Found it! Struggled for a bit but then realised it was sticking out like a sore thumb... TFTC
This was the first cache for the day around the Wigram etc. area,Returning north after Dunedin mega and staying a few days in Chch with son so what better way to fill my days is to go Geocaching and today i decided on visiting Wigram. What a huge change since i was last there staying on The Runway with another son- they were the first to move into that new road some 15- 16 years ago i guess it was , Now there is a supermarket , a school , a movie theatre , a retirement village , multi housing , . Wow! Most of the caches were found except for two so the day was successful including the Labs there .
While waiting on our windscreen to be fixed thought we'd go for a walk - TFTC
Found with ThatDarnBear after visiting the monument outside of Blacks Fasteners. The suspicious pile of stones **and** sticks helped or search---I won tickets to see [Lve](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_(band)) play in Christchurch last time they were in NZ (20+ years ago) but I couldn't make it to the concert (I still have the tickets!)They've come back down under and I'm not letting the opportunity pass me by again! With my work leave and (more importantly) my home leave approved, I flew down last night for the concert tomorrow night. Today I cached my way around Wigram, joining forces with ThatDarnBear for the afternoon. I managed to find caches for the last three missing dates on my Hidden Date calendar, which finally qualifies me for [The 365/366 Challenge - Manawatu](https://coord.info/GC7R80A).All in all, an excellent day.
Etherlord is visiting from Palmerston North so we are out and about hunting down some caches he has on his radar, and stopping for a few extras along the way. Thanks for the cache.
On my way into the city this afternoon, I had time to find a few caches along the way. I made a special effort to get to this one, after my DNF a couple of weeks ago and the COs prompt replacement. It's much easier to find when it's there. TFTC, Biggles.
Nonostante questo arriviamo a oltre 20000....About this cache:logicamente arriviamo dalla parte opposta e lasciamo i mezzi elettrici. Attraversiamo a piedi ed Elio in poco realizza anche questo found !! Thanks Owner
On my way into the city to run a few errands, I took a slight detour and found a few caches along the way. Nearly a year since it was last found. No luck for me either...
We had seen a reference to roadworks in a log back in June, and assumed they would be long finished. But no, they continue, so our first task was to negotiate a route to the cache, after which it was a fairly quick find. TFTC
Took 3 of us and a little while, but got it finally.
Those road work seem eternal, but we found way round.

Took us a while considering someone found it yesterday but we got there after a few mins.
A nice easy find on this, the 3rd Saturday of August- WORLD GEOCACHING DAY!!!
As always, great to find another of this informative series.
TFTC Aslan- everything dry and in good order

Well this took longer than it should have- I had poked there a couple of times but then just 'came across it'- not sure how that happened, but it was a good start to the day. tftc
I found this cache after doing some cache maintenance. This was my first find of a few that I hope to find today.
Thanks for hiding this cache Aslan* I appreciate it.

Nice hide, wasn't where I expected but no one was around so I was able to have a good look around

I think there was a cache on this footbridge before? I kind of remember this place, and trying to find a cache with no success.
Anyway, it was a success today.
Another insight in the rail history of Chch!
Kia ora! Paldies!
TFTC, Aslan*!

Caching today with Little Horrible. It was a quick find just how we like them..TFTH
Tftc. Nice easy find. Didn’t realise there used to be a railway station here. Guess that makes sense since there is the walkway over bridge
#20133. I needed 5 finds today to get up to 26 for May 3. Troodles needed 9, so she found 4 caches in the morning then picked me up at lunchtime for a Wigram foray. Quick find here. TFTC.
I was in the area and thought I've got some time so I stopped here and found the cache. Good view from the bridge too. Thanks Aslan* for the history lesson.
I need 9 cache finds today to bring my total finds for 3 May to a nice dark green 26 on the geocaching.com stats page. StreetWalkerNZ only needed 5 so I had to do a solo mission this morning to find the extra caches then picked him up from work for a lunchtime drive to Wigram.
Got a close by park, and the cache was a quick find. TFTC.

Quick find. Was surprised it wasn’t on the bridge. I went up for a look but no trains came past at the time csadly.
Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
*We soon had another good cache located!*

Some freshly layed bark, and the incredibly rare didn't of some railway workers.....well...... working, had me wondering if it was a goner. But no, there it was. Cheers
was unable to find in fading light with val.also had new bark put down so that may have made it harder.will be back for another look
I needed to find 4 caches today, in my personal challenge, to bring my finds total for the 15th August up to 26 and thus into a deeper shade of green on GC's Statistic Daily Finds Calendar.
Parked the cachemobile near the airport and commenced what I had hoped would be a short cyclocache ride - it didn't quite turn out that way in the end.
After DNFing at my 3rd stop I had to cycle an extra couple of kms to get to this, my next closest unfound. A sorta familiar spot - I can remember finding a cache nearby some years ago. No problems with this cache. Thanks for the placement Aslan*, I now have my 4 caches for the day..

Thanks Aslan*
Thanks Aslan*
we found it a few day's ago and left some swap's there for other people and maybe you
Oh yes, those were the days, when there were lots of railway lines and lots of trains. TFTC .
I seem to be working my way through quite a few different railway series at the moment. Another ticked off on yours today Aslan*. Happy Leap day!
Found with beethovensbagalle and Mrs sib. Tftc looked awhile ago for the one on the bridge.
TFTC we love this spot always used to bring kids here when young for photos
Nice easy find, thanks for the history. There was a cache here some time ago on the bridge. TFTH
A nice quick find today. However the autorouting on the GPS had the closest parking to GZ was on the other side of the bridge. An interesting walk, somewhere I have not been before. Cheers.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Haven't been on a train on this line since I left Palmerston North for Invercargill via an overnight stop in the Ambassador Hotel, Chch in 1985. Lovely spring day to come here and enjoy the view and the cache with Karma Reprint. Tftc.
A quick grab on the way to Sumner this afternoon. I remember another cache around here that was quite a bit harder, luckily this one was not. Cheers
Nice quick find and sign on a wee detour in to work this morning. Quiet at GZ so easy enough to make the grab. Another cool railway spot, thanks G.
Cache was a quick find and I remember trying to find another cache that used to be nearby.
I just happened to be very close by checking out some hardware when I decided to see if there was a cache in the area (as you do). I made a short trip to GZ and looked around while I waited for some muggles to clear the area. A quick find after that. Tftc.
Nice quick find on a fine day. Train wnt by as I was logging. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2186
Glad this was a quick find - it's a busy spot at lunch time on a weekday!
I feel like I've found a cache around here before, though I couldn't tell you anything about it.

Quick easy find on my way past for another lunchtime walk. Thanks for the effort that goes into this series and of course placing and maintaining the cache.
I remember another one near here. Maybe it was a puzzle. It was somewhat higher! Anyway this was nice and straightforward. Thank you, Aslan*.

Saw this published and was in the ara today. Had a few minutes to spare before hooking up with Stumputrack from TrackMe. A nice quick find with only a few logs. Thanks again for the history. I had a find here previously on the walk way about halfway along.
