Weve semi-disabled Honkey until Wednesday afternoon. In the meantime, if you find what we left there and message the CO, claim the Find. Container taken home for repairs
I spent about 40 mi utes searching. Finally found the GZ only thanks to the photo. Container fell down. I tried to attach it to the wire, but it is not solid. As well the logbook is almost full (last space left).Maintenance is recommended
Back in Perth again for a weeks work. Popped back to the hotel in the hope of catching the last of the light to pick up a few caches just outside of the cBD.After hopping a bus it was a quick walk between caches and all found in good condition.Logs signed and safely returned ready for the next finder.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing and maintaining the cache for the enjoyment of othersCheers
We had the GPS AT 0m but all we could see was a discarded pair of socks, boots, table tennis hat and ball!
A nice walk here this afternoon after the rain stopped! I liked the clever cache! Tftc
Out and about with my geo-sister Elliejay2024. Thanks to Spotandpatch for hiding this cache. This is cache for me 5584 September 2024Good hide
Out and about on a beautiful spring day with my geo-sister Jaypre caching in the city. Thankyou to Spotandpatch for placing Honkey for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 14:25This is find number 320 for meTFTC
We had seen this style of cache before so it was a quick find for us today but may be a little challenging for some. Looks great and is a clever cache design. Thanks Spotandpatch.
Love it. Love the juxtaposition of this serene island amongst the bustling city traffic. Pen ran out half way through log sign, hope it's enough - TFTC
Excellent container! ... And amazing beautiful tree and flowering bush nearby! Thanks for this funky find!
Yay... Took a couple of visits as it just seemed to escape me! Happy to make the find today
Phewf, we made this one harder than we should have....we knew what we were looking for and still took us maybe 15 mins to locate! Had to resort to a spoiler photo to find and was one of those 'DOH! How did we not see this straight away' moments! Great day out, caught the train up to Perth again to practice walking around with 15kgs on our backs for our impending Bibbulmun E2E and what a better way goal than to have some geocaches to get along the way! Walked up St Georges Terrace then crossed over Heirisson Island than back over to McCallum Park and walked back towards the ferry back to Elizabeth Quay.....total of 17kms in total, 17 finds and 3 DNFs....not a bad haul!Thank you Spotandpatch for placing and maintaining Honkey for us and others to find and enjoy! Fave point added for creativity and our overthinking!
Searched for this several times over the years! At last!!! Interestingly had figured out all the hints but just couldnt spot the sucker!!! Thanks geobrother for eagle eyes. Tftc
You rippaaaa.... got a lost in tricks, thought too hard and spent way too long on the hands and knees .....turns out didn't even need to propose ......Team decision... fave point
Puzzled....I had the exact location on my compass so sat and looked about then spotted it, some of the best camp hides I've had the pleasure of searching for are in this island, awesome
Thanks for the beautifully crafted cache - super creative and just barely different enough to spot.
Trobat! Encontrado! Found It! First time, and not the last, visiting Heirisson island. Was amazing island and specially because I found the 6 of 6 Kangroos! What a good experience! LOVE It!Lucky of me, was discovered when I arrive st the perfect cordinates. Good camo invisible for the muggle eyes. Moltes grcies! Muchas gracias!
The last one on this side of the island. A clever one and thankfully I spottet it rather quickly. For all the caches of this owner on the island a favorite point. Thank you
I’m visiting from Brisbane for a few days while my husband is working here. The last time I was in Perth was in 1990. Today I walked 16km, getting quite wet in the rain at times, targeting particular caches.
I thought this island looked interesting and it and the caches didn’t disappoint, though I missed out on the Midden one - another time. Only saw two kangaroos but lots of birds.
Took a few minutes then spotted the well camouflaged cache. I loved all of the clever caches here so will give this one a fp but it’s really for all of them. Tftc

Another quick find on the island. Enjoying my early morning walk from the cbd.
Full time nomads since February 2014, back in WA to visit family.
Headed into the city with the bikes on the GeoCruiser to complete the final stages of some AdLabs and visit the caches on Heirisson Island.
Love your work. Fave point.

3rd one on the island that we have not found. We hope they can be a little easier to find. Kids are losing interest.
While I was finding the cache, my wife located a kangaroo sleeping very close by. TFTC; a favourite for the experience!

Maintenance requested was not necessary as the container was in situ. I made an unnecessary replacement nonetheless.
I am here from the UK visiting family. A good time to find as many caches as possible. Today I took the ferry across the river and walked along the South bank and then around Heirisson Island. I walked 13 km and really enjoyed the lovely scenery and the caches
We arrived yesterday from NSW. We are here for a few days before leaving Fremantle on a cruise ship for the Kimberleys. Thanks for placing this cache. It was a lovely Sunday morning for a walk. This is a beautiful place so close to the city. I was worried about this one with a recent DNF. It did not take long and there it was
Hint made me pause for a moment, but a quick scan had the cache staring me in the face. TFTC!
Wow the mossies were viscious here. I had an idea what this cache might look like. Thankfully it was a fairly quick find. Otherwise, I’ll be a feast for the mossies. TFTC
Very clever! I love the creative cache! The guardian of the cache was sure to say hello along with a small swarm of mosquitoes. I prefer the bird!
My first geocache in Perth, I was a bit cautious thinking of snakes but my mate didn’t have such worry and got it In no time, his first cache. Nice camo. TFTC
Home after travels and a beautifulday for public transport and walk.
Bus/train/bus to Victoria Park then walk to Heirisson Island! Glad this one was away from a muggle family! TFTC!

Took a good ten minutes but eventually noticed it. Thanks, from a Fort Worth, TX cacher!
I was getting frustrated looking for this one, when I turned my head to the right angle and spotted it.

TaurusSix and I are spending the long weekend in Perth, catching a couple of shows, doing some sight seeing, exploring, shopping, catching up with friends and of course geocaching in between all the rest. Today we decided to explore the East Perth area neither of us have spent much time in this area before and there were several Adventure Labs as well as traditional caches to be had. We ended up doing a big walking circuit including Heirisson Island which was fantastic, Ozone Reserve, Point Fraser , Queens Gardens , East Perth Cemeteries, Victoria Gardens and Wellington Square . Another perfect spring day weather wise we could not have asked for better. All in all a wonderful day of geocaching and exploring.
This was our fourth non Adventure Lab cache find of the day. It felt a little snakey getting to gz. Once there though found the very clever cache container, logged and replaced and on our way to the next cache on Heirisson Island.
Heirisson Island was such a delightful place to explore and find seven geocaches and one Adventure Lab. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk , with great views from every direction. We did not see any kangaroos today however we did see plenty of bird life from pelicans, swans, ducks, cormorants, parrots and plenty of small bush birds. There were a few muggles about too so we had several conversations about geocaching with most being quite interested.

Found by our Australian son in law who spotted something that was not quite right! Another genius hide. TFTC
Today we went for a walk around Heirisson Island. Saw and heard a lot of different birds, yet couldn't spot a single roo which was a bit disappointing. Anyway, the seven nicely crafted caches we found on the island made our day.
Absolutely loved this one. The hint really helped, at least we knew what to expect.
