence.
Have encountered something similar before.
Thank you for your efforts. Fav.

What a cool cache and great idea. Had to work out how to get over after a walk from the CBD. Wet grass and wet shoes but the cache made up for it. Enjoyed the rest of the islands and eventually found the mob.
Full time nomads since February 2014, back in WA to visit family.
Headed into the city with the bikes on the GeoCruiser to complete the final stages of some AdLabs and visit the caches on Heirisson Island.
Love your work. Fave point.

Found by the BBT Boys. Left a surprise in there for the next tinder. Awesome cash. Lots of fun
I am here from the UK visiting family. A good time to find as many caches as possible. Today I took the ferry across the river and walked along the South bank and then around Heirisson Island. I walked 13 km and really enjoyed the lovely scenery and the caches
I am always nervous of a field puzzle but I was successful here and signed the log

Brought own tool and it was certainly big enough. Magnet on a string really working out for us.
We’ve swapped sides of the fence; now on the southern side with access approval accompanied by site manager. Thanks for your respectful consideration.
Googel-translet!
Due to a construction site, this cache cannot be accessed from the right side at the moment. When we sneaked up, we weren't aware that we were standing on the "wrong" side of the "wall". .
Another luck was that we found the can with the tool in it first. Thanks to two slender hands and 10 additional skilled fingers, we were able to free the tool well. So that we could take a picture of this upcoming challenge on the wrong side.
It quickly became clear why this tool had to be used. So keep looking for the matching box .
Of course, these are also on the wrong side for us .
With teamwork, patience and a lot of imagination (thank you for the cell phone charging cable ) we were able to successfully LIFT the can and write it in the logbook.
Despite losing the cover twice, we were able to leave the cache completely in its original state.

Nimble fingers and articulated wrists are a clear advantage… and yes, we did it - from the wrong side of the fence, of course!
Looks like construction in the area is making this inaccessible and likely so for a couple of years
Found with that fearsome mud crab tftc. Couldn’t actually sign the log as there is work fences up and couldn’t find a way around. Will come back and sign another time
Found the tool and understand how to access caches using it. Due to construction we were stuck on the wrong side of the fence to use the tool, so log not signed today
We arrived yesterday from NSW. We are here for a few days before leaving Fremantle on a cruise ship for the Kimberleys. Thanks for placing this cache. It was a lovely Sunday morning for a walk. This is a beautiful place so close to the city.
This was a lot of fun to find! There were two curious guardians watching from the other side of the fence before they hopped away and I was left with the eager swarm of mosquitoes a little too happy to eat me!
Easy find and a lot of fun!

Loved the effort involved with this cache. Gave it a heart and was expecting it to be a bit harder to get out than it was. Rattus and ands are still there so be careful!
We spotted 2 things suspicious as we approached gz and sure enough that was what we were looking for great set up. TFTC
Home after travels and a beautifulday for public transport and walk.
Bus/train/bus to Victoria Park then walk to Heirisson Island!
Glad to make the find here! Thanks and a FP for this one!

Enjoyed wandering this island - plenty to do and saw plenty of animals - kookaburra, birds, pelican, no kangaroo. ants.
Excellent job. Sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt.
FP x 10 due to the fact that I didn't have to bring the tool to retrieve the cache...
So watch out for the ant nest near the cache. see photo. But after having a good look at the photo - I think the dead animal which ants lived there??

It was an easy find, but we had so much fun! The tool was an amazing idea, thanks
PS: the rat is still there, but doesn't stink

Loved the concept here, the only problem was the seat rat that was about 2 cm from the cache.
Very stinky find!

TaurusSix and I are spending the long weekend in Perth, catching a couple of shows, doing some sight seeing, exploring, shopping, catching up with friends and of course geocaching in between all the rest. Today we decided to explore the East Perth area neither of us have spent much time in this area before and there were several Adventure Labs as well as traditional caches to be had. We ended up doing a big walking circuit including Heirisson Island which was fantastic, Ozone Reserve, Point Fraser , Queens Gardens , East Perth Cemeteries, Victoria Gardens and Wellington Square . Another perfect spring day weather wise we could not have asked for better. All in all a wonderful day of geocaching and exploring.
This was our third non Adventure Lab cache find of the day. We were very excited to walk across the bridge to Heirisson Island. Heirisson Island was such a delightful place to explore and find seven geocaches and one Adventure Lab. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk , with great views from every direction. We did not see any kangaroos today however we did see plenty of bird life from pelicans, swans, ducks, cormorants, parrots and plenty of small bush birds. There were a few muggles about too so we had several conversations about geocaching with most being quite interested.
This was a clever cache hide just as we found it a muggle parent and muggle baby came by so Taurus Six needed to explain to them what we were doing. TFTC Spotandpatch

Over from the Uk and staying in Kalamunda with family. Came down to the Island to let our young grandchildren experience geocaching. Took a few moments to work out but great to find something different as a geocache host. Fav point given. TFTC
Today we went for a walk around Heirisson Island. Saw and heard a lot of different birds, yet couldn't spot a single roo which was a bit disappointing. Anyway, the seven nicely crafted caches we found on the island made our day.
The tool worked perfectly for us. Not the first time we found one of these contraptions after all, but still great fun.

Tool didnt quite work as intended however managed to get it put anyway TFTC
Very smart but extraction was hindered by the tool box lid being very stiff and the cache being upside down.
A favorite nevertheless.

We are on Perth for work but have taken the morning to explore Herrision Island and see how many geocaches we can grab. What a beautiful place. TFTC #1
I did not expect to end up at Heirisson Island today, but the final waypoint of an Adventure Lab brought me close by and I was curious. This cache is just so clever, however it did not take me too long to work out what to do.
