Very clever

Well the rocks. It's obviously in those rocks. After a lot of searching with no geocache to show for it. We noticed the coordinates were a little "off" So we moved. And sure enough, no way it's not that.. wait. It is there. Awesome thanks for the hunt and cool camouflage. A favourite point and left a pathtag. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

Favourite point for sure. It took me a bit longer to find this than it probably should have. What a great hide. Awesome hides with varying degrees of difficulty by the CO is making caching around Horsham a very pleasant experience indeed. Well done Duntulum.

Duntulum I am so enjoying your caches. On our way out of town we stopped for this one. The car that was also stopped eventually left and we had room to explore. This took a bit of exploring and some feeling around when suddenly it was ours! Clever, thanks Duntulum

**Found en route to Adelaide from Melbourne.** Big GrinTraveling back to Adelaide with GoodLook and The Dame we decided to stop and grab this cache after seeing the favourite points. It didn't disappoint SmileA nice straight forward find but adding a favorite point for the effort and something different. CoolThe thing I love about caching is the interesting stories, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the history, the interests of the individual COs, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals dont know about. I, like most cachers, look for more than a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most COs take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less travelled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be.Wink I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own.The weather was glorious, the vistas stunning, the coffee shops and bakeries wonderful and the company divine. Big Grin I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. Thank you Duntulum for highlighting this area and for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. Appreciate your efforts. Big Grin - P*Took*: Nothing*Left*: Fave Point**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Big GrinCache on! Cool**#18995**

A gold cache indeed! And the troopers name keeps popping up. The area could do with a CITO. As for the cache...BRILLIANT! On a multi mission with weirdobiker after the Lameroo Ludicrous Leg Warmers events in SA and now heading back east via a through different LGA's. Its been great exploring the country out west with plenty of highlights to remember. TFTC and the lure.

It was the final day of my slowly caching my way home to Adelaide from Bacchus Marsh; with the plan to find a few caches along the way before making the final stretch home. Having picked up a couple of caches on the way out of Horsham, the majority of my time was spent between the Dimboola area and Kaniva. With a decent number of caches put out in, and around, Dimboola since I was last in the area, it was nice to make a dent in finding them. When it got late in the day, and I had found all the caches that I was after, I put the GPS away and made my way home. Apologies for the generic log as I have plenty to write from my trip away.Find #9827, at 10:20 amTFTC Smile

Heading to Murray Bridge (yes, more motorsport, back to The Bend again) and was running to a fairly tight schedule so could only hunt a few caches on the way and this one with lots of favourites looked positive. Parked right at the memorial, which is interesting in several ways, firstly a nicely built sign but the key thing to me was "who really cares that they came past here with lots of gold! Surely the scene of an attempted robbery would be more interesting!!!!!!" Anyway, got a cache to find so after a good look around followed the GPSr where the cache was in hand quickly, nicely done with the hide! Thanks to Duntulum for this one, have another fave!

As our convey of three vehicles headed across from SA through VIC & NSW, we are focusing on collecting some LGAs before heading to the ACT Mega. To save space on all log sheets, we signed as 5 for QLD.All caches we found were in good condition, and with the odd wet logbook being replaced with write in the rain paper.Thank you to all cache owners for placing these hides for the benefit of the geocaching community

We attended a Mega in Adelaide for Leap Year, and are now slowly making our way to Canberra for the Easter Mega. We called in here to find this cache as it ticks off another LGA for this state. We are using the Acronym 6 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Gold is also found on the ground, and sometime under. It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. So, log signed and cache replace as found on 16th March, 2024. TFTC, Duntulum.

Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 12.and Tasmania Trip Day 1. The next phase of my journey begins today as I head across towards Geelong to catch the ferry to Tasmania tomorrow night. Apart from one DNF from my last trip I did not stop till some of the new counties in Victoria. I had a big plan for the day but cut it short as the pub I selected to stay in was so relaxing, I could not get out again. I did not see any signs of the fires, so that was good, but it was a long drive and I left my lunch board at the first cache in Victoria. Oh well. A great night in the pub, doing logs in the front bar and a nice lamb cutlet dinner. When I arrived there were others having a rest in their car, so as it was lunch, I used the table to make lunch. When the others left, I went got the cache. A very impressive hide construct. I then left, and a day later, realised I left my board and knife on the table ! oh well. Thanks for the cache Duntulum45762.2 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & September 2023 The Jeweled Darner A#535**Albida**

#19194 - 9:57:52 AM; Day two of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip. A last minute change of plans due to my usual partner in crime becoming unavailable saw me heading off in the geomobile and not by air as previously arranged. After a night in Beaufort, I continued the journey west through Ararat, Great Western, Stawell, Dadswells Bridge, Horsham, Dimboola, Nhill and Kaniva, where I was joined by feathertop, before crossing the border into South Australia. It was then on to Bordertown, Keith and Murray Bridge, before returning to Tailem Bend and the accommodation followed an event to wrap up the daily mission. All caches were found in good condition and returned as found once the log was signed. Checked a couple of options before setting the geosenses free and locating the log. A fave for the effort! TFTC Duntulum Smile

Alltid hyggelig med et nytt smilefjes p kartet.????Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, Norge????????????Me and MrVon sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.????We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.????Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway????????????

Pulled into the layby but there was a car already there. Sat in the car and read the cache page and logs to get a sense of what we might be looking for - no hints but enough info to let us know it might be tricky. Once the school bus had dropped off the passenger for the other car and they all left, we started our hunt. Checked a few places that tricky caches have hidden in the past and then checked something else. Yes there it is, well hidden. tftc#7301

Ooh i do love a clever cache and this one certainly qualifies, a little ripper. I am on a quick circuit in the west of the state starting in Dimboola and ending somewhere near Ballarat depending how it goes. I have created a list of caches to target which means i will be driving past lots of others, i will have to come back this way again on a future hunt. Gold ! Gold ! Gold ! is find number 3,055 for me. A fun small traditional cache I enjoyed finding as part of my caching trip to Horsham Rural City. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. I am logging this one on Friday 10 Nov 2023 at 5:35 pm and the weather is Few Clouds 37C 11% 3 m/s . TFTC Duntulum for your cache Gold ! Gold ! Gold !. We are travelling from Ararat to Dimboola today. We targeted a few caches along the highway. Our motorhome with a car in tow is a big large to head far off the main route. U Turning is our greatest problem. Caches found in good order.
I am sure that we have stopped here previously, but never mind we found a cache here.

On a road trip with Michells&hound and allister w over to Ballarat to complete the Geo Tour as well as other highly favourited caches and odd ones we were going past. We had a great weekend with four seasons of weather over the three days and even managed to attend an event in Sebastopol before heading home. Saw lots of the countryside and very interesting places in and around Ballarat. [^]

The others had already found this one but they kindly stopped so I could make the find. I wasn't quite sure how to get the log, but eventually worked it out. Wink

Thanks for the cache Duntulum a favourite for me. Smile

Out on a Christmas break with sir_spectre, exploring southern Victoria grabbing lots of smilies, finding caches in LGA's and of course signing a few more challenges.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

06-Jan-23
stopped because of the amount of fav points. nice work on the cammo, fits in nicely. fav point Stopped to get a cache or five in a new LGA. quick find.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.
