Heading away for the long weekend to clear some counties and found this cache on the way. The weather is brilliant and the scenery wonderful. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
After an enjoyable stay in Armidale with some great caching, it was time to move on so we traveled to Tamworth, again caching where it was possible on the way.We spent much of the day catching up with jobs and relaxing before heading out late in the afternoon for some shopping and a few caches and Lab points.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache geono..SKI Pair**
Reperio 13:24Day 2 of our tour of Tamworth caching trip, and Master Vitruvius and I decided to head out towards Hillgrove and Wollomombi. With lots of drive by caches, most the finds were nice and quick, with a few nicely crafted caches thrown into the mix. The most pleasingly part of the day was that nearly all the caches were available and found.Gratias SgettyAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
After a great night sleep it was back on the road again and collecting more ticks on a map. I am in Tamworth and this place needs a little more investigating. The golden guitar is fun but there is a lot more to this place. The rain was starting to come down so I thougt I would try and get in some caches that where quick and easy. I had completed the adventure Lab so there was a bonus to that (which i did not find) ok a couple others and then I need to start moving further up the road.I am looking forward to a drive into Walcha and check out the town. It has been 40 years since I was last here, wonder if it has changed. Leaving town and i sawthis letterbox series of caches. easy park up to and some very interesting works. I found this one and signed the log and replaced the cache as found, thanks for the hide.
Up this way visiting a friend at Watsons Creek for his 3rd 21st birthday and introducing him to Geocaching.Nice easy hide.TFTC Sgetty.
It was a cold, windy, and rainy morning in Glen Innes and the weather has improved a lot since then. The sun has come out and the wind is disappeared. It is going be a good day out and about geocaching. As I head further South, I am finally in my target area for a certain challenge cache in Brisbane. Now to find a few caches before heading North. A quick find once at gz. .Thanks for the cache.
Was going to cut through the drainage ditch but changed my mine after a close encounter with a black snake. The second snake in two days. Took Nothing Left nothing Signed Log

Stopped here to find this cricket related cache in honour of the cricket obsessions and obsessed we are surrounded by. Nice to have a Bendemeer blip on the map now, seeing as Geoboyfriend attended a wedding here years ago and got to manhandle the bride - so he tells us!
Been to this one before, look like sign has changed. Nice easy stop & grab. TNLN SL TFTC
Bathurst to Armidale today for two nights and caching on the way. Some target caches that need our names in them.
Nearly out of my reach.

Cache was quickly spotted. All is good here.
Thank you.

Having enjoyed the past five days in Uralla, exploring the wider area between Guyra and Tamworth, it was time to leave our "alternative to the QLD mega" base and start slowly heading back towards home in Western Victoria.
Chook managed to find this one cleverly tucked away, while Chunk was busy doing the touristy thing of taking lots of photos. TFTC Sgetty.

#7094 Day 5 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we headed out of Armidale down towards Tamworth. Only a short trip of 150km or so, but with sufficient geostops to fill out the day. Highlights for today had to be the geono caches around Uralla and Uralla itself. We bumped into "The Neighbs" along the way and had a chat. They were heading up to the Mega too, but had to divert.
I think we overthought this one. It was much simpler than expected.
Thanks Sgetty

9950 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1315. Now headed further north towards Dayboro eventually. After a bite to eat at the pub this was our next port of call. A well-placed container. SL Tnx Sgetty
We are working our way towards the mega in Daybro, it was good to see a day with no rain so we were just grabbing a few caches that were close to the road trying to make up a bit of time in case we get turned around by floods.
It's funny how when some one becomes famous people want to jump on the band wagon and claim them for their own but now we know the truth:-)
As we came into Bendemeer we noticed that the Grey Fergy muster has been postponed and that must have been a bit of a blow to a town that looks like it is struggling.
The cache itself turned out to be a nice easy find and we happily added our name to the log book.
Thanks Sgetty for the cache.

Have seen this sign here many times driving past. Thought we’d stop and clear the area. TFTC, TNLNSL.
Found on a leisurely drive from Orange to Armidale, picking up caches & listening to the cricket.
The Aussie bowlers had a tough day at the Gabba today, with India's 7th wicket partnership putting on 120-odd runs when they were expected to collapse. Not long before I arrived here, the innings was finally wrapped up by Josh bowling Mohammed Siraj for a 5 wicket haul. Couldn't think of a better time to get this one! TFTC.

Hi there Sgetty.
We found your cache **"Favorite Son"** today.
Today we headed out from Tamworth to attempt some caches around Uralla. Today we found 10 caches and DNF'd 0
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you Sgetty for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

After a couple of busy days we decided to have a nice slow day caching with ilook4geo. This really was a nice quick park and grab. Log was signed with both names and all was put back as it had been found. Thanks go to Sgetty for this cache placement.
It was time to move on again with goingplaces2. Nice easy find here. Cache retrieved, log signed, all replaced. Job done! TFTC.
Luckily the rain eased off long enough to locate and sign this one.

Spending the afternoon caching around the Bendemeer area - thanks Sgetty for placing these caches and maintaining them as well as showing us some special places.
Out and about caching today around Bendemeer, while visiting Tamworth and surrounds. Finding many caches that have been placed by CO's who bring us to spots we would probably not travel too and/or stop. Thank you to theses CO's - much appreciated. TFTC
Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 4. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we decided to stay an extra day around Tamworth and as far away as Uralla. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost every cache.
Thanks for the cahe Sgetty

Day 4 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be another big days caching. We aimed to hit some more of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

#16813. Our second day on the road with the new camper travelling homewards from Uralla to Mudgee. A long day - smoky and the land is so dry and desolate and soul-destroying. Gathered a few caches along the way as they popped up on the radar.
Found this one fairly quickly. Hopefully it stays safe from muggles as it is a fairly bold sort of hide.
Thanks Sgetty

Slowly heading home. Left Uralla this morning heading for Mudgee.
Bettyboo3747 and I collected occasional caches along the way.
Nearly bypassed Bendemeer altogether, just detoured in to grab this cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

Tamworth to Bendemeer
Arrived into Bendemeer at lunch time & have set up camp along the riverside.
This afternoon we travelled along roads we have never before been on. We enjoyed the many different rock formations we spotted along the roadside.
A good variety of cache hides & hints that kept us guessing.
We were keen to read the sign to see who was the favourite son.
Thankyou for placing this cache Sgetty

Found by Mary and David at 14:10. We particularly liked the Bendemeer sign, which does incorporate much of what this area offers in better conditions. Our thanks to Sgetty.
