#7195 Last day of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are heading home, leaving Bathurst and heading down south via the AL on Mt Panaorama. Warm clear conditions again today, unlike north of the border
A recalled Ben Chifley came from Bathurst. Good to visit this one today.
Thanks pmoorey2

Found with Key_Tat and Tatt2squared on our Christmas holidays visiting family for Xmas... thanks for placing... nice and quick smiley. TFTC.
We were passing through Bathurst late afternoon on our way to Kandos for the night and I put a request to The Driver for a cache before we left the town. It is also a topic that interests me. I must check out where others in the series are. This came up as reasonably easy to access, so we headed this way. We loved the rather dilapidated appearance of the park and its lanterns. Luckily I found the cache pretty quickly, signed the log and we were able to get on our way. I read the information from the photos I took there afterwards.
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Bathurst for a 9 day holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback Camper Trailer at the Bathurst NRMA Big4 Caravan Park, and plan to collect some caches & Adventure Labs in the Bathurst and surrounding areas.
Today we went for a drive up to Abercrombie, completing the cache trail along the Macquarie River walking path, then back down to Bathurst town centre via West Bathurst, collecting caches along the way. We ended the day with a few caches at Macquarie Vale. This was the 3rd of 30 finds for the day (day 6), and 93rd find of the holiday.
A quick find of the nicely colour camoed cache container. Signed the log and then replaced as found, TNLN. The old lights around the park looked quite nice too. TFTC pmoorey2.

Day 3
With the COVID19 restrictions lifting, we decided to head to the Bathurst area this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild. Our intention was to attack the TRLT trail and others around the area.
We had a great four days, only a few DNF’s but mostly smiley's, and have left plenty for another adventure. Lovely area to cache in and we look forward to coming back for some more fun and laughs.
Finished with the TRLT trail for the day as it was now dark and pretty cold so we decided to hit some town ones instead.
No worries with this one.
Thanks for the hide pmoorey2 and thanks Rapidlywild for another great weekend away.

With COVID19 locking everyone down for so long, a MUCH overdue geocaching mission was welcomed. FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided to head towards Bathurst and attack some of the TRLT caches and see how far we can go. Spoke to a few of the CO's prior to heading up to see if we could assist with any maintenance that was required, so we went prepared with some camo containers and some fresh log books. We had a wonderful weekend stretching the legs and enjoying the country side.
We decided to grab a few town caches before heading back to our accommodation. No issues here, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the hide pmoorey2 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

Winter 2020 trip to Bathurst. Day 1. I joined forces with Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for another visit to Bathurst and the surrounding area to visit new caches and try to find caches we have all managed to not find on previous visits. It was an overwhelmingly successful trip where we all managed to find some nemesis caches that stretch back several years and many trips to the region. Despite the cold we camped each night and had a most enjoyable weekend now we are allowed out to roam a bit further.
Thanks for the cache pmoorey2

20,790. Found during a welcome June Long Weekend caching run with minniek and albida33.
After 2 months of being in Lockdown it was great that travel restrictions in NSW have been relaxed allowing non-essential travel (ie Caching) to restart. We decided that a run up around Bathurst to try to avenge a few previous DNFs was in order. A very successful trip with 13 previous DNFs crossed off. This cache was a 'new' one for us, and we made a nice quick find at GZ.
TFTC pmoorey2 !!

With COVID-19 restrictions eased so that we can travel within our state, fitzy_1965, albida33 and I headed into the Bathurst region for a long-awaited caching weekend away to turn as many DNF's into smilies as possible and collect any unfound caches inbetween.
A quick find here today.
A quick find here today.
TFTC after a clear gap from the cars I was able to do a quick grab and sign and on my way to the next find for the night
Port Macquarie heading to Millicent.
Todays trip was from Bylong to Bathurst. Stopped for a couple of TRLT caches before making an overnight stop here.
Spent the afternoon touring the area following the caching trail.

#2013 First of ten finds after a short search while travelling from Bathurst to Dubbo for the weekend. TFTC
it was hard at first, had to get really low but easy and exciting when it was found
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
A couple of caching days cancelled so decided to drop off TBs so they can continue on their way.
Found this one as we were headed in a homeward direction with ilook4geo. Read the geo signs correctly and dived into the right place on the first try to retrieve the container. The cache log soon had two mores names noted on it. Many thanks go to pmoorey2 for placing this cache. All was put back as it was found.
Doing some more caching as we travel the highway with goingplaces2. Cache found, both names added, put everything back, job finished! All is in good order. TFTC.
2nd attempt to find this cache. A lot quicker this time around, I left the charm. Love the container... Signed the log TFTC
