Logs
Found thrown on ground behind concrete part. Have put back in barrier as close to coordinates as we could
Popped in first to grab some gelato at the shops before heading over. I assumed where it was located it'd be tucked away in the typical spot, but it stumped me for a second TFTC
Easy find a short walk from the nearby shops. Cache is a bit rusty but the contents were dry and in good condition. TFTC
I was visiting my daughter who lives nearby, so made a slight detour to grab a cache first.I was originally going to get the cache further along, but was thwarted by a lawn mowing muggle. So, I doubled back to get this one.I spent a wee while looking in the more obvious place before making the find. Thanks for setting this up

Cache found easily, but if it was once magnetic, it isn't any longer - still nicely hidden. TFTC

No problems at all. Good view from the bridge.
Road trip with Gorby for the "18th" Event in Hamilton. We had some time to pick up a few hides. This was one of them.
I`m logging this cache as my 10173 find.
TFTC Biartch79!

Came down to Hamilton for a day of caching. We started at Hampton Downs and gradually worked ourselves south. I'm with tramyard in his green 4wd buggy, great little car and economical. After buying some honey for me and fruit for Ark along side the road, we came here.
Another bridge over the motorway, and a fine day to be had for us. Thanks Biartch.

A quick stop off on our way to Lake Kainui.
We arrived at GZ and were briefly distracted by an unfortunate sight. A poor bear had been abandoned and was lying wet and lonely in the garden. We hope this is just an unfortunate mistake and that his owners are about to return and rescue him.
After telling the bear that everything will be okay (and hoping we weren't providing false hope) we returned our focus to the cache and were pleased to make a quick find.
After looking at the view, and saying farewell to the lost bear, we headed off to find another nearby cache.
Thanks Biartch79 for placing this series.

It was pushed really far back so we could barely see it. Little hands managed the grab, spiders and all. It is no longer magnetic but we left it not so far back so it should now be an easy find.
Found it but it has been pushed in too far. Will send you a photo via message. TFTC.
Doesn’t look like the photos, as is now a non-magnetic non-camo’d eclipse tin.

Keylev had seen the event in Hamilton on the long weekend and asked if I was keen to join them for the cache and knock some caches off in Hamilton. Was an easy YES. After a successful FTF for before leaving Auckland we hit the road for Hamilton.
Keylev doesn't like spiders so I had to make the grab for this one and sign the log.

A couple of weeks back had noticed the 18th @ 18 event being held in Hamilton on a public holiday and thought it would be a good excuse to head down for the day. We (Mr NZTravellers, NZIceman and I) started a little later than planned due to new local publications which needed the ‘patch defending’. After a quick coffee at home we set off.
More spider webs but once again a cache as well!
Thanks for the cache.

Cool cache. With osbourneroadoddballs. 4th for the day. It’s been while so enjoying seeing the new spaces around.
Looking forward to having these motorways open after watching construction for sooooo long. Tvmftc
Out with my daughter today to get a few “treasures”. This was the first new find for both of us together.
The Freezer Mice strike again!!!
A return visit for us (since the cache had been replaced) and an easy find.

Struggled to reach this at first, but with the use of a nearby stick we soon had this in hand, TFTC
Out caching today with nufrat and AlunB in Hamilton. I missed this one the last time I was here since it was just out of my reach, but today it was extracted from its hiding place. TFTC.
Arrived at GZ and got a good park and approached GZ. Looked in the obvious spot and no luck. Reread the cache page and saw the DNFs and got out a longer magnetic stick but still had no luck Went back to the car and saw I had the perfect replace the cache and a blank log. Messaged the CO that I could do the replacement and got permission to leave it (in the middle one ). TFTC
If this cache was hidden like the others, then it is missing, otherwise, I am blind and missed it.
Out for an afternoon caching mission with the kids.
Having found several of the others in this series, this should have been very easy.
Sadly, we couldn't find this one... even the kids small arms reaching in did not reveal anything.
Either the cache is missing, or it's been shoved in way too far.

Another bridge ticked off. Had to use a stick to retrieve but got it eventually. Tftc
My wife and daughter were out of town so I jammed the boys into the car for a raid on the Waikato! This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, the hint and a straight forward placement. It also helps to have found others in the series. Cheers Biartch79, TFTC
Didn't find this one but maybe we just didn't have long enough arms as previous logs mention it being pushed in to far quite often.
We had completed all caches in Hamilton some weeks ago. Now we see several new ones have appeared so met Squirrel Nutcase at Karapiro with a mission to collect all new caches today. Visited areas that we have cached and some new. Great to see new cache owners in the area, also sorry for the copy & paste.
Great day caching and thanks to cache owners for placements. SLTFTC

This is the last bridge to open over the Hamilton section of the Waikato Expressway that incorporates existing local roads.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap), and one of the nieces... We came up with this brilliant plan - Let's cache our way through Hamilton to Huntly, and then return via the Huntly section of the Waikato Expressway... Umm, someone didn't read the fine print - The Expressway doesn't open to traffic for a few weeks... Well, at least we went caching.
This bridge has been a long time coming... We struggled to extract the cache with our big, clunky fingers. After a bit of a fight and pincer maneuvers, we managed to pull it free. Thanks Biartch79 and TFTC.

Another nice cache visited with woolwood9 today.
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
*Pretty quick find on a busy day hunting caches in the area, we really enjoyed the drive / walk around.*
TFTC
Note: Sorry to log so late, we had been on a geocaching holiday for nearly 3 weeks and were heading home, but a bit earlier than expected so added some extra caches on outskirts of Hamilton and around Cambridge. Simply forgot to log the extra ones until now.
*Please check logs, our stamp is there.*

Managed to retrieve this cache after a struggle as it had been pushed in quite a distance and I could only just reach it. It's nice to see the progress along here and I'm interested to finally be able to drive on the new road once it has finished.
#672. Mr Northwood decided to head out early to beat the heat and grab a few of the many new caches popping up around Hamilton. Had mixed success and has since considered buying shares in Eclipse mints as obviously a lot of people buy them!
Great views of what looks like a very well advanced Waikato Expressway .. stick some asphalt and lines on it and you're done!
Missed out on another bridge earlier in the day, made the expected find here .. i.e. expected container, expected hidey hole.
All in order, TFTH.

Always interesting with this series as to whether the map will have caught up with reality or your GPS will be sending you down a road that no longer exists / doesn't exist yet. Fun. TFTC.
Time to build some bridges this afternoon.
The caches were all quickly in hand, logs signed and replaced as found.
Thank you for placing these caches.

Out and about cleaning up a few caches before attending an event. Thanks for the hide
With a bit of time on my hands I decided to have a bit of a go around Hamilton seeing as its in the back yard and the past year had basically quelled any chance for caching related activities
thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Another find for our newbie as we made sure of another souvenir to start the year. TFTC
Straight forward on a quiet holiday morning with no muggles around. Thanks for the series.
Merry Christmas!!
Heading out for a family bush walk and thought I'd grab a few caches as well. Was only able to get a couple of park and grabs as had the kids in the car. Looking forward to having this road finished. Thanks for the placement.

Another great view of the expressway. Thanks for this cache series - I wouldn't have an excuse to stop and enjoy the view otherwise.
I couldn't believe it when I first saw this cache registered. I had just found the nearby cache and had been there the day prior to this being registered so could have found this one easily if it had been published a day earlier! Ah well, them's the breaks! Went over to find this one after work for a dot day. TFTC
We were in Horotu when my wife noticed a notification for a new cache very close to home. A shame we were not at home. Once our chores we done we sped back and made the easy find to discover we were the 2nd to find, beaten by psychrn. Nevermind. Maybe next time.
Find number 6628. Boges and I were signing the log at the Goldmount Cache in the hills above Whangamata when the notification for this one out. No way we were going for the FTF from there. As we neared Hamilton on the return trip Boges suggested a small detour to tick this one off. Log signed and cache replaced. Time to go home for a well earnt beer. Thank you for the placement.
Saw this morning 1 1/2 hrs after it was published. Still no logs at this stage. Thought might as well have a look. Empty log book and signed at 0953 for a #ftf. Tftc
