I went visiting Myuna Farm today with family and while I was down in the corner of Melbourne, I went after a Multi so I could cross off another day of a challenge that I am working on. I wanted something that wasn't too difficult as I was "on the clock"... and this one fitted that requirement perfectly. Cache was easily found. Thanks **Pinkpggy7** for putting this one together.
Being school holidays, we had two extras on board so decided to head away from home base to fill in some time and finish the day at the beach for dinner. We had no problems getting the numbers needed and the grandies found the cache quickly once at GZ. Thanks for the placing of this cache.
After finding the numbers needed and with a very good GZ, one of the grandies found this very quickly. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
First we looked in the wrong place but when we looked in the second place, we found it. Thanks for putting the cache out.
Over the bay in Melbourne for a few days enjoying the multitude of caches on offer we concentrated on multis, labcaches and solved puzzles for this trip.Another straight forward multi that was easy to follow and with an easy cache retrieval at GZ, just the way we like. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the multi placement.
Back in the hood again whilst in marvellous Melbs. A sigh of relief as this was much more successful than Skyrail2. I did the sums and the cache was found quickly phew! TFTC and the FUN.
I struggled with this multi initially because I was looking at the wrong two pillars. Once I rectified this it was smooth sailing all the way to GZ. Thank you Pinkpiggy7 for placing and maintaining Skyrail #1 for us to find today.
I've been looking for more multi's to do as it lends me to be a more rounded cacher. I've been eyeing off the few here 'cos I like to walk instead of drving from cache to cache. After a few stumbling block I soon had good coords.
At GZ, the cache was hidden in a little less than a traditional for this style of hide. The log was completely full, but as I had a notebook on me for the multi's I added some paper.

Dropped in on this one whilst in the area, albeit the drizzle was getting heavier
Sought out the required info, did the cals and came up with a GZ which proved fruitful
All in good condition (other than the log being full) but found a spot to squeeze my mark in
Many thanx to Pinkpiggy 7

Got it after a lot of mental jiggery pokery whilst stood in middle of the trail but easy enough find. Another spot I have cycled past endlessly over the years so now it has a little secret too. The log was full so will need a replenish soon. THanks for exercising both my body and my mind!
This was much more successful than Skyrail2. I crunched the numbers and the cache was found in a typical location.
Nice straightforward multi to fill a gap in my calendar while I was in the vicinity. TFTC!
So while CJD was gloating about his superior parking prowess (yea, but I was lead car so I had the power), I found the blue dots and figured out our left from our right. D'oh!
After that it was a straightforward find. Looks like we're chasing all Pinkpiggy7 hides today.
All good here. Signed as LTEC. TNLN. Thanks for the hide for our enjoyment.

Nice easy multi considering the previous contender and sibling to this one.
Met up with LTEC and headed off to the starting location.
What? Left or right? Which way?
Oh read the description and it soon makes sense.
Ok, so having enough info, we soon decide to make way to WP2.
WP2 provides enough info to get to GZ….
I turn to LTEC and say “see… I told you we should’ve parked there”…!
Anyway GZ found pretty easily and our monikers were soon scribed upon the slate.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 3 TB.
TFTC and the fun today PP7.

Out with echidna44. This was a quick multi. Very enjoyable and a quick find at gz. Thanks Pinkpiggy7!
Out caching in Noble Park with pinnacle333 on a beautiful sunny day.
A quick multi along the skyrail. Thanks Pinkpiggy7

Out on my own today braving the elements. Having just supported grandson at local college in a speed rubic cube championship where a 2 x 2 can be done in 2.4 secs. With umbrella in hand i did the walk and picked up the clues. What a difference now with these train upgrades. Nice easy find at the end. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for bringing me here. Cache in excellent condition
I remotely searched for this cache while in Sri Lanka with my partner over FaceTime. I had a lot of fun helping with the calculation and it was a good way to connect remotely.
Sunny day so took the dogs for a stroll. I got side tracked and had to go back to waypoint 1 but I was enjoying it all.
Good spot, log is small (!) but kept dry.

I found the stages months ago during the boys softball training and returned this morning during softball warm-up to make a quick find. Parked almost on top of GZ too
Came down this way to continue on an Adventure Lab Series. Continued on to this one on a warm summers night and got the clues and to GZ very easily using Geogirl’s scooter.
In Melbourne for the morning, picking up a few caches with Team Crackers.
Collected the required information, did the calculations and headed off to GZ.
Cache found after a short search, signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Pinkpiggy7, for us and others to find.

The Drovers were down in Melbourne staying with us for a couple of days to get some work done on their canopy and while this was going on we thought it was the ideal opportunity to get out and do some caches in an area we don't get to very often even though it isn't that far from home.
It was quite a pleasant day weather wise today so we decided to do the multi's in the area. We collected the information here, did the substitutions and headed off to gz for a nice easy find in a logical location and our names were added to the log. We don't mind these sky rails at all, it certainly eases traffic congestion.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.

To many people are finding our caches in breach of lockdown provisions, disabling until things are open again.
Nearly got bowled over by a couple of cyclists! Was a fun time. Thanks for the cache

Was doing stuff online this morning when the NBN dropped out again, seems to be every day at the moment whilst they are sorting out these power issue after the storms, so I decided it was time to do some geocaching with multi's as priority for the day.
A nice quick decode and find to start out.

Today I had the self imposed challenge of getting 12 different cache types. This was one of the multi caches that I had planned for today
I quickly found this one just after 9 am between cars racing past, and a bike who almost took me out.
Thanks for the cache Pink Piggy 7

On the bikes today along this pleasant track. Did all the calls to get us to GZ without a problem. At GZ we made a quick discovery. Log signed and all back safe again.

Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for the placement and fun.

I found this cache today on my Bike Trails of the South East Tour. I had missed these two caches the other day as I cached when Mrs Rabbitto was shopping and got called back before these were attempted. I had also really wanted to ride at least part of the trail as I had walked parts of it quite a number of times and seen how tempting it looked. Today, I organised a route for 4 caches that took in the Dandenong Creek Trail, The Dandenong South Trail, The Djerring Trail and the Eastlink Trail. I felt like a king riding along here. What a wonderful path and cache. Thanks from D B-A
Because of a stupid back injury, we haven’t been caching in a couple of weeks and today I wanted to get out of the house for a short walk. The Skyrail caches fitted the bill perfectly.
With the information gathered, we headed to GZ, spotted the cache, then just needed to wait for the right opportunity to grab it. All signed & returned, we were off to the next.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 and for the record, I think the skyrail is a great idea. Anything to help keep the traffic moving.

All the steps worked out nicely on this one.
It didn't take us long to find the nicely hidden prize.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7.

Took us longer than I'd like to admit, we were off 00.002 of a degree and that made all the difference. TFTC! Onto skyrail #2
Another enjoyable effort from PP7. I'd parked the car a bit of a distance away from the posted coords thinking that I'd have a 50/50 chance of ending up close to it by the time I found the cache. Luckily I guessed correctly and after gathering the values at each stage arrived at a very logical hiding spot. As I completed the duties I reflected a little on the Skyrail.
On the one hand I don't think anyone could argue that the project has had some major benefits: reduction of traffic congestion due to removal of level crossings, more parking and more safe parking around train stations as well as by the bike path (space permitting), a well constructed bike path running alongside it almost uninterruptedly and of course a huge boost to green space beneath it. But I don't think anyone could deny it's an eye sore. Those piers or columns are uniformly and entirely grey. Why not spend a bit more and commission some art works by local street artists and disadvantaged youth?
Anyway, my thoughts around the Skyrail for what they're worth.

SedgwickDave and I are regular caching mates and we had not been out caching together for a while. So After parkrun this morning, headed out for a bit of a local... ish caching run.
Always love a good multi, I am on a quest to get my find total for Multi caches to 1000. This was #827
Many thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for the cache. TNLN.

Had a little time when close to this cache this morning so took the opportunity to grab it.
Managed to spend a late afternoon picking up a few relatively recently placed caches near to the new skyrail and Ross Reserve. This was my first stop and I picked up the initial information without too much trouble. I jumped back in the car and only moved further away from my next target. I walked back to correct that error and all fell into place when I worked out where GZ was. A quick find and fortunately this time I was close to my car to head to the next target. My first find of ten for the day, Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the multi cache Pinkpiggy7.
On my way to a puzzling event I just had to grab a quick cache and this was it. Some quick math once I had the correct info and a set of coordinates were soon exposed along with a cache find. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams

We found Skyrail #1 on a short drive around Noble Park
Although the answers were gathered quickly, I made a rookie error at the first waypoint but corrected myself before moving on.
On approach to GZ, I thought, my, that’s a lot of metal but quickly found the cache.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for placing this cache and being a part of out geocaching adventure

Last cache of the day for Quiet1_au and I today. This was much easier than the sequal had been and we soon had some co-ords. At Gz Q quickly found the cache hiddeen in typical manner. Thanks Pinkpiggy7

I was hoping to get this one while it was still light tonight but a last minute thing at work delayed me nearly an hour.
Luckily the mighty glow of the iPhone torch was enough to gather the clues and a short walk later I had the cache in hand and kept the streak going.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

After Skyrail #2 took us a lot longer than we had expected it to, it seemed the easier option to leave #1 for another day... But coming back for a single cache (ok, two given we had no idea where a mystery cache was so would have to return for that too...) was never going to be an option so while we still had remnants of daylight and the weather was still bearable we carried on to this one hoping for less trouble than its sequel. Thankfully yes - the clues were quickly gathered and GZ calculated. The hide was different to the others, but totally typical so with two sets of eyes it took no time to find it (I was the lucky one this time) Last cache of the day, and with more finds than required to start the Weekly Streak souvenir challenge (but no surprise there!) TFTC and a fun afternoon's caching
We decided to go out tonight to do a multi and this was the one that we chose. I parked nearby along the monstrous Skyrail and the geokids and I walked along the Djerring Trail to collect the information. The elder geokid assisted with the calculations while the little geokid explored the area with his flashlight. Off we went to collect more information to work out the final destination. Upon arriving at GZ we knew exactly where to look but it was the elder geokid who spot the cache. Log signed and replaced.

With a couple of new puzzles in the area I noticed the other caches in Ross Reserve so a plan was made to head to Noble park for a days caching, not the sort of area I would normally come to and the next caching trip I am going to go bush to recover from the stress LOL. The fight down the freeway on the way home was incredible, I so love living and working in Warragul, I don't miss driving the Monash. calculated the numbers and was soon at GZ for the find. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.
Had an early finish at work so I headed here to try the 2 new multis. Collected the clues and calculated my GZ no dramas. At GZ no trouble finding the little guy. TFTC!
Found your cache today. What a beautiful weather. Enjoyed to work out with Multi Pinkpiggy7, thank you so much for placing it.

Well, this find was a little unexpected as I had already got my non trad for the day and I had no intention of finding any more. I was not going to pass this one up though and, so after just exiting the freeway I made my way here. I know this area well as I travel into the city by train from this exact station. I quickly gathered the information for the first waypoint and then headed back to my car to make the calculation. I was just about to go to the second waypoint when SteMicMitSar turned up. I politely told him to go away and quickly gathered the next bit of info. Determined to get there first, I quickly calculated the final location and headed off at quite a pace. In no time at all, I had the cache in hand. A nice surprise a blank log. I moved a short distance away from GZ and had just put the logbook back in the container when SteMicMitSar arrived. I handed him the container and was about to leave, but not before we had been spotted by the local police. The car had stopped a meter or two from GZ. It was obvious they were watching us. As if a guy in a high vis shirt doesn't look suspicious, but then we are in Noble Park. Steve and I walked in the opposite direction taking the cache with us. A few minutes later the police car left and we were able to replace the cache. Thanks for another fun multi.

I was in the area for another reason and just so happened to drive passed the posted coordinates but at the time I hadn’t seen the notification for this cache so I was unaware that this one existed so I continued on my way.
About 10 - 15 minutes later I noticed the email and I couldn’t believe I had just driven passed an unfound cache so I decided to head back but in the meantime jascat had arrived on scene and had now got a head start on this one.
Eventually the log was signed.
